    If I could give this company no stars I would! I submitted multiple tickets to customer support over the course of a year because someone fraudulently used my account to obtain unemployment benefits in another state. I assume it was the person that helped me create the account or an ID me representative. ID me suspended the account and I have been trying to get it reinstated. I recently lost my job and need to file unemployment and I can’t because ID me will not un-suspend or delete the account and allow me to make a new one. I feel like I am being punished for someone else’s crime even though I did my due diligence by contacting ID me as soon as I suspected the person was logging into my account. ID me is offering no support and I can’t find a way to contact a real person! This is ridiculous and frustrating!! I do not understand why the government chose to use a third party app to handle something so sensitive. I even went to the unemployment office to try to manually file a claim and they told me I have to use ID me even though I was standing directly in front of them with proof of my identity. This is horrible! As US citizens, this has to be a violation of my rights and I am going to work my butt off to figure out which one so that I can pursue this company legally as well as the government! No way I should have to submit personal documents to a third party vendor! For all I know someone from this company used my information to obtain fraudulent benefits! Hopefully I don’t run out of my savings before this problem is resolved!

    Absolutely INSANE !!! Trying to verify my ID for State unemployment. I have submitted 6 Documents. To prove my ID... My SS Card has a coffee stain on it. They wont accept it because of that. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional and can not get thru this web site.
    The Unemployment Dept already Knows where I work, My Employers Ph #, My Employers address, My Address, My SS number, my Birth date, My Home address, My phone number, My Email address and EXACTLY how much I earn. One of the Eligible Documents that is accepted is a Medical Insurance Card. So now they know what kind of medical insurance I have. Total invasion of privacy.
    This is the state of Oregon Screwing the working ppl. This site has to many restrictions. What about the Ppl that are not computer literate. My thoughts are The State of Oregon will have so many Ppl give up on this ID Verification that the state will get to keep the money that is owed to workers. Oregon Unemployment should be making the process easier not more complicated to collect state benefits that are owed. This just shows how corrupt our government is. Total disgrace to the Ppl of Oregon

    I am infuriated that applying for unemployment benefits requires one more level of bureaucratic nonsense. I have used ID.me for getting discounts as a teacher -- that seemed to function well. But the idea that this service is supposed to add security or a level of verification to a public service is disgraceful --- especially when the website doesn't function properly and the help center is unhelpful and is run by a robot!?
    I have been waiting for 4 months to receive unemployment benefits after being laid off with a large portion of my prior company. The NY Dept of Labor says that it's an issue with ID.me but from what I can tell, my information has been verified. But I can't get any help from ID.me either in a trully Kafka-esque nightmare.

    Ridiculous demands for all the information that someone could steal your ID with. Simpler, more secure, more effective ways to verify your identification exist and have for many years. Why does IRS waste our taxpayer monies on this? Some of the state tax services are much easier to access online and in person. This is just another way for the IRS to keep your money and avoid helping you.
