    I reached out because I needed a 20' storage container to store hay. I was asked what condition and Jade noted for an excellent used container, including shipping, it would be $4500.80. You can see the shock of what I received in the attached pdf with images. They want to refund only $750 even though I did not D&A the item. This was a bait and switch.

Since the item was not D&A (Delivered & Accepted), this could constitute a failed delivery under our policy.

    I am rejecting this response because:   the container arrived and did not meet my approval so, like other businesses, I declined to accept.   This container was not of the excellent, used condition quoted by you Salesperson Jade G*******   In addition, the fact the delivery driver was trying to have me purchase one from one of his friends along with Jonathon now claiming they could get another, this was a bait and switch.   I have had multiple, used containers in the past which were excellent with some amounts of rust.   Fortunately, I was able to find a reputable company who quoted me for an excellent used container and delivered as promised....for less money than you charged.   I am a previous business owner and know I can decline shipment of something that cannot be accepted due to quality.   At the national company I work for, if a product arrives that does not meet standard, we graciously either refund or ship an acceptable product within one day.   Your company hides behind your "language" rather than doing what is right, based on the communication I had with your salesperson.  Why else wouldn't I sign your contract if she hadn't noted it would be anything but excellent condition (with a small amount of rust).   The images clearly show water was getting into the container.   This is a you issue, not a me issue.   Poor business standards and response.   The customer is not a priority and I am happy to share this with anyone who askes and will continue to do so.

    USA Containers promised they would deliver a 40ft container with NO leaks, holes & it would be water-tight, which is documented in their paperwork, for safety reasons when delivered, we were told not to climb on the roof., advising they inspect ALL containers prior to delivery and assured it was watertight. It was also recommended we wash the salt off the container before use to remove any sea salt. When washing there was a significant amount of water coming in through the roof. We noticed a 3/4 inch hole, and a large 2.5 inch crack across the roof & corner of the container. We asked for a remedy. They sent us two useless plastic patches from Amazon!! We requested a new container, as it needed welding, not plastic patches, & they have REFUSED to collect or replace it unless we paid $525.00 to return it, & another delivery fee of $250.00. They have since REFUSED to discuss this further with us, so we threatened them with legal action. They have responded saying they will no longer communicate in their last email. I have emails documenting this. We are therefore left with a $2880 container that is rendered useless, & cannot use with leaks. They REFUSE to do anything to fix the situation. We have had a quote to fix the crack & hole, at approx $750 + by a local welder. USA Containers website shows five star reviews, however, there are many complaints on the internet, therefore, we believe the ratings are in fact, false. This is a very disturbing business practice, & we have threatened them with legal action, as under Texas law, we are entitled to receive the item in a usable condition & the goods and services which we purchased. it for. Of course we cannot. Our intention is to store our households goods while we build our new home. (As we paid with Zelle it is unlikely we can claim our money back). All we want is what we paid for, a 40ft container which is watertight as PROMISED. We are requesting a return & replacement at their cost which they refuse.

    I ordered a 40 Foot HC Wind and water tight from this company. From the start the service was poor and their selected Vendor had a lot of excused regarding delivery. Once delivered the driver dropped it got the doors open and got out of there. The doors do not open and close without being forced and this container is unusable in the poor condition it is in. This has been a disaster of a transaction I need to be able to open the doors and close them and lock them without need three people to get this done. I don't think they could have deliver a worse container if they tried. The driver needed help to just back up his truck to what is a ease drop off location. I want this container fixed so I can use it.

    I called the company and paid for a container on April 1 2024. I immediately had issues with delivery. Promising day after day then one excuse after another. I mainly talked to **** and she on recording promising me a green container. First one they brought to me was blue next was orange. I continued to wait for the right GREEN container. Which was again promised to me. After numerous attempts to resolve the issue they told me they were canceling my order and not giving me a refund. I have talked to several people in the company and still no positive resolution. Id like the ********************** that I ordered.

    January 16th 2024 I ordered a shipping container. during delivery the driver hit my house and messed up the gutter. No big deal accidents happen. The driver, and company are refusing to provide replacement gutter, or insurance information. I made A lot of calls, and text requesting resolution.

    Furthermore, our T&C specifies that the buyer is responsible for preparing the delivery site, ensuring there are no obstacles, mud, holes, or power cables in the way, and providing a clear area of at least 120 feet for unloading.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Over 150' of pretty much straight back. The driver should have cancelled the delivery if he didn't have the ability. Site prep was done. It went on a concrete and gravel pad. 

    The driver already lied to you guys once about the lock then vandalized my container to make up for it.

    Would you like to see the screenshots of me asking multiple times for delivery drivers company/insurance? Or even a manager.

    Your terms and services cover you on fences and such. But he hit my house. Ripped the gutter. As a person operating a vehicle you are 100 percent liable for hitting an unmovable object such as a house. 

     The damage is probably about $800. For a new gutter. I offered to get quotes from licensed and insured companies.

