I have contacted the salesman about a contract for some basement work and explained a personal situation that had arose and asked for a refund ofnthe deposit. He said no problem when I get back in town I will cancel the contract and you will get a refund in about a week. On the 21st of july I received a text from Randy the salesman stating that he canceled the contract and I should look for a refund check in about a week. On August 4th I reached out via text asking about the status he stated it is in the process as we speak you should have it soon. So Inreached out again today the 23rd of August asking about the status with no reply. Iwas told 3 times that I would receive a refund for the deposit once during a phone conversation and twice by text. I would like to receive the deposit back as I was told I would receive.

I hired **** Basement ********* to waterproof our basement, a job which they completed in October 2021. On the last day of work the foreman provided me with an invoice, which I signed, and I paid him the last of what was owed for the job. Suddenly in June 2022, they started contacting me about additional money I owed them. They said they had added additional electrical panels based on our particular situation(which they did, and I agreed to before the work was done), and that it cost extra for that. I told them that whatever I agreed to should have been included in the bill, which I paid and signed for on the last day of work. If the extra electrical wasn't included in the final invoice, that was a mistake on their part, not mine. Also, the power went out in the house a couple of months ago. Ever since, the battery backup on the sump pump beeps every 10 seconds. There is no button or reset on it, and my daughter(who now lives in the home) has reached out to them several times to get it resolved, and they have done nothing about it. She has also contacted them due to the fact that they moved the discharge for the sump pump into the yard. They told me that when it happened, and said that a "little bit of water" would bubble up each time it pumps out. It is a significant amount of water, to the point where the area around it in our front yard is a constant swamp. They have refused to come out and address that problem as well. I have attached a copy of the final receipt that I was given and signed. It was a duplicate receipt, so the foreman took a copy and left me a copy.

I recently (06/30/2022) hired ** ********* & Concrete to level my basement so I can do a hard flooring installation. The leveling was recommended by * ****** who will install the hard flooring. I reached out this company to do the recommended leveling. A field inspector ******* came to my home, checked and gave me a quote. He agreed to level my basement and I agreed to ***** for the job and he told me they will be using a Polyrenewal injection to level my basement. The day ***** crew came to my house, they had no idea what they were doing. They told me they came to do some stabilization and minor lifting. I told them that was not what we asked and agreed. I asked them to call and talk to the * before they began the work. After talking to ****** they agreed to do the leveling. They spent about 1 hour doing the fake *********** injection ********** a foam) and finally told me they leveled it, but I was very skeptical of their work. The next day, Home ***** sent an inspector to my house to check if the leveling was done properly so they can do the hard flooring. I was shocked to learn that the company **** did not do any leveling at all. As a result, * ***** canceled my flooring contract. I called ** immediately and told them that their crew did not do the leveling properly. I even sent them the email I received from Home ******** inspector and asked them either to refund my money or do the job properly. After my complaint, they sent a supervisor to check the work. He admitted the wrong doing and offered to refund me ****** but he said he would have to talk to his manager for approval. He then completely stopped communicating with me. I wrote a letter to the General Manager, ***** ****** He called me about a week later. After a long discussion with him, he denied any wrongdoing and offered me only **** refund. I made an appointment for a free estimate for foundation repairs on a manufactured home I recently purchased due to obvious sagging in the kitchen counters. I specifically requested a smaller person advising the crawl space is only 2ft x 2ft and there is also air conditioning ducting to either go over or under to access the area of concern. The field inspector, ******* ******* was of the proper stature and showed up on time. Prior to accessing the crawl space, I raised the base of the kitchen sink lower cabinet because you can visualize the crawl space from above. At this point, we both discovered I had a major plumbing leak. As I called for plumber, the inspector from ***** accessed the crawl space to take his measurements and while doing so, crushed one of the air ducts and effectively dislodged it from the return. While still in my home, I complained about the temperature getting hotter and he stated it was likely due to the floor board under the sink being lifted. My home got up to 96° in a matter of hours. I couldn't find an HVAC company until the following afternoon. They took both photo and video and relayed to me all above info and fixed/reattached the duct. It took 12 hours for my home to cool back down, and cost me ***** ***** is aware of the situation and is now arguing and unwilling to pay for the damages they caused! I spoke directly with ******* at the time of the incident, and he even stated that he crawled over the duct. All of this occurred on 7/27/2022. I was forced out of my home for 2 days due to the heat (I live in **** and essentially paid $125 to an HVAC company for what was supposed to be a free estimate for foundation repairs. Let's not forget that they quoted me almost ***** for something that is not even a foundation issue! The plumbing leak is what caused the warping. The foundation is not even in need of repair!!!

