on 4/19/2022 we took our truck to Hall for a scheduled 1:30 appointment to have a glow plug replaced. We checked in at 1:15. The service tech said they would call us after they looked at the truck. We informed him that we would be waiting in the customer lounge. 3 hours later we went and asked the status of the truck. One of the serivce advisors said he would check and come tell us. 30 minutes later we had not heard anything back. We went over to check again, and the tech that was supposed to be checking was just hanging out talking and looking on phone with 3 other techs just standing around. We were then told that the truck had not been looked at and they were closing in 45 minutes and could not be looked at and we would have to come back. I explained that we drove 2 hours from NC to this specific dealership because they have a diesel mechanic and we are covered under warranty. I also explained that to get to and from this dealership it cost approximately **** for the diesel at ***** a gallon. I asked for a loaner or a rental and they siad they could not help. I would have to come back another time. I asked who would pay for my fuel. NO answer. The Service Manager said it was TOTALLY the fault of the dealership but did not offer any resolution. We took our vehicle and due to traffic, accidents etc, and because of the time of day, it took us over 3 hours to make it home. Servce should have notified us within 30 minutes if they could not get to us that day. Service Manager said had been seriously backed up all day, so they were aware. Also they did not even have the diesel mechanic available. They let us sit in their waiting room for over 3 hours and the only way we found out is because we inquired. They probably would have closed down without ever telling us and left us sitting there!
