I went through The *********** ***** ******* through ******* ***** ****** ***** and leased a car through Elite Auto Connections Inc on 6/15/22. When I first saw the van it was priced at 8000 and he stated it was marked wrong and asked to upcharge it making it $9,632.55 and he did not include the warranty in the purchase. The next two days the car kept cutting off and wouldn’t start so I called him and he came out to jumpstart the car, It wouldn’t start the next day so I got a jump from a friend and took it to *** ******* across the street from him as he told me to so I can get a new battery under his credit with them, the following week I took it to 6/20/22 I took it to **** *** ***** and was told the sensor in the throttle body went out and it needed to be replaced so I replaced it, then the van kept stalling and wouldn’t accelerate so when I hit the gas it took off and sling shot me into traffic at more then 40 miles. I had it towed to ******* **** and towing the Monday before Thanksgiving and was called back the week after Thanksgiving on that Thursday and was told the transmission failed. I called the dealership and *** at the *********** ***** program and was advised there is nothing they can do, at that time I didn’t know the bank had gap insurance on the van and still made me pay out of pocket for my own insurance which made my premium high, I was advised to take out another loan to fix the transmission, So I asked to surrender the car since I made all my payments before time and I can’t afford a transmission for that car cause it cost over $3000 dollars and over a $1000 of labor since it’s a CBT transmission that is sealed and they have to remove parts just to get to it, I asked the bank to take back the car and was told it would be considered a repossession and the dealership will not take it back either, Now I’m stuck with a car that is not driveable.
