My car loan is a little high and to make me feel better I like to split my payments in half so I can have money for other bills I like to pay half of my amount 2 -3 weeks ahead of my due date and pay the remaining amount on the due date But I called and they informed me that they don't have that as an option But there is a an option to pay more money and it doesn't apply it to the principal amount I've had experiences with other banks and they have always had the option to split payments in half

I paid off my account off on January 22, 2025 with the agency in which they sent my account too. After paying the negotiated balance off. c&F reported in my credit report that the account was charged off for the full balance owed which was incorrect. The balance was paid in full to *************** the company in which held my account. I gave them 7 days to correct the problem and report correctly it I am filing a formal lawsuit.

Please see the attached document for C&F's response to the customer's concerns.

The C&F ******************************************* Compliance Manager completed an investigation and has
      found the following:
On October 15, 2022, you entered into a retail installment sales contract
      (RISC) for the purchase of a 2018 ***** CX-9 (VIN: *****************)
(the vehicle). The original term of the contract was 84 months with a first
due date of November 29, 2022, and a monthly payment of $649.42.
Following the total loss of your vehicle in January 2024, and the application of
proceeds from your insurance and GAP Administrator, a balance of $1,664.70
remained on your account. GAP Waivers do not cover late payments,
extensions, or other associated fees and interest.
On March 25, 2024, we agreed to a total loss modification of your RISC, which
lowered your monthly payment to $227.00. You made one modified payment
on March 29, 2024. Due to non-payment, your account charged off and was
placed with an agency to collect on our behalf. That agency accepted a
$934.50 settlement payment to satisfy your account. That settlement will be
reflected on your account when we receive the funds from the agency.

Vehicle is co owned with myself and ***********************. Starting with 1st payment made that was made way before due date I was harassed for 2 weeks about the payment I made moneygram next day payment 14 days later they did put it back to the date I paid but in the meantime calls MANY times a day. They've ran my credit card and checking account under ***** s name and I have documentation to prove this resulting in denial and extras fees and late payments. I've reach out to them in attempts to get them to work with us. I'm told 1 thing on the phone and they re smart ***,s, rude and unprofessional even in email. Today I sent them a confirmation number and I got a reply they haven't gotten the payment and they're going to repossess the vehicle. I asked if a loan forebearance is possible on a recorded call 2 times I've been advised as a Virginia resident that I could ask for a payment deferred 2x a year or every 6 months I just have to pay a 50 fee. I further explained that ***** had a heart attack and strokes resulting in me having to pay all bills. I get they want their $ and I owe ******* and February payments February came due on the 4th. I try to communicate via email so I have a written record for myself and I get different responses on the phone and via calls along with attitudes and threats. So I can Make a Payment on 2/18 and No I've not been able to keep up with all arrangements I've made so I further understand their reluctantly to work with me. ***** makes no payments on this so he just signed so I'm contacting you and I've also contacted an attorney because as I stated payments I've made next day payment they say that they don't get em so he's informed me to attempt to go this route and if it's repossess and me having proof of payment we will continue with legal action due to evidence we've obtained via emails, phone calls, payments

I currently have a boat loan through C&F Finance, and C&F Finance Loan Servicing does not allow the option to pay additional principal. When I have made payments above the minimum due, they have set the additional principle amount aside for the next month's payment and waited to apply it to my loan until the next due date (and did not take my automatic payment the next month). My additional principle payment was not applied to the loan until the next month as the minimum payment, which means C&F could invest my money for a month while I pay interest on the principle amount of the loan that should have been paid off. Why isn't my payment applied to the loan when it is received. I am currently paying the same amount of principle each month as I am interest, and would like the option to pay it down faster with principle only payments, and this option should be available online as to how I'd like to apply the payment.

There is an auto account that was paid off in full 08.04.2019 due to total loss. During that time, this company has stated I have interest fees that are due. This account is no longer in collections and is updated as CLOSED on my account but this agencys has been reporting late payments to the credit bureaus up until ******. Under the US 15 USC code ****-S 2 ACT, this is illegal and is a tarnish to my credit.

I drove 5 hours one way to buy a truck at **************** in *******, ******* on October 9, 2023. Because it was Columbus Day and all the banks were closed, the only financing available was through C&F Financing Company. I traded in my truck ($13K) and put an additional $5K down. The truck I purchased from **************** was $52K minus the $18K, leaving $41K to be financed (tax, tag, title, etc.). I just received an Adverse Action Notice from C&F Financing Company stating that they were denying my application for Value Or Type Of Collateral Not Sufficient, BUT they can offer you [me] credit on terms different than those proposed. If Value Or Type Of Collateral Not Sufficient, isnt sufficient, what makes it sufficient at different terms? By the way, my credit is stellar even C&F Financing Company cant dispute that. I feel that C&F Financing Company practices predatory loan/bait-n-switch tactics because, at this point, I cant undo the deal. My truck that I traded in is already long gone, and C&F Financing Company and/or **************** knows that. BUYER BEWARE when financing through C&F Financing Company, what you sign is NOT what you get. This is illegal.
