I purchased a GAP insurance contract through Auto Member when I purchased my vehicle from Auto Member on May 30th, 2020. I am eligible for a partial refund of my GAP insurance policy since I paid my car off early. I called and emailed a woman name ******* at Auto Member on May 18th, 2023 to inquire about how to cancel my contract and obtain a refund. ******* referred me to *******, the claims processor. When I called *******, a representative referred me back to Auto Member. I called ******* back and a representative showed me how to obtain a policy cancelation form from their website. The representative explained that the form would require a signature from someone at Auto Member. I emailed the completed policy cancellation request form to ******* at Auto Member on May 19th, 2023 to obtain the dealer's signature and to have the request processed. I called ******* twice in May and once in June to get an update on my request. ******* stated that someone named ***** would contact me but he never did. On another occasion, ******* said my request was being processed and that I should receive a check within 10 business days. However, I still have not received a check and it's been over 20 business days.
