    I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Hyman **** **** regarding their deceptive advertising practices related to car purchases.On May 29, 2024, I visited Hyman **** *** with the intention of purchasing a car based on the discounted prices advertised on their website. However, upon arriving at the dealership, I was informed by the staff that the prices advertised online were not valid and were merely a tactic to lure customers into the showroom. This practice was explicitly described to me by the dealership's staff as a "scam to just get you in the door."Despite my efforts to address this issue directly with the dealership both in person and via text message, they refused to honor the advertised prices. I expressed my concerns about the legality of such false advertising practices, but my objections were dismissed.This experience has left me feeling deceived and frustrated. As a consumer, I believe I have the right to trust that the prices advertised by a business are genuine and will be honored. The actions of Hyman **** *** constitute false advertising, which is both unethical and illegal.To resolve this matter, I am seeking the following:1. For Hyman **** *** to honor the prices advertised on their website and sell me the car at the price listed online.2. For Hyman **** *** to cease any deceptive advertising practices and ensure that all advertised prices are accurate and reflective of the actual sales prices.I would appreciate your assistance in addressing this matter promptly. Enclosed are copies of the advertisements from the Hyman **** *** website as well as screenshots of my communication with the dealership.Thank you for your attention to this issue.     Filing a formal complaint here as I never received a response form the Sales Manager at this location. My husband and I recently purchased a 2024 Nissan Rogue. At the time of purchase our Salesperson indicated we could bring the vehicle back within 30 days for a detail. He advised if we completed the purchase follow up survey we would receive a full tank of gas. Last Friday we dropped the vehicle off and upon picking it up this afternoon I was asked by *********** had completed the survey. I advised not yet. *** asked me to have my husband forward the survey so that we could receive the tank of gas. I called my husband who forwarded the survey right away. I thought *** would go fill the tank up while I completed the survey privately. This is not what occurred. I didn't realize in order to receive the full tank of gas *** was going to watch over my shoulder and confirm I gave him 10's on the questions in the survey. I think I was in complete shock at the time because now looking back I would have declined the tank of gas and completed the survey privately at home. A full tank of gas is not worth compromising my ethics. The situation made me feel uncomfortable as he watched me to ensure I was answering each question exactly as he wanted after I told him I did not need his assistance. He told me exactly what to mark for each question.I have to wonder, what is the point of a survey if the sales staff watches the customer complete it to ensure they receive 10's? It seems completely unethical to have this approach and quite frankly creepy. At the time of purchase last month, had we known we would have to give him all 10's on the survey for a tank of gas we never would have followed up on it. I left feeling confused, uncomfortable and frustrated over a simple survey. At the very least I would like the survey redacted and response from the manager. Next steps will be to email corporate. We will never purchase from this location again.
