Warning: company does not cover damage made by their machines. I loved going to this car wash and went for a few months with my brand-new car. I only ever park my car in my garage, or at work, and rarely drive it elsewhere. I was getting my car washed once a week here. I noticed, after several car washes, that the clear coat on my new car, had 100s of tiny scratches on it. When I showed the manager at the car wash, he agreed it looked like damage from the spinning cleaners inside the wash. He took pictures for me and submitted the claim request, saying that the pictures made it pretty obvious (no other way I'd get 100s of scratches in my clear coat right where those side spinners go). After 2 weeks, I call Wiggy Wash corporate, and they say the head manager at corporate denied my claim because his wash can't damage cars. I've had no recourse ever since. So I'm making this complain to warn other customers that this company won't work with you if/when they damage your car.Initial Complaint

On 12/18/24 I was in Orem attending a dance competition for my daughter. I went to Wiggy Wash for a one time car wash. The boy attendant tried to sell me a monthly membership but I told him that I did not live in the area. He then told me that they had locations all throughout Utah. I told him where I lived and pointed out the fact that there were no close locations to where I lived and a membership would be useless to me. I told him I wanted to purchase the one time wash and he then told me that for just $5.00 extra I could get as many return washes as I wanted for the next 30 days. Since my daughter's dance competition was a 2 day competition and I would be in the area another day I said yes, thinking that I could return for another wash the following day before driving home. I thought it was weird that he put a barcode in my window, but he said it was for my 30 day return wash service. I never returned for another wash. On 3/23/24 I was reviewing my bank account and noticed a charged from wiggy wash for $19.95 on 3/18/24. I searched my bank account for other charges and realized that I had also been charged $19.95 every month since my car wash on 12/18/24. Recurring charges of $19.95 were charged to my account on 1/18/24, 2/20/24, and 3/18/24. I immediately called Wiggy Wash, but it was after hours so I followed their instructions and went on their website. I explained what happened to me and asked for someone to contact me. No one contacted me, instead I received an auto response email saying that my membership had been canceled. I called their customer service again 3/26/24 and was rudely told by their CS representative that there was nothing they could do for me and I would have to contact my bank. It was very clear they had no interest in reprimanding this employee and that this is how they conduct business. They are fraudulently signing customers up for memberships without their knowledge hoping they will not notice so they can collect money. It's fraud!Initial Complaint

Wiggy wash hires teenagers (which is a good thing), however they do not always know whats going on. In march of 2022 I started to notice hard water marks and micro scratches on my truck, and wanted to discontinue my membership. When I spoke to one of the reps on site, I was told that they would cancel out my account for me. This rep was a teenager and apparently either wasnt able to or didnt cancel my membership like I was told. Ive been getting charged for this account since last march and went to dispute the charges and request a refund with their customer service. The customer service was rude, and ultimately I was denied any refund due to their terms of service. They can obviously see I havent used their service since last march, and where they hire *********** age employees should be willing to correct the mistakes of those high school age employees. I would like to refunded the charges since last march and an apology from the lady supervisor I spoke to who hung up on me.the account *** have been under my wifes name and phone number: *************************** / ************Business Response

********************,
I am sorry you feel this way about your experience. You are correct in saying that people make mistakes, and our fantastic team members are not immune to that. To help reduce human error we require all cancellations be completed, by the customer, through our website. When you activated the pass initially you would have seen and accepted a screen on the pay station that clearly states this. Unfortunately, non-use of service is not a valid reason for a refund as the service was available to you over the past year. Unfortunately, because of the elapsed time since the day you intended to cancel, we are unable to refund the charges you are requesting. We would however be able to refund charges that have occurred in the last 90 days.Thank you for your business.
