    Summary: SESCOS caused damage to our property and refused our request for compensation. On 26 February 2022 we had a seasonal inspection of our heating unit and a visual inspection of our air conditioning unit as part of our annual service plan with a separate company, ******** ********. At the time, while ******** ******** noted that our unit was aging, no damage was observed to our unit, to include the drain pipe and pan in the attic. SESCOS subsequently came out to rewire our house during the first two weeks of March 2022. The crew made a complete mess of our attic, with complete disregard for our belongings. At the time, we were only aware of some broken personal items, and the indifference with which our possessions had been treated. We immediately sent photographs of the situation. 02 August 2022, ******** ******** again came out for the seasonal inspection of our A/C unit. When they went into the attic, they discovered that the drain pipe for the unit had been completely snapped at the air handler, which could not have happened without significant external pressure being applied to the PVC (such as someone hitting it/dropping something on it). Because of the location of the wiring in relation to the pipe it is clear that the crew was working in this area during the rewiring process. The condensation from the A/C, rather than draining through the now-broken pipe, has been sitting in the pan for several months, completely rusting the pan. Because of the age of the unit, compatible parts for the air handler are no longer available, and therefore the entire unit needs to be replaced before water damage occurs. We would not have needed to consider this replacement, or repairs, if not for the damage done by SESCOS' crew. We sought compensation from SESCOS for the damages but they state the project was completed 6 months ago, and that their employees stated they damaged nothing (despite photographic evidence to the contrary).

    Summary: While the electrical work, itself, was acceptable, the company's crew caused damage to our property and refused to accept responsibility or compensation. In late February, 2022 we had a seasonal inspection of our heating unit and a visual inspection of our air conditioning unit as part of our annual service plan with an A/C and heating company. At the time, they noted noted that our unit was aging, no damage was observed to our unit, to include the air handler in our attic. SESCOS subsequently came out to rewire our house during the first two weeks of March 2022; the crew made a complete mess of our attic, with complete disregard for our belongings. At the time, we were only aware of some broken items, exposed wires, and the indifference with which our possessions had been treated. We sent photographs and immediately contacted the company about the abysmal state of our attic. However, in early August, our A/C company again came out for the seasonal inspection of our A/C unit. When they went into the attic, they discovered that the drain pipe for the unit had been completely snapped at the air handler, which could not have happened without significant external pressure being applied to the PVC (such as an employee hitting it/dropping something on it). Based on the location of the wiring in relation to the pipe, SESCOS employees clearly were working in that area during the rewiring process. However, when we sought compensation from SESCOS, they said we had no proof that their crew was responsible, and would not provide us with recompense.

    As we Explained to Mrs. T******** her Project was Completed in Good standing over 6 Months ago. The Job was walked and agreed the Customer was satisfied. They now have an issue in their attic 6 Months later and sought to lay the Responsibility on Southern Electric. Our Crews did no work on HVAC nor did we damage anything in the attic, we Completed our Electrical work, and Got it inspected and Approved per County standards.
