    I originally contacted Carmart & requested information on 5/24/2023 & spoke to *****. I had contacted him over the phone & periodically would text for other information. I had asked simple questions regarding the vehicle (2020 ***** *** ******) such as the condition of the vehicle (since I wasn't able to see it in person), & any major issues or concerns that I'm not able to see on the website or noted in ****** (****** noted 1 owner with no accident reported). ***** verbally responds, " car is great & everything works & drives fine." I was assuming that this dealership made some attempt to exam the car & note and issues on the webpage. This was not the case. During the initial stage of communicating, I had noted to ***** that I would be driving the vehicle back vs having the vehicle shipped to me. In addition, I asked if it would be at all possible if he could pick me up from the airport (Note: there are 2 airports nearby 1. ****** which is about 20 min and 2. ****** which is about 45 min), ***** texts "sounds good." I asked if there was anything that would prevent me from making the 12+ hour (800+ miles) or anything that should be of concern driving the vehicle. Again, ***** verbally responds " car is good." I tried my best to be as thorough and concise with messages so there was no miscommunication. Had *************** and understood my messages, I would've completely changed flight and time. Instead, I message him as I'm about to take off & let him know that my flight should arrive around 11:30AM. He responds with the address to the dealership and notes he is not going to pick me up, I thought it was a joke but he completely disregarded my time and message. Frustrated as I was, I still made it to the dealership. Once I got there and filled paperwork is where the start of all problems began. The vehicle was damaged to the front & repainted. Unfortunately, I'm running out of space to continue explaining about ***** & haven't began with the vehicle. I can explain more.

    Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with this dealership. My salesman Hakim K****** (aka Jimmy) was the most dishonest and unlawfu salesperson to deal with. It starts with the initial phone call, we had discussed pricing and overall condition of the vehicle. I’m he understood that I was going to be driving the vehicle back home which was about 800+ miles back home and I needed to know if there was anything that the vehicle needed before the long drive. He stated “yes” and “everything is fine” to and and every question I asked. This was not the case. I asked for simple tasks to make this transaction as smooth as possible but Hakim disregarded everything we agreed upon and completely ignored our discussion and agreements. This yes man had wasted time, money, and efforts and simply was looking for an easy sale. In addition to all the little damages and false claims that this car was taken care of, it finally came down to paperwork. As I got home I noticed he had switched numbers at the end of the sales agreement and ended up charging me more than what we had agreed upon. All these conversations were held verbally and most through text messages with proof of conversation. Even with text and screenshots of him agreeing, he still managed to disregard/ignore our agreements and made me complete last minute changes that could’ve been avoided had “Jimmy” read his messages. The goal here is to return the vehicle for full amount plus the amount I had to spend flying and taking Uber there along with tolls. If no action is taken (which most likely will not), paperwork is ready to process for litigation. Hopefully we can come to conclusion soon. Otherwise paperwork will be submitted and will cost them much more.
