I've been to the Virginia Beach location three times. "Dolly" is delightful and does her best to sell the services. My previous two visits were uneventful, the last visit went beyond skin irritation and resulted in skin injury on two areas of my face after receiving a cheek, chin, and upper lip waxing. I went back the next day to show "Dolly" the affected areas, she simply stated "oh that's too bad." She didn't offer an apology or anything. Now, my face has scabs, welts, and major redness. I thought I'd found a place to handle my facial waxing, I guess I'll have to keep looking. To all who may go, just be careful, one pull of that strip can remove more than just hair.

First of all many thanks for trying our services. It was a bit unfortunate to hear that we were not able to satisfy you completely. So I spoke with Dolly today regarding what happened during your session at our Virginia Beach store location. She is extremely sorry for how your facial skin reacted to the waxing process. Dolly was very apologetic & sorry for what happened, it's just that English is not her first language & its hard for her to express her feelings using English words clearly but she explained to me clearly she felt very bad to see the outcome. She is also one of our most trained & experienced staff members. She has done thousands of waxing services in her career of 35+ years in this field. After discussing details with her in length, we believe that your facial skin must be very sensitive to the waxing process, Redness is a natural reaction after the waxing process but it usually goes away after 2 days or so. Also there could be a number of other factors involved like nowadays many people had to put masks on their faces due to pandemic & skin does not get to breathe properly & gets dry or oily quickly depending on skin type & pores on facial skin is different from pores on other parts of body. Not considering pH levels of skin can have serious reactions to facial skin. Like for example my personal facial skin type is dry naturally & it feels very different after shaving etc. I get my back waxed but I noticed if I do it a little late, I get more prone to redness etc. Anyways we really are sorry for what happened again & here's what we will propose. We would like to offer you a FREE Service for your next waxing visit. Also we suggest that you try Threading on facial hair instead of waxing as your skin might be sensitive to waxing. Please schedule an appointment with Dolly or Tripty (our most trained wax techs) & they will take good care of you.
