Since making a contract with this company, i have been trying to work with them to simply adjust the payment date to a date that would work best for me. I made additional payment arrangements that i was told by a supervisor (******) would resolve the issue but i am now being told that that was not possible, and that the arrangement was never offered or took place. On Dec. the 12th when I called in and spoke with a rep. she said that she could see the notes from ****** and read them to me, then she transferred me over to a manager, that was totally unprofessional and told me that i never had an arrangement and only made the extra payments to get ahead. In the beginning. i was forced to put stop payments on my ACH payments until my other payment were cleared at my bank and then released the payments on the 3rd. ****** offered me the extra payment arrangement alone with a credit of 300 dollars because i had been having so many problems from the start trying to rectify this issue and i accepted. after this, i got charged twice and called in for a refund, i ask ****** if he would only refund me only 300 of the 937 to ensure that i would not have to call again, 3 weeks later oor there about, i was charged ************************************************************************************************************************** payments and that the cannot and will not be changed unless i make another arrangement to pay twice in one month again. I was also told that each time the system charged me a late charge, these charges were being waived, but in fact they were being added as additional charges. I ask ******, how many payments were left on my account at that time and he told me that there were 25, this was in Sep. as of Dec. 12th i told that there are still 25 payments remaining. I think there should be a refund of the late charges (even if in the form of a payment) and payment date changed to requested date of the 3rd of the month. Much more details if needed. If I could leave half a star, I wouldnt. Clicklease collects $806/mo (AUTO PAY ONLY) from me for a trailer only worth $17,000 **** If I dont pay it off in 5 months, I finance $28,000. The $806/mo doesnt go towards the $17,000 price tag, so you arent paying anything down. They only take full payoff or nothing. And theyve held my documents for registration hostage for months instead of giving them to me to go to the dmv myself like every other company that Ive worked with. So I pay $806/mo for a trailer to sit in my driveway because I cant move it legally without a tag and registration.Scam scam scam!Absolute thieves! If I wasnt paying so much for a lawn ornament, Id have the money to hire a lawyer, so unfortunately Im stuck in the rut of paying until a miracle happens and I can pay off the trailer in whole to get away from these crooks.Business Response

On 8/21/23, I a Traxx for $16,600 from a seller with Clicklease. I was told I would receive all the registration docs in a few weeks. I have requested updates and progress on the Traxx registration information on 9/4, 9/13, 9/19, 9/26, 10/9, 10/10 and 10/13 from the seller without avail. The temporary plate will expire soon and the trailer will be of no use and inoperable if that comes to pass. I spoke to Clicklease who said the title was never provided to proceed. I would like for Clicklease to move expeditiously to get this resolved. If it is not resolved before the plate expires next month, payments will need to be discontinued due to the inability to legally operate the trailer due to inability to register or the trailer will need to be returned and payments refunded if the trailer cannot be legally registered within a reasonable amount of time.Business Response

Thank you for letting us know of your concerns. Clicklease is the leasing company of your leased equipment and as part of the title and registration process, we require documents sent to us from your vender to process paperwork to send to the DMV. In this case due to the delay in receiving the paperwork we have not been able to send documentation. We have been in contact with your vender and the paperwork is in route. Our suggestion is to contact your vender to ask for a second temporary plate. We will work diligently to expedite the situation to the best of our ability once we receive the documents. I purchased equipment from Coldesi and made a down payment of $2500. The balance to be financed with Clicklease was $4100.00. When I signed the lease, I assumed (without any explanation or true understanding of what I was getting into based on the contract) that I would be financing the $4100. I was a new business and wanted a small payment so I chose the 45-month option looking for a small payment amount until $4100 was paid off. To my surprise, I was charged the monthly amount of $156.70. (they are taking $165 plus a month) for 45 months with a total of $7452 total, which is $3,352.45 more than what I actually owed. The process was so quick that I did not understand the process to know that they would be charging that much more in interest or whatever they claimed it to be. I feel that they should have detailed that in the contract as a visual so people can see what they are actually being charged. It was not listed that way and they are ripping people off with no detailed information. According to my calculations, I have paid $4,316.00 towards the equipment. That is $216 more than the balance I started with of $4100.00. If I continue to pay until the 45-month term, I would have paid way more than the printer is worth and way more interest than is fair. This is a complete rip-off and I need this adjusted.Business Response

