I emailed this company to please remove my info off their site. It has not been done. They try to charge you for immediate removal. No other company requires you to pay to opt out of having your info available online.Business Response

The website charges customers who wish to remove their personal information from its site. There is no clear cut option to get the desired results without having to pay as mentioned by the customer relations team- that there is no link for free removal. The only option I see is that I need to pay to remove my information. Can someone from their team tell me how to get the desired results for FREE. Message for help@ 411.info.com team - I am unable to find an option to remove my personal information from your site without being charged. I have emailed [email protected] as well. The 411.info webpage is using my private information which I do not agree or consent. This webpage provide my cells number and my name and location address which make easy for anyone to contact me. I do received numerous of calls. I do suffer from PTSD and the type of business make worse and stressful. Periodically I check to make sure my name, address, phone number are not listed. My husband and I have an unlisted landline number. I've been a victim of stalking and don't want my information or my husband's out there. This company has my name, address and phone number listed along with my husband *************************. I asked them to remove it and they require $2.95 for each account to do this. This is wrong and this business should not be allowed to extort money from vulnerable people. 411.info is running an illegal online business asking $2.99 for removal of individual's name and address. This is violation of California CCPA. They can not extort individuals for public information to be removed. Individual living in California have rights where laws protect release of individual's privacy. California consumers can request a business delete their personal information under California’s new privacy law beginning January 1, 2020. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), businesses will have 45 days to comply with the request. They will also need to disclose to consumers the availability of the deletion right in their privacy policy. The “Right to Deletion Under CCPA” mandates that if a consumer makes a verified request to the business to delete his or her personal data, the business is legally required to delete the requestor’s personal information from all of its data stores and direct any service providers to delete the personal data as well.Business Response
