Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had with an apartment and management company together!!! *** tried to call multiple times but no one ever answers the phone. The amount of disrespect myself and my wife have dealt with from boardwalk is unbelievable they dont answer the phones they dont care about the tenants only the money they can get from their tenants. They raised our 1100$ rent for our 1 bedroom to almost 1400$ with no reason other than they wanted to raise rent because of the other apartments in the area that actually have amenities and someone you can talk to we cant get anyone on the phone or by email and its absolutely atrocious

Its livable. What we were and are being told from a man named ****** about the condition of a rental house my daughter is renting from the company he works for. The pictures of this house that my daughter, son in law and their 3 little kids are renting, speak volumes about how this company operates. I would truly run the other way and never do business with them. Learn from us. They are a circus act, so dishonest and I cant believe they are still in business. After getting the keys 2 days later than originally told, because they dont work on the weekends, these pictures show the state of the house as we were moving my daughters family in. Cracked window, water damage in a bedroom ceiling, bathtub spout doesnt turn off, no porcelain in the kitchen sink-so it has massive stains, rust in the bathroom sink, door k*** fell off the front door, mismatched paint from touch-**** left old food in the freezer, left gross curtains in two rooms, left old stereo covered with grease, left many things actually and literally everything, EVERYTHING, shelves, cabinets, appliances, walls, the ceiling, baseboards, windows EVERY surface was covered in grime, filth, mold or dirt. When trying to get help from Boardwalk rental management company, we were told by ******, that its livable and they are fine with the condition its in. They said it was touch-up painted and cleaned to their standards. After disagreeing, they proceeded to ignore all communication from my daughter and me. I am at a loss as to the high standards they claim on their website. This house was truly listed as immaculate. An immaculate 4 bedroom I kid you not. The its livable is the high standard? And what poor customer service and immature behavior its to ignore cries for help. BEWARE of this company and enjoy a few of the dozens of pictures taken to show the filth and conditions.*no place for pictures here. Pictures on my ****** review.

Boardwalk Realty is employed by people who can't seem to manage the smallest task of entering a rental payment into the rental customer's they serve's account. I'm glad I'm done with them, though after my paid in full account and moving out, they reported to my credit bureau and for what? I have all the proof of payments, and their reporting has nothing to substantiate their actions. It has "no data available" for the months I moved out, haha. What kind of company is this??? I'm writing this as one of MANY tenants who have had to deal with their ****** work performance, and am surprised this database has only one other review. I'd be happy to spread the word to the other tenants I have heard from. It'll be easy to find someone to ask firsthand about dealing with them, just ask around. The list of issues I dealt with is long but here's a few-every other month, getting an eviction notice on the apartment door saying rent was unpaid. Having to call them to remind them to check their books and find it and note it (for real), and them apologizing. Having them set rules for the apartment (no pets), to have them not manage and others have animals (they're collecting money, that's all they do), no ground maintenance like snow removal, (calling to complain and request it), drugs on prop, but no one manages or shows up unless posting an eviction notice, again, they're just collecting money from landlords, terrible customer service, try calling their telephone number (the only method of contact), to hear mailboxes are full, no responses unless you show up at their office location, oh wait, no location now because they don't want anyone contacting them to correct their behaviors and mistakes, double charging tenants, with an eviction notice since they didn't note the tenant paid...again, and their lack of internal communication of who did what, and what do they do exactly??? Oh yeah, collect paychecks for the company. Good luck and beware, I'm off to dispute my credit report.

Lived in a property in Downtown *** for 4 years and finally had to leave due to the terrible property management of boardwalk. ********** specifically is the most unprofessional immature woman I've ever dealt with. I would get bogus charges random months for things out of my control like flooding from rain ** the basement I didn't even occupy. The prices would change multiple times. Getting maintenance out was a nightmare. Getting a text call or email response took weeks and multiple attempts. She's dating the owner so good luck going above her. When I had many problems with the college tenants below they were of no help and actually made the situations worse. They took a walk out between units without my knowledge or me being home!! Tons of threats of fines any time you reach out for help. I was the best renter, I paid on time every time, great credit, house in spotless condition and yet got charge more than half my large deposit for silly things like touch up paint not matching ( they provided the paint) and dirty air filters ( they required you to pay monthly for air filters that they send out). The cute house isn't worth the headache of dealing with this company. They have so much turnover as well.

*******, I am sorry that you feel that you didn't have a good experience. You rented with us for 4 years. I'm not sure why, if you didn't have a good experience, that you would keep renewing. I appreciate the feedback and I think reviews of services are important, but that they should also be truthful in not trying to deceive others with inaccurate information. Christiaan did a great job in managing your property. She went to bat many times for you throughout the years. When YOU were getting into arguments with the downstairs tenants about parking. When YOU were getting into arguments with the next door neighbor, also about parking. That neighbor would call stating that YOU were very disrespectful and threating to her. And all due to the fact that YOU were parking in her driveway and she was simply asking you not to. But even then Christiaan went to bat for you. There were also several incidences where your boyfriend, who was not to be living at the property, brought several broken down vehicles and left them in the driveway or in front of the property for very long periods of time, which was not allowed. Even then Christiaan tried to work with you. And for you to bring up her personal information and details, I don't think it is very professional to bring up personal information and try to use it to disgrace or shame someone to the public. Especially after she tried so many times to help you.As for the charges you encountered. The water flooding into the basement had nothing to do with rain. You were allowed to plant a little garden next to the basement unit of the building, and you, twice, left the hose on for a very long and extended time while watering your garden, which was the cause of the flooding and water damage. This was confirmed by several contractors. We would never charge anyone for any damage that was not related to their own neglect. Unfortunately the water was left on and caused damage. As for the door being taken out. I just want to clarify, that was not us. That was the property owner who did that, and upon learning about it, Christiaan, yet again, went to bat for you and made sure it was replaced.I'm sure that you are aware that a security deposit is there in the case there is damage or tenant related/ caused repairs needed once a tenant moves out. Unfortunately there were some costs associated with your moveout. Yes the paint was provided, but it was not applied correctly and the whole house was polka dots with the touchup paint you did and needed to be redone. I don't think you or any future tenant would be satisfied moving into a home with polka dots all over the place. As a make-up artist as your profession, you of all people would understand that touchup needs to be blended in. 2nd, the filters were extremely filthy and were your responsibility to replace when needed. We even sent filters to your doorstep and they were still not replaced.Overall you did take good care of the home and for this we thank you. But those few items of damage did need to be taken care of and from the security deposit as outlined in the lease agreement. Here are a few links to the some of the move out report pictures illustrating the damage, for any questions that anyone may have. https://portfolio.zinspector.com/report/media/L2p9n1vbGyXZPbRxzuvaaJ3zmVY6MgNQ. https://portfolio.zinspector.com/report/media/12wBGbkzLnXRVbvK0SR.BBXPap3NK8OVYhttps://portfolio.zinspector.com/report/media/v4V2xDqykEJgGeQA0FBAAJm3jNodZWgB *******, if you have any question I am more than happy to discuss them with you and help you resolve your frustrations.
