I want to start off by saying that I love this business concept and when this store first opened, my husband and I loved it. It's been a while since we went so I took my friend there just recently to show her the variety of snacks. When we walked in, it was not the same size or selection of snacks that they used to have. I got two bags of chips and a package of freeze dried skittles. One of the bags of chips said on the front it was 1.25 so I assumed it couldn't be more than $5.00. Nothing had price tags on them and so my friend and I assumed it would be a little bit of an upcharge. When we got to the register, I was shocked to see for my three items it was a whopping $27 and they asked for a tip even though we weren't even acknowledged. The bag of chips that was priced at 1.25 ended up being $10. My friend found peelable mango candy and it ended up being $7 or more. When she got home, she realized it was from ********* and and is actually priced at $1.99. To me, that is just scamming people and is unethical. I understand everyone is trying to make a business but when you are marking up products 670%, it becomes questionable.
