    Hello,There was some recent bad weather here in ** from Tropical ********************* which resulted in my roof leaking. After we had an estimator come out, he noticed that there were solar panels not flush with the roof leaving a gap as an access point for water to come through. There were also findings of parts of the roof where the installers had stepped and broken the integrity of the roof. The solar panel company was Sigora Solar and I just notified that they are completely out of business. I had a 10 year warranty that came with the installment and placement of the panels, but now I am not able to capitalize on that benefit. I know *********** Specialists picked up the customers from ********************, but they said they did not inherit the warranty for workmanship. I do not want to have to file a claim with my insurance and raise my premium, but I also need my roof fixed. I'm not sure if I am filing this complaint in the right department, but I am hoping to get my roof fixed or a portion of my balance left for the solar panels to be credited. Thank you

    Company signed paperwork and collected $12500 cash deposit for solar panels and a battery bank. October 2022. Company failed to install by June 2023. Loan was cancelled July 2023 but company never reimbursed my $12500 deposit.

    We signed a contract with Sigora Solar LLC in November of 2020 to purchase and install solar panels on our roof for a cost of $43,000. The installation involved securing panels to a *** flat roof and the customer service representatives assured us they understood how to do this correctly. However, as we found out, they punctured the *** roofing and simply applied some adhesive to seal the punctures. In February of 2023, the adhesive failed and we had a monumental roof leak. Weve had to contract with another solar company to remove the panels; hire a roofer to make the appropriate repairs; have the panels reinstalled; and are now having the interior repairs to the ceiling and walls in three rooms completed. We are over $17,000 out of pocket because the Sigora 10 year warrenty is worthless.

    Back in March 2022 Si hora Solar (now defunct) installed a Solar System from Generac. At first we had agreed on a different system but due to time constraints they could not deliver, so we settled for the Generac System. When the system got installed I complained that it's was clipping and not producing the promised amount to cover my full bill. I contacted them on May 15 2022, to let them know about the problem, they said they were going to run it through their technical support, but this never happened. I tried multiple times to get this sorted out but never got an answer to this problem and anytime something else came up I mentioned it, but they always were evasive. I now pay two bills one for the electric company and one for the loan of the system. This has hurt me financially.

    When our solar panel system was installed we were told by the representative that did the install that Sigora would remove and replace the solar panels in the future for FREE if we ever needed a roof replacement. I cannot get in contact with anyone currently and when I did in the past a person on the phone there said that they do not cover it for free. My roof is in need of replacement NOW and the solar panels need replacement. We had the the roof on the back side of the house replaced in 2023 but the front side needs replacement. The back side does not have solar panels on it but the front side does and a portion of my residence has a roof leak that needs replacement. We had our inverter replaced last year in 2023 after only having the system for a few years. I paid to have that replaced but was not expecting that after just a few years.

    We purchased solar panels from the company in 2020 for $35,000. We were told that the number of panels we got would meet our yearly electricity needs or they would cover the difference (it was a guarantee to assure us we wouldn't have to pay an electricity payment anymore). We've consistently had to pay our full electric bill for two or three months out of the year, and I asked them about the guarantee, but can't get a response.Additionally, we had a microconverter go out last year and I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone to fix it. They made promises that the panels would be warrantied for many years and they would come fix any issue. It seems now that that is all untrue.

    They damaged my roof and didn't know it tell this winter when we got snow. They never finished setting up my system properly. They never gave me a sticker page. The system keeps tripping *******. I would like all my problems fixed and them to pay for all my inconvenience. This system should cover more then half my electricity use. I now pay for 2 electric bills when I should only be paying for the system. So I would also like reimbursed for all passed bills and the system to be payed for.

    Contract for solar panel started Apr/May 2023. Panels installed and functioning by July 2023.The monthly bill to Sigora, to provide power from the panels, apparently to a 3rd party, has been discontinued due to Sigora filling bankrupcy.Since the panels worked for a month...How/Whom do we contact to resume befitting from the panels?Electric bills are high, plus the added costs of installation loan without beneit of panels is impacting to us.Is it possible that you can provide direction to resolve this?Thank you. ***** & ******************************We are both authorized to speak on the matter.
