He asked him to do the work and hold the things for him. He told me their is moisture but could not tell me from where. He said the inducer not working. I asked him take out and check the voltage. After he took it out and cleaned it, the inducer was working. i did not trust the technician becuase he said one thing but it turned out the parts were working. He did the other test and showed me the watts but could not explain. He gave the verbal estimate for 5000 to change the 3 parts that were not be changed except one. i asked for written esimate. He said he going to send me the part and detials after he get back but never happend. We ware out of heat for 1 week and i called several time to All tech but no response. The wrong part going to be ordered since they send me wrong picture and I be out of heat for several months to day. I need AllTech to make things right by fixing the unit with the OEM part I ordered and waving all the change for the pain and suppering, being without heat for 3 weeks. I looking BBB to provide solution to get the company to do things right and remove their rating to 1 start.. Hi ******* I trust this message finds you well. We appreciate the opportunity to provide further clarity on the matter raised by **. ************** and elaborate on the estimates for the services rendered by AllTech.
Upon meticulous review of the details shared by **. ****** it has come to our attention that there might be a misunderstanding regarding the scope of service and the associated costs. Our dedicated team conducted a thorough assessment to furnish estimates reflective of the necessary components and labor required to ensure the optimal functioning of the furnace.
The estimates extended to **. ***** were itemized as follows:First Estimate (Under Warranty - Repair):
Motor Replacement: $670.00
Warranty Gas Valve (Labor Only): $865.00
HSI Ignitor Replacement: $548.00
Sub-Total: $2,083.00
Second Estimate (Inducer Motor and Gas Valve Igniter - Repair):
Inducer Motor Replacement: $1,065.00
Gas Control Valve Replacement: $1,452.00
HSI Ignitor Replacement: $548.00
Sub-Total: $3,065.00
Third Estimate (Gas Valve Replacement):
Gas Control Valve Replacement: $1,013.00
Sub-Total: $1,013.00
While we respect **. ******* decision to choose an alternative service provider at a more economical rate, it's imperative to underscore that the estimates from AllTech were meticulously crafted to account for the specific demands of the job, encompassing essential component replacements and associated labor expenses.
Despite our unwavering commitment to transparency and customer satisfaction, we find it necessary to communicate that we are not willing to cover the cost of the alternative service **. ***** has chosen. We respect his prerogative to explore competitive pricing, a sentiment we have conveyed through numerous phone calls and emails initiated by our leadership team.
Regrettably, it seems that *** ***** has chosen to voice his grievances through negative online reviews, which, in our assessment, inaccurately portray the nature of our service. We believe these actions are neither constructive nor reflective of the comprehensive efforts made by our team to engage in open communication and find a resolution.
Given the apparent disconnect and the dissemination of potentially misleading information, we have decided, with regret, that it is in the best interest of both parties to conclude our business relationship. We wish **. ***** the best in his future endeavors and sincerely hope he finds a service provider that aligns with his expectations.
Thank you for your understanding and support in facilitating communication between AllTech and **. ***********************************

I am rejecting this response because: the company never provide the estimate break down and cost. They were not transparent in service and doing price gouging . The labor cost is still missing. They kept out of heat for 2 weeks while never providing any cost estimate or breakdown in writing. The negative review is good. I want Virginia IG to do their tax ID audit and find that they are taking advantage of the winter situation to charge high prices. I got the same service for 700 from their competitive and show they are price gauging and do not provide cost breakdown to the customers. The technicians never gave the estimate in writing and the customer service manager did not give me any estimate in writing either.Solution: They have to refund me the 700 for getting someone else to the job since they refused to the job and for the pain/suffering with 2 kids in the winter with no heat for 2 weeks.

On Thursday, October 17, I terminated my service agreement contract with All Tech Services, for systematically deceiving me in order to sell me things I don't need at outrageous prices. On July 6, I was charged $387 for an A/C capacitor. I found out later, it costs $24 & cost of the whole job ranges between $70 to $120. On the same day, they claimed my upstairs A/C unit is not functioning & needs to be replaced. Their estimate for a 2.5 Tons ***** was $18,000. W/discount: $15,000. I signed then cancelled the contract after my husband told me it costs approx. $4,000. My A/C unit worked perfectly throughout the summer. On October 17, I called for service. The furnace wasn't working. The technician found a dead bird inside & removed it. He told me the motor was damaged & a new one would cost me $959. He said my 5-year warranty expired. I told him that I have a 10-years warranty with ****** which installed the furnace & I'll let them do it. ******’s technician checked the furnace & told me it is undamaged & absolutely fine. He said birds falling in the furnace is very common. He also told me that if the motor was damaged, it wouldn’t be covered by the warranty because it is ‘an act of God’. So he could have cheated me & sold me a new motor, instead he were honest & told me the truth. The furnace has been working perfectly since then. At this point, I called to cancel my contract with All Tech Services. *** ***** ********** decided to charge me retroactively $95 diagnostic fee for Oct. 17 when my contract was still valid. I refuse to except this extra grift. My position is: I paid $392.88 for the service contract. The first inspection cost $196.44. Since I caught them trying to cheat me out of $959 on Oct. 17, the termination fee must be waived & I should not pay the $95 diagnostic fee because my contract was still valid. Therefore, I need a total refund of $196.44.Customer Answer