    On January of 2024 the 5th, I *********************** ordered two 40 foot containers from USA Containers, LLC. I promptly sent a cashiers check for payment in full. II was apprised that my 2 containers would be delivered by the 17th of January. On the 16th of January I received an e mail stating that there is a delay in the delivery and they would "get back to me ." Upon receipt of the e mail I immediately contacted USA Containers to apprise them that the containers need to be delivered as promised as we are building and sold a house. I was then apprised that the containers will be delivered on the 27th which COMPLETLY muffled our plans to be out of the house. As of today, February 15 2024 I still DO NOT have my containers. I have been apprised by USA Containers that I need to take it up with the delivery company. Completely UNACCEPTABLE !!I purchased product from USA Containers therefore my consumer responsibility is to communicate with whom I paid for product.USA Containers did overnight a cashiers check for an additional month of storage as we do NOT have our containers. The delivery driver brought the second container and dumped it in a ditch in the road. Apparently the driver had to pay a wrecker to pick it up. Again, NOT my responsibility. At this moment the 2nd container is sitting on another persons land.I have been told (via text) that USA Containers has done all they can and will do and I need to deal with the delivery company. This is blatant BAD business.I have every intention of bringing this to the news media as well. I greatly appreciate your help with this matter.

    Weather Impact:
    Our driver encountered challenging weather conditions during the delivery, and despite expressing concerns, proceeded as per your instructions to drop the containers.

    Stuck Delivery:
    Unfortunately, due to the adverse weather and wet conditions, the delivery vehicle encountered difficulty and required assistance from a tow truck.

    Tow Truck Costs:
    Regrettably, it appears there was a misunderstanding regarding the coverage of tow truck expenses, which contributed to the complexities in resolving the situation promptly. Tow truck expenses in case of our driver getting stuck on your property due to weather conditions as we need to be notified to postpone delivery are clearly stated in our T&C agreement upon purchase.

    Recommendation for Resolution:
    Moving forward, we recommend coordinating directly on your end with a tow company to facilitate the relocation of the container currently situated on another person's land.

    All in all, the units have been delivered at requested address present on the Invoice paid, even with the above events.     I purchased a sea container from them and when it was dropped Off it was told to me that it had been refurbished and I was shown on the inside where they had made leak repairs with caulk and what looks like “flex seal “ rubber spray paint. Also the main door has torn and missing weatherstripping and again this was “repaired” with some kind of grey goop and what looks like caulk. The bottom of the container where the main door closes has been hit by something and has some bent metal damage which makes closing and sealing the door very, very difficult, which is probably why the door seal was caulked and gooped to prevent moisture penetration. In the one reponse we received we were told that we would receive “a cool patch kit and $150 credit “ or we could switch containers if we agree to pay DOUBLE shipping fees. when we responded that that was unacceptable all communication from USA Containers has ceased.

    The Leaks Warranty offers coverage for any leaks/holes with industry approved patches free of charge, the patch and delivery of it to you, everything covered by the leaks warranty. As you might have already read in our T&C agreement, doors, seals, gaskets are not covered by the Warranty and should be thoroughly inspected at delivery time, before driver leaves. Even if these are not covered by the Warranty we have tried our best and offered some compensation back as well as other options in order to try and help over our leaks emails.

    On a different note, we do appreciate your business and we're still willing to try and work this out with you and hopefully make you happy. We'd like to present you a new option, as long as you're willing to wait for us to have an order close by as delivery costs would be expensive, we're willing to swap your unit for a different one, but please understand these are Used units, not new units so signs of usage like dents, scratches, rust are expected after they've been used for so many years in oversea shipping. If this would work for you, please let us know and let's communicate further afterwards over our leaks emails in order to facilitate the swap with our colleagues in Logistics.

    My son purchased the shipping container as a gift for me on 9/18/2023. We were guaranteed the container would be leak proof; however, upon delivery the driver could not open the doors before unloading the trailer as it was blocked by the gooseneck. He also would not unload it before having us sign for delivery. As soon as it was unloaded, we inspected it and there was a huge hole in the roof, and there had clearly been water intrusion in the flooring because the wood was warped and there was extensive rusting inside the unit. We immediately told him this was unacceptable and to take it back. He said he could not, but would immediately send an email with photos to the company for them to exchange it. We immediately emailed the company requesting an exchange. It took days for them to respond, despite having all the photos and video they requested. Their response was they would send a patch kit or issue a $50 refund. This is completely unacceptable. They advised in an email that the trucking company denied there were any leaks or holes. That is a downright lie by either the trucking company or USA Containers. We want the unit exchanged or a $1650 refund, as we are going to have to complete extensive repairs and change out the flooring, due to the water intrusion, costing us both money and our time. This is not a small hole, the ceiling is caved in as evidenced by photos.

    I am rejecting this response because: I spoke directly to Brandon M******* (truck driver). He told me he emailed USA Containers corporate office the day of delivery explaining the damage to container when it was unloaded. When I talked to Mr. M******* he also told me he called the corporate office to find out if they rectified the situation with us with the damaged container several days after delivery. I told him no and they assured him they did. I would be willing to do a 3-way conversion with the truck driver and BBB. I just don't think I should be incurring extra expenses for USA Containers/truck drivers neglect. Do you really think I want to pay storage unit fees if I had a container that was safe to store my belongings in?  Please take care of this matter!