Thank you for letting us know of your concern. Clicklease provides complete information about our commercial equipment business purpose lease program and agreed upon monthly lease payments when you apply and when you sign the Equipment Lease Agreement. Before you can electronically sign our lease agreement, you selected the term (timeframe during which your business wants to lease the commercial equipment) along with the corresponding monthly lease payments that best suited your needs. Selected lease term and monthly payments were then incorporated into the Equipment Lease Agreement and presented to you for electronic signature. The monthly lease payment and term are disclosed prominently on page one of the lease agreement. Please feel free to reach out to us any time Monday through Friday between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM Eastern if you would like to further discuss your individual situation.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: it does not take the fact that the information regarding the payment and the additional amount that you charge or apply to the total purchase is not disclosed in details. You provide a monthly payment with the number of months. And the monthly payment you withdraw is more than what I signed for. The total purchase should be disclosed in detail to give the customer the chance to determine if they want to proceed. That was not giving. Being a new business owner the communication was not giving since everything was electronically and fast. Buyers beware.
Sincerely,

Thank you for letting us know of your concerns. The commercial equipment lease you electronically executed in non-cancelable. That being the case, a concession was unilaterally made by the Lessor that terminated your lease. In accord with the irrevocable and non-cancelable term of the executed Equipment Lease Agreement, there is no provision to refund payments made under the Equipment Lease Agreement prior to termination. In August of 2022, I purchased equipment for my business. I made sure to read through the contract/terms of agreement very thoroughly before signing the agreement, specifically looking for early payoff options and penalties. My total equipment purchase was $3600. The contract has an early pay off option of 5 months and you only pay the face value of the contract/invoice. My 5 month "grace period" would have been January of 2023. I contacted the company today 1 year and 7 days from purchase to inquire about the payoff balance and was told to my surprise that my balance after 12 months of payments was $6,432. I spoke with a representative who could not answer my questions about the balance and paying off early and continued to give the same canned response. The call was escalated to a Supervisor named "Kato" (unsure on spelling"). He was rude and condescending and still never answered my questions to the same canned response the associate gave. I asked where in the contract does it say if the lease is paid off after the 5 month grace period but before the end of the lease term that the full balance of the lease would be due versus a prorated amount based on when the lease was paid off. He kept giving me the run around and still never provided me with any answers or could show me the language in the contract. I pointed out all the areas in the contract that would apply to this situation, (clause #2, clause #4, and clause #14 (end of term)). Again, he could not direct me to the place in the contract that supported his canned response and proceeded to tell me that I do not understand contracts or leases and I was upset because he was not giving me the answer I wanted. I am a consumer who believes in paying what I owe on time and based on the terms of my agreement. This information was not disclosed in the contract and borders deceptive trade practices and predatory lending. We are seeking legal counsel to further resolve this matter.Business Response

Thank you for letting us know of your concerns. We are grateful that ******* * *** ***** ******** *** ******* *** leased business equipment through Clicklease LLC. Your business and financial responsibility is greatly appreciated. Clicklease provides business purpose commercial leases, not consumer loans or consumer transactions. Commercial equipment leases have a fixed payment for a fixed term. Clicklease does offer both an “Early Purchase Option” and an end of term “Purchase Option.” As you noted, the Early Purchase Option period has expired, thus the present termination quote includes all remaining unpaid lease term payments, the Purchase Option (assuming your business desires the equipment) and if applicable, tax and fees.
Notwithstanding the right of Clicklease to enforce the original terms and non-cancelability of the Equipment Lease Agreement, and in consideration of your excellent care of the lease up to this point, Clicklease is extending the “Early Purchase Option” to Shamica & Co. Event Planning and Design, LLC through September 29, 2023. Thereafter, the original terms, lease payments and any applicable taxes and fees (if applicable) will be due and payable as scheduled without exception.

Click Lease LLC finances products for a company called Salon Equipment Center in Northbrook, IL. Clicklease accepted a contract from Salon Equipment Center in which the order was previously cancelled and was ultimately never fulfilled. A product was never ordered, scheduled for delivery or delivered but Clicklease accepted the contract at face value and has been debiting my account for 6 months. Upon realizing this, on 7-7-23, I contacted Clicklease (Donovan) to attempt to stop payment and resolve the fraudulent activity. Donovan stated the debit transactions would continue but he would "add notes to my file". He stated there would be no fraud investigation and the matter would not be turned over to another department to resolve the loss Clicklease incurred by paying Salon Equipment Center for an equipment order that was cancelled and never delivered. Clicklease was made aware of the fraudulent activity committed by Salon Equipment Center and is complicit in their fraudulent scam or are acting on behalf of Salon Equipment Center.Business Response
