We recently had our cabinets refinished by Nhance. Though the quality of work was fine, our contacts with owner *************************** were as unprofessional as any I have experienced. The first and most prominent issue was pricing. After coming to our house to determine a price, I was told a ballpark figure that would be confirmed in an e-mail. I then received several days later a price that was a e-verified by me. Later in the job process after already providing the initial payment; to be followed by a percentage determined payment, I was informed of an amount that exceeded what I should owe. It was determined that the e-verified amount was a "mistake" and I owed a total of approximately $1,700.00 more than notified of. What ensued was an uncomfortable at best phone conversation in which ******************** refused to abide by the signed E-verify document. On top of refusing to honor a signed agreement we also on two occasions had ******************** promise a quick turn around on our cabinets with which his actual installation workers admitted was totally un-doable. Once promised to have our cabinets finished before Christmas, we went with our cabinet doors for just over a month. The last act of ******************** was an e-mail after we needed two mistakes in refinishing to be taken care of. We were told that someone would arrive within the hour one morning and no one showed. Evidently they just appeared hours late unannounced when we were gone. When I inquired about our fixes, ******************** stated in an e-mail that they did come by and no one was home and that we would be charged if someone wasn't there for the second scheduling. Our whole experience with Nhance was spoiled by one person in the company and unfortunately that was the man in charge.