AllTech emailed me agreeing to pay the refund, but I still didn't get it.Business Response

Upon further investigation into *** *****'s account, we never charged her the $196.44. Instead, we discounted the payment reflected in the first document where it shows a -$196.44. The negative symbol indicates a discount and as you can clearly see, there is a $0 balance due. The second attachment serves as an endorsement of our core values, specifically, Customer Focus, Honesty, and Accountability. Any time *** ***** felt dissatisfaction with our services and demanded a refund, we have honored every request. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund *** ***** for a fee she was never charged. After speaking with the customer, it was clarified that she wanted a refund for the membership that she paid for on 4/26/2023. We refunded her for the full membership amount paid of $291.44. As our Techs did come out to service her we retained the $95 dispatch fee but refunded the membership on 5/1/2023. Please see attachment. We have refunded *** ***** what was owed to her and no longer have any further financial obligations to her.Customer Answer

AllTech representative called me today & continues to refuse to refund the $95 for the service call they made while I was still under contract with them. They want to charge me for a service call retroactively.Customer Answer

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: I did not receive any refunds, not the $291.44 nor the $196.44 mentioned in AllTech's response. The invoices they attached do not include any reference to a credit or refund made to my credit card.Their first invoice shows that I was not charged $95 for a service call because I was still under contract when the technician came out. But this $95 was re-applied retroactively after I canceled my service agreement and that is my whole point of contention.
There is nothing in the invoices AllTech attached that indicates my credit card was refunded nor that they sent me a check or any other method of payment.

In response to *** *****'s concerns, we have thoroughly investigated the matter and would like to provide a clear overview of the resolution.
Upon reviewing *** *****'s account, it was determined that she was never charged the $196.44. Instead, the amount reflected in the first document (-$196.44) represents a discount, resulting in a $0 balance due. Please refer to the attached documents for clarification. This practice aligns with our commitment to core values, including Customer Focus, Honesty, and Accountability.
Furthermore, regarding *** *****'s request for a refund related to a membership payment on 4/26/2023, we have refunded the full membership amount of $291.44. While we retained the $95 dispatch fee for the services rendered on that occasion, the membership refund was processed on 5/1/2023, as evidenced by the attached documentation.
We have addressed *** *****'s concerns diligently and fulfilled all legitimate refund requests. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund her for a fee she was never charged. For any additional inquiries, concerns, or verification, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected].
Thank you for your comprehension. We also believe it is in the best interest of both parties to discontinue our association with the customer. It appears that despite our efforts, we are unable to meet her expectations, and the current arrangement has resulted in us compensating her rather than receiving payment for the services provided.Customer Answer

I have not received any refund from AllTech Services. I'd like to see any proof that they refunded $291.44. Do they have something like a confirmation from a credit card or a canceled check or anything showing that the money actually left their account and was deposited in any of my accounts?Business Response

On July 6, 2023 at 6 PM, I signed a contract with AllTech Services to replace an A/C unit. My credit card was charged $7,500. I cancelled the contract at 7:17 PM, the same day in an email to the sales person, *******************. He confirmed the cancellation at 7:34 PM. (copies of emails attached). On July 7th, I called & spoke to ******* to ensure the cancellation went through & a refund is issued. She told me that indeed it was received & they'll issue a refund. On July 17th, when got no refund, I called ask about it. The person I talked to said, my account notes that the contract was cancelled on the 6th & that I spoke with ******* on the 7th confirming cancellation. She added that no action was taken to issue a refund & said she'll start the process then. On July 19th, when I didn't receive the refund, I called again, spoke with ****** who told me it will take 7 to 10 business days to see the refund on my credit card account. I asked him to expedite the process because my bill is due & if I didn't get the refund now, I'll pay interest on the $7,500. He refused. He had a problem understanding the concept of issuing refunds upon contract cancellation & not upon repeated calls & reminders from customers. He said, "We are not assigning blame here." which is convenient since his negligence & carelessness costs me, not him, money. Then he tried to convince me that my call on the 17th was the cancellation date & not my email on the 6th. The fact is: If I hadn't called on the 17th, the refund wouldn't have been processed at all. So, should we assign blame? You bet! AllTech cannot behave irresponsibly & expect customers to sit back & take it. ****** cannot be insolent, rude, & unable to offer solutions when their laziness costs me money, I need my credit card account credited this week, not in 7 to 10 business days. I should not be expected to pay for their unwillingness to work & use their energy.Business Response

Good afternoon,
We have thoroughly reviewed the customer's complaint and the events that unfolded. It is important to note that we did process the refund on the very day she requested to cancel the job. During this process, we informed her that the refund typically takes 7-10 business days to reflect in her account, and this duration is determined by her bank, not our accounting department.
I'm pleased to inform you that as of today, the customer has indeed received her refund, and she should not be charged any interest fee. Please be aware that banks may take up to 30 days to update their records, and this is beyond our control.
