1 starI am strongly disappointed in the way this dealership navigates their as is vehicles. I was unaware that this was an as is vehicle prior to meeting with them. It was not displayed on their advertisement and was not disclosed during our chatting prior to my 2 hour drive out there. The vehicle was not cleaned and had no evident maintenance efforts.I asked several people in the office if they could give me some information but they told me they dont do anything beyond an inspection check and oil change due to the age and mileage.. but I question that more now after learning they failed to do the oil change on this one. I didnt expect anything extravagant as I knew my budget was limited. I should have turned around and walked right out that front door. That was my mistake. Above all else, its very disheartening that there is no way they werent aware of this cars issues. They watched me drive off, knowing I had my small, medically fragile child in the backseat that was dependent on this transaction as this was all I had to transport my child to and from hospitals and appointments.Less than a week later, I learned the entire emissions system was failing, failing catalytic converter, evap system, malfunctioning fuel tank, and a dying battery. I now have a vehicle that doesnt run at all and no possible solution. Ive lost my faith in humanity after this experience.Haley Auto Mall of Farmville Inc

We are sorry you are having troubles with the vehicle you purchased from us. All the vehicles on our Budget Line are sold AS IS. These are vehicles that we schedule for sale at auction due to age, mileage, or overall condition. Prior to sending them to auction, we offer them to the general public at an extremely reduced price. Most all of them do require some type of additional mechanical repair but based on the reduced price, the repairs can sometimes still be performed and keep the overall pricing below market value.All of these vehicles have a bright green hang tag hanging from the rear view mirror explaining this. As an added layer of protection for the consumers, we require this hangtag to be signed by any prospective buyer. Also, to ensure the buyer understands EXACTLY what they are buying before financing the purchase, we require the buyer to handwrite and sign another document that is printed on bright red paper that explains exactly what type of condition these vehicles are in. Both of these forms are in addition to the required *** Buyers Guide that is required by law. We require these forms on our own to keep situations like this from happening. We have reviewed your paperwork and all of those documents are in your paperwork. Copies of each have been sent to the customer.We also included a copy of the service repair order for this vehicle. The customer can see on it that all we did on this vehicle was a Virginia State Inspection and an oil change and a quick rinse off. We did not do any type of diagnostic work on the Check Engine Light so we did not know what the light was on for. We simply knew what the customer knew; that the Check Engine Light was on.All that said, we don't want any of our customers upset with their purchase. We have offered to assist this customer in getting this vehicle repaired and also offered to take this vehicle in on trade for a different vehicle for the FULL PURCHASE PRICE of the vehicle itself.Review fromWalter W

1 starThese so-called friends sold us a 2019 **** Fusion. I had a flat tire and turns out the dealership had removed the spare and the tire tools and never said anything about it. That should be a part of the vehicle if the manufacturer put it in there.Haley Auto Mall of Farmville Inc

1 starThey pull the 'bait and switch'. Twice I have presented coupons for services and twice I was denied. The first time I was told my car needed a different type of oil and offered to pay the difference, but was denied, Today I was told my coupon was only good for service on a Toyota, We never owned a Toyota, so why send me coupons for a vehicle I don't own?Review fromDanyan W

I'm sorry your parts are taking so long to arrive. We have no control over the parts availability. The parts needed to perform your repair come to us from ****. We have reached out to **** directly to try to get these parts quicker but the vendor that supplies these parts to **** is having trouble producing them. They are on a national backorder. We have attempted to find the parts at other dealers but no one has any in stock. I'm sorry for your delay but this is something that is outside of our control. 5 starsThe customer service my husband and I received was above and beyond. I had been looking online at multiple dealerships and Haley had the best price on my top choice vehicle. We went on a Friday at 6pm to look at the vehicle and talk numbers on my trade-in. Haley gave me more than any other dealer had offered for my trade and got me right where I wanted to be with my monthly payment on a my new vehicle. ****, the salesman who helped us answered every question, stayed after hours, and ensured that everything went smoothly with the finance side of things. I can't say enough good things about Haley, this is the 3rd vehicle my husband and I have purchased from them and we will continue to be loyal to the Haley group as they have always treated us fairly and have the best price around.Review fromWilliam T

