  Capital One is a farce they are not a company based out of the United States all customer service is handled outside the country extremely unhelpful and if I can have any other credit card I would. Don't get a Capital One card they're just like everybody else High interest rates and horrible customer service!

  This company is ripping people off how do you make double what you owe every month -2 one day make a double payment every month then they say the next day you are - $3 this credit card company should be shut down they are taking people for a ride I dont even use the card havent in a year I will not even give them 1 star they need to be investigated.

  They freeze your card, so you call their fraud department. You tell them exactly what happened to caused the suspicious activity, and verify all the other charges. But they don't care that it's your only card, your only means of getting by, so they cancel it even after pleading with them not to. F*ck this company.

  Today I deposited a check from a 100 year old bank. I received an email from Capital One saying That after an in-depth investigation they fear that the check will not be paid . They are placing a longer hold on the funds due to this and I was instructed to call them about the check . I called the number in the email and got this person that was not a very good English speaking person and I could not understand a word he said. I finally asked him where he was located at and he told me **********. I had to go through 5 minutes of security and verifying who I was, which is good I will say, but they have in writing all on their website that as long as you are in the ** , but I make a call inquiring about a deposit and I get someone from **********. And they wonder how ************ accounts get hacked all the time. Can they not employ American people to handle accounts here in the ** ?? Shame on you Capital One. I have been with them for over 20 years but makes me want to change to a bank that only does business in my state.

  Set up a new account then 2 days later get a email saying account was being closed due to unusual account activity. Had ********************** deposit set up and now cant access my account to cancel the ********************** deposit. Asked for a supervisor and never got connected with one. They dont know what is going on with my account.

  Cars are financed much higher than actual market value, interest rates greatly exceed other finance groups and banks. Extremely poor customer service.

  The service with capital one is horrible, I called for help with my account and the guy was very rude. Asked to speak with manager and this guy had ice machine in background going off. Was awful to me when speaking and did nothing I asked. They overcharged my account multiple times and wouldnt fix it. Then I changed my payment information and called and gave them the new info they still took it out of my old saving account so it overdrew me then they shut down both cards I had with credit one after I paid the 1500 dollar payment. This is the worst credit card company anyone could possibly get. This is the worst experience *** had with any company. I cant believe the way I was treated on the phone multiple times I called and nobody will listen to you there awful. I have 4 credit cards and this one is by far the worst in the 30 years Ive had credit. Dont spend your hard earned money with these people. I promise its a scam from day 1

  Sure, the customer service isn't perfect. But there aren't any great alternatives, and their online web portal is amazing. Hopefully Capital One can address this in the future.

  I have been a faithful customer of ********************** since 2016. In 2022 I got a $500 cash advance. They read a disclosure in a disclaimer That says that the interest will start the day of the cash at ***** and will continue until the $500 or the amount of the cash advance is repaid in full. From 2022 after obtaining the $500 till 2025 I have paid faithfully I have paid above the minimum to do I sometimes make 2 payments monthly so I have paid the $500 back 3 times they are still caught of me and charge them with interest and the lady read the disclaimer disclosure over the phone to me today it also said the same thing it does not say that you will pay $500 back for the rest of your term and for all of the purchases that you have made on the card ever so it's does not say that But the lady on the phone said that you have to pay your insight The lady on the phone says you have to pay your entire balance for every purchase that you've ever made first and then they start taking money for the $500 cash advance that's not what the disclaimer says when they read it to you via phone so they are scammers this is a fraud and I have been repaying $500 since 2022 and I have paid **** 2000 3000 on my account since then the lady told me I can't escalate the call any told the lady that I would reach out to the Better Business Bureau and contact my local news station she could care less about losing a customer but I do want you all to know that Capital one is a fraud their disclaimer does not State that you have to pay your purchases back to its entirety before Capital 1 cash events of $500 has been repaid otherwise guess what the consumer wouldn't do the $500 cash event if they knew that from 22 to 25 they are still trying to pay $500 cash advance back when they pay over the minimum due monthly and have repayed that cash advanced by over $2000 Beware of getting a credit card with they are scammers they liand I have reached out to the CEO ******* ******** Capital One u scammers

  Terrible customer service with no conflict resolution or retention skills!! Been a customer for 8 yrs have both ********************** and a high yield savings account with them, and over the last year have had the worst experiences. First there was no protection with travel emergencies. I was one of thousands whose plans to see ****** ***** in ******* got canceled DUE TO TERRORISM ATTACKS clearly way beyond my control and capitol one, who I booked all my flights and hotels with, told me sorry nothing we can do to refund your rewards points because it is all booked through 3rd parties, did not offer any reimbursement or consolation, lost 50K+ points. 2nd occurrence was when I wanted to upgrade credit cards to their highest level despite being a phenomenal loyal customer they offered no incentive like a new customer. Did not get any bonus miles or waived yearly fee. Was told sorry only for new customers. They have no loyalty. Finally, and this one is on me because I was struggling with them anyway, against my better judgment I did apply as a new customer which now affects my ********************** reports, to their venture X card, immediately approved with a high limit. But was told my old credit card rewards points would be combined with the new card. So I closed the old card. Only to find out they do not combine. They need to be transferred and now that the account is closed there is nothing they can do. Only option was to redeem for cash at half value. Again did not offer any consolation, offer to apply anything to the new account. Was told if you called and spoke to a representative instead of doing it online it would have been made more clear to you. So I closed all my accounts including my savings account. They have absolutely 0 customer service or loyalty to someone who, not to sound arrogant, but is a high quality credit customer!!
