On 12/18/24 I was in Orem attending a dance competition for my daughter. I went to Wiggy Wash for a one time car wash. The boy attendant tried to sell me a monthly membership but I told him that I did not live in the area. He then told me that they had locations all throughout Utah. I told him where I lived and pointed out the fact that there were no close locations to where I lived and a membership would be useless to me. I told him I wanted to purchase the one time wash and he then told me that for just $5.00 extra I could get as many return washes as I wanted for the next 30 days. Since my daughter's dance competition was a 2 day competition and I would be in the area another day I said yes, thinking that I could return for another wash the following day before driving home. I thought it was weird that he put a barcode in my window, but he said it was for my 30 day return wash service. I never returned for another wash. On 3/23/24 I was reviewing my bank account and noticed a charged from wiggy wash for $19.95 on 3/18/24. I searched my bank account for other charges and realized that I had also been charged $19.95 every month since my car wash on 12/18/24. Recurring charges of $19.95 were charged to my account on 1/18/24, 2/20/24, and 3/18/24. I immediately called Wiggy Wash, but it was after hours so I followed their instructions and went on their website. I explained what happened to me and asked for someone to contact me. No one contacted me, instead I received an auto response email saying that my membership had been canceled. I called their customer service again 3/26/24 and was rudely told by their CS representative that there was nothing they could do for me and I would have to contact my bank. It was very clear they had no interest in reprimanding this employee and that this is how they conduct business. They are fraudulently signing customers up for memberships without their knowledge hoping they will not notice so they can collect money. It's fraud!

Wiggy wash hires teenagers (which is a good thing), however they do not always know whats going on. In march of 2022 I started to notice hard water marks and micro scratches on my truck, and wanted to discontinue my membership. When I spoke to one of the reps on site, I was told that they would cancel out my account for me. This rep was a teenager and apparently either wasnt able to or didnt cancel my membership like I was told. Ive been getting charged for this account since last march and went to dispute the charges and request a refund with their customer service. The customer service was rude, and ultimately I was denied any refund due to their terms of service. They can obviously see I havent used their service since last march, and where they hire *********** age employees should be willing to correct the mistakes of those high school age employees. I would like to refunded the charges since last march and an apology from the lady supervisor I spoke to who hung up on me.the account *** have been under my wifes name and phone number: *************************** / ************

      ********************,
I am sorry you feel this way about your experience.  You are correct in saying that people make mistakes, and our fantastic team members are not immune to that.  To help reduce human error we require all cancellations be completed, by the customer, through our website.  When you activated the pass initially you would have seen and accepted a screen on the pay station that clearly states this.  Unfortunately, non-use of service is not a valid reason for a refund as the service was available to you over the past year.  Unfortunately, because of the elapsed time since the day you intended to cancel, we are unable to refund the charges you are requesting.  We would however be able to refund charges that have occurred in the last 90 days.

      Thank you for your business.

My car was damaged on November 27, 2021, when a truck got stuck in the car wash in front of me. Apparently, there is no auto-shutoff on their equipment for these situations and the attendant/manager was not paying attention and did not shut the equipment off manually until my car hit the first truck, and the truck behind me hit me. I tried to get Wiggy Wash's insurance information, which she refused to give to me. I was never given the option of having her start a claim. Instead, I was told she would give the information to the investigating officer and it would be in the police report. When I received the report, there was no insurance information for the car wash listed. On the day of the accident, the investigating officer told me that was the 2nd time that week that the police had been called to that location because of an accident in the car wash. I was advised to file a claim with my insurance and they would pursue reimbursement from Wiggy Wash through segregation, which I did. After all of the work was done on my car, my insurance tried to start the segregation process and Wiggy Wash told them they would not deal with them until I went back to the car wash in person and filed a claim. I went to the car wash and there wasn't a manager there at the time. I got the manager's name and tried to call, but got a recording saying that I was calling outside of business hours, which I wasn't. I was finally able to speak to a manager in person on April 23, 2022, and he filed the claim on the spot. Today (April 25) I received an email from Wiggy Wash saying they have a 48-hour policy on claims and will not proceed with the claim.