They came out to give me a quote on my basement/foundation issue, which they did. We put a deposit down which we were told was 100% refundable, after discussing further with my significant other we decided to get more opinions as we are talking about a lot of money and our house. The estimate was on Monday the 25th, Wednesday 27th I emailed him explaining this, at which he was quick to response and ask if we can talk Friday. I pretty much said no thanks please proceed with canceling the appointment and issue refund. No response after 2 emails. I called the company 3 times, first time left a message no return call, second time reached someone and was told his manager would be in contact with me by the end of the day, at this time I asked more questions and came to find out that you only get refunded if it's within 72hrs. So 5pm I never heard from anyone so I called again, now there closed and had to leave another message. I have emails and call logs to prove when I called. My deposit was for ********** They were so quick to come out answer until I say I want to cancel for other opinions and now after how this was held I don't even want to consider them for the work in the future. My next step is to dispute the charge, looking for advice please

I called and scheduled and appointment to get an estimate for waterproofing my crawl space in my basement. **** ***** came out was very nice asked me what i look for in a company and what my expectations were. He explained things, gave me an estimate then took my **** deposit saying I had to put at that time because it was the only way to get a discount but he spoke to his boss and he was told I would be fine for financing but that he couldn't get into his system due to a password ****** He said he would email me later that night no later than the next day with a new contract to reflect the financing. He also said I had 3 days to cancel. Later I got a call setting up a date for services to be rendered. I never received an email or any additional calls. I called on 7/29/22 because I wanted to cancel before I lose my deposit if I can't get the financing I need; left a message for a return call, that never happened. I sent an email, no reply. I called also on Sat and today 8/1/22 (several times) again I cannot reach a live person. I called the main number again pressing the option for new customers, I get a live person. I explain how I am unable to reach anyone, she attempted to get someone on the line that too was unsuccessful. She said she would put a request to have me contacted. I ended up finding **** ***** business card and called him. I explained how I been trying to reach someone and wanted to know what is going on. He said he is waiting to get the financing info. for me. Knowing I did not give him any info such as my *** I asked how. I then explained I don't feel comfortable doing business with a company I cannot get in contact with and reminded him what I look for in a company. He got loud and upset saying what did we lie about lie, I explained i never said anyone lied but you did say you would email me so you should have communicated whatever the hold was. He ***** saying we don't do business with ppl that say we lie and hung up the phone.

Date of initial transaction 2/12/22 Promised completion date 6/1-2/22 Company has been paid roughly **** in the form of recurring monthly payments. Company failed to complete work as required on 1-2 JUN 22 and when asked to reschedule was told they would call back. Company answered phone over 20 times, gave run around answers and promised a call back which was never provided. After 2 months of calling Company agreed to reschedule to 29 JUL 22 but failed to provide confirmation a crew would arrive. I am seeking a settlement of ***** off the cost of the project to cover lost wages for days missed when work was not completed, the continuing damage to the home due to failure to complete work on schedule, and lost wages for days missed upon final project completion. I am also seeking completion of the job as laid in the initial contract on 12 FEB 22 and contact from the business to confirm dates and adjustment to billing. This companies failure to complete work as contracted and failure to contact to resolve the issue has resulted in significant delays in project completion and progressive damage to the property and as far as I'm concerned their actions and negligence justify a breach of contract under which I seek fair settlement and project completion.

I had *** come to repair water coming into my basement. They walked thru steps to fix issue and said could only be done by exterior work and would cover a 1 year warranty. Work was completed in October 2022. In June and July water started coming in again in same location on three consecutive rain storms. I called and service manager came out and saw where work was performed and even where some areas by his feel weren't done properly. Was told that they would make this right and fix issue. I just got email stating that the salesman who said that there was warranty did so on multiple other customers and as a result is no longer with the company. As a result was told they would not come back to fix issue. I spent over **** for this work and has been 8 months.