1 starI took my 2007 ***** Silverado to get the airbag replaced for a factory recall. I was told if they broke my - They would not replace it since they've changed my airbag. I'm having a problem with my engine starting. I called them and they said it was just a coincidence. That something's going on with the security system. I told them the light was not working on the dash and it was before they did The airbag I have called and left messages.No one seems to want to return my calls.I'm not saying they Deliberately messed my truck But my truck was running fine until the Airbag got changed Now.My truck has a Starting And they will not help me With this issue , I know it has to be something that was done while Was being changed i'm not a dummy It's not a Coincidence that my truck was running great Until I got the airbag changed and now i'm having a problem with my truck starting They need to fix this problem or at least What is going on? When I ask the service manager What could be done?He said it could cost thousands of dollars to fix it I did not break my truck. I should not have to pay that kind of money All I want them to do is look and make sure that they didn't unhook something by accident When you call over there they treat you like you are bothering themHaley Auto Mall of Farmville Inc

1 starHaley in Farmville very likely missed out on a sale today. I am 79 and my husband recently suffered a stroke rendering him unable to drive at this time. I need a smaller car to feel comfortable (our new current vehicle is a 2024 Jeep Summit) doing all the driving time doctors, etc. The salesman was not accommodating in any way! 1 starMy parents are elderly. My father is 88 and mother 85. I believe their age recently has made them victim to senior financial exploitation. They will argue against this point. It is always difficult to admit when youve been "taken advantage of" especially when you trust a person assisting you.Back story:A light came on the vehicle's dash, indicating a brake issue on my parent's truck. There was no apparent problem, the truck drove fine, but they felt they should bring it in to be investigated/turned off/fixed, whatever was necessary.They went to Haley Auto **** ****** in Farmville, ******** on a Thursday, waited almost 2 hours while their vehicle was checked-out. They were told that the complete brake system had to be replaced along with a few other issues, totaling almost $10k to fix.Clearly this was upsetting, and they were advised they should NOT drive the vehicle (very dangerous). At this point they were told Haley **** would take the vehicle off their hands.The Vehicle was sold for $15K. The vehicle was in very good condition, had a very low mileage (less than 35k miles) and is one of the top selling trucks in the ***.A complimentary ride was provided for my parents back to their home.The following Monday the truck was on the market for over $30K.I am very upset that my parents were taken advantage of, so are many other family members and friends. If nothing else, I hope others can be warned and assist their elderly parents/friends while dealing with this type of business.************Haley Auto Mall of Farmville Inc

We are very sorry you feel this way about your parents interaction with our store. Our original intention was to fix the problems we found with this vehicle and list it for sale on our lot. That is why you saw it briefly listed on our online inventory. However, once we dug into it, the problems with this vehicle were even more extensive that we originally thought. We ultimately decided this truck would not pass Haley's internal inspection processes and pulled this vehicle from our inventory. Because of these problems, we were not able to sell this vehicle retail and instead sent it to wholesale auction for salvage parts.Review fromJennifer J

1 starMy husband took our truck to Haley because it is the only certified ************ center in Farmville. We had the engine replaced. An estimate was given. I understand it was an estimate, but every time we spoke to them the price went up and the final price was thousands of dollars more than the estimate. And they used the old coil packs and spark plugs in the new engine. I wasn't happy but we paid it. Then of course the transmission went. By this time we had a warranty on it so we had to go to Haley. They charged us an extra $1000 on top of the warranty company payment. We paid it. Then the truck was still not right so we took it back. Intake manifold gasket and runner control valve needed to be replaced. They gave us an estimate of $1600+ . We took the estimate to several other mechanics in town to see if that was justifiable. None of them could justify the price they were charging us. I researched the prices for parts which total $150. Labor to do the job should only be at most $500. So for a job that should not cost more than $700 they are charging us $1700. Whenever we question them on the price, they always have so sort of explanation and ignore our complaint.
