      I got a bill a year after my hospital visit. They did not bill my insurances after I provided them (keep in month my insurances are listed on the bill) anyways I call and get an agent who says he cant help and gives me another number. I call and am on hold for 40 minutes after it says Its less than 20 minute wait. Well at minute 41 the call drops. How annoying I cant even get to someone to pay the bill or update my insurance so my only choice is either to pay the bill or get sent to collections. They know their mistakes and they wont Deal with it so that youre stuck paying the bill or getting sent to collections do better as a medical company

      Billed me nearly $2k to get an earplug removed from my ear, was about a 10 minute appointment at most. I'm a college student only able to make about $20k a year at most, and thats before tax. Spending more than 10% of my yearly income on a 10 minute appointment is not fun. Calling through 40 minute wait times.

      Daughter was seen by one of their physicians in the emergency room for less than 10 minutes. Get a bill for over $560. I had just changed insurance companies after the visit and they would not pay on the bill so I got stuck with it. Attempted to negotiate a lower price with the company using a variety of logical arguments and was told absolutely no deals, discounts, reductions, negotiations etc., even though insurance companies do it all day long and get major discounts! By the way, they just added a late fee for good measure! We set up a payment plan and then after giving a card number, they tell me that I have to pay a (*&^*&%^ "Convivence fee!" that they are tacking on the monthly charge.Our medical system is screwed up and these guys are a prime example of putting the screws to the little guy, the ones least able to pay so they can make their McMansion payment.

      They billed me for a covid patient when we went there because my daughter was suicidal. The hospital was paid just fine, but they are saying my insurance won't cover their charges. Well, yeah, because you were charging for a critically ill covid related patient! It's corrupt! So, they ended up taking off $218 of my bill (original was $1,012) and now, they won't respond to my emails or requests for them to rebill my insurance. I also called and no one answers even though their bill clearly states they are open. This is a corrupt company FOR SURE. If you ever go to UVRMC, just know you'll be dealing with this unethical company.
