    I read so many good reviews about the place and decided to book an appt. Was highly disappointed. Prior to my appt they called me back to back over 10 times where I had to call and advise someone was calling me everyday. I was told I would not receive anymore calls until the day of my appt from ***** whom was set to come out. The day of my appt I waited due to scheduling around my appt which was supposed to be at 1:00 pm. Around 1:15 pm I called the number to get an ETA and at that point was told the person that was due to come out called out and is not at work. I was floored asking all the unnecessary calls I received no one could call and tell me no one would be out and to either have someone else come or reschedule. I was not given an apology or anything just an oh well. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Upon reading the reviews and website I thought this place would be a good place to do business with but I sure was fooled.

    Heavy pressure, and scare tactics. Won't seal your house unless you put out poisonous station, not traps. Meaning a sick mouse can go back out into the environment and make a cat, dog, hawk, owl, raccoon or snake sick by eating it. These people did a little bit of sealing and cost me over 1200. I used the bait stations for one week and had to pay well over 300 dollars to stop the service and they charged me for the whole month even though just a week, no pro-rating. No thanks. A rip off and unsafe for the environment.

    You know what I love about tens of THOUSANDS of dollars in squirrel and wildlife damage? Nothing. You know what I love about ********************* at Xceptional Wildlife Removal? EVERYTHING! Let's be honest, the stress and insanity of having MULTIPLE animals destroy your newly purchased but severely neglected home is the worst. I spent thousands of dollars trying to deter and eliminate squirrels, birds, and every animal imaginable from this home because generally when you call someone to set traps, you have to then call a contractor ANYWAY to perform the necessary exclusions, repairs, and wildlife-proofing. By the time I called *****, I was desperate! He came early to our appointment, he was personable, professional, and WONDERFUL! There was so much damage to this home, I literally had the longest (and one of the most expensive) quotes ***** had had in a looooong time. But you know what? The fact that he was so knowledgeable, explanatory, and downright enthusiastic about animal-proofing my home got ME excited! I have never in my life been more motivated to give someone all my money! If you need an animal control EXPERT, a company that can actually DO the recommended repairs and exclusion work, AND a wildlife expert who educates you and gets YOU excited about wildlife habits, then CALL ********************* AT XCEPTIONAL! His customer service is immediate and phenomenal, his crews have been here EVERY time they said they would, and I'm on the path to being squirrel and mosquito-free! Xceptional rid my home of vermin, repaired every open entrypoint and hole, and they return monthly for my mosquito treatments (Why do EYE have the blood they love?! Why, God, WHY?!?!) and pest control (silverfish and ants: you do NOT pay this mortgage!)! Get animals out of your home and get ********************* IN your home! You won't regret it, folx!

    Would never use again and would not recommend to anyone, there are much better companies out there. Initial visit was great, the sales rep sounded like he knew what he was talking about, we signed and paid after his first visit and quote. We had multiple contractors come and do work, Xceptional would schedule visits and tell me I didn't need to be home but then the contractor would all me and aske to get into the house. the largest/longest contractor came out to remove all insulation/ sanitize and was EXTREMILY unprofessional, didn't want to do the work and spend more time sitting in his truck (that was covered in spray paint) than he did working. When we complained about this worked we were informed that they have had problems with this individual. I don't understand why they would continue to use someone they have problems with? They broke our screen and it took 3 months and a lot of calls to even get a replacement. When I am paying this kind of money I would expect professionalism, and good work. Neither were what we got.

    Employee left live animals in traps thrown in the back of his truck for 20+ hours with no access to food or water. Traps left outside/uncovered overnight with rain throughout night. Animals clearly slowly losing life. Reviewer reached out to company to inquire about policy of 'ethical' treatment of animals. Many photos available and sent to business to further understand their practices. Per their website.

    We had rodent and snake problem. The sales associate REPEATEDLY informed us that there was no penalty or fee for cancellation. We were not willing to sign the contract for recurring monthly services but he assured us and even stated in the Estimate "Customer may cancel it anytime with no additional fees or penalties". Within 10 days of the visit, we called the company and informed them that we did not want to pursue with their services. The sales associate called and said he would come and pick up the rodent control boxes right away. We told him that since we already paid for the initial service, to leave them for four weeks to which he agreed. Now we have received an invoice for $255 for early termination fees. When we called the company, they said the local representative will call us. They did not call us and are not responding to our phone calls. We are told that the early termination fee is in the contract. However, the cover sheet with the contract clearly stated no penalty as quoted above. They are clearly misleading customers to sign recurring services. We took the representative's reassurance at face value and believed him when he showed us the above no penalty quote in his estimate. He then proceeded to have us electronically sign his tablet and REPEATEDLY assured us that we could cancel anytime. Therefore, we are not willing to pay this bill that was fraudulently charged to us.     Awful company. Their customer service is non-existent. I had a bat problem. Their tech left my attic window open after one of their service sessions and it caused a wasp infestation. They claimed that they had to custom order chimney caps for my chimneys And I heard nothing from them for 9 months. When they came out to finally install them, they were measured incorrectly. Miraculously the replacements came in only 2 weeks. (2 weeks!) When this was brought up to the office manager, he got angry that I was angry. When speaking to their corporate headquarters, I was told that I had paid everything off in October of 2021. Now, they claim I owe them an additional $1,700.00! Xceptional doesn't care about all the problems they've caused, the have called twice now and threatened to send me to collections. Never do business with this company.
