Scope of work; Burns Heating and air will do the following work on said property in this proposal. Burns will install a new heat pump system in the home, The heat pump shall be a ****** 14-SEER 3-ton single stage with a 3-ton variable speed air handler. This equipment shall be in the basement of the home. The air5 handler will be located to the left of the breaker panels at the left end of the basement. The heat pump shall be placed outside the home on the left side of the house just on the other side of the wall from the air handler's location The two shall be connected with a copper refrigerant line set we will drill a hole in the band board to the outside to feed the line set through. We will also provide a plastic equipment pad for the outdoor heat pump and a service disconnect and we will run the high voltage wire from the breaker Pannel to the equipment and we will run the thermostat wire to the location on the main floor and provide a ********* pro 8000 thermostat to control the equipment. Ductwork; Burns will install the ductwork for the home. The basement supply runs will be located in the same manor. Burns will install an april air 700M Humidifier and Air Scrubber in the Ductwork. The total cost of this project will be $14,224.00 Problem: Burns was paid the full amount and has failed to finish the following: 5 ducts remain yet to be installed or delivered. The entire line is missing for 2 and partial lines are missing for the other 3, including a vent fan which was verbally agreed upon in lieu of the bathroom lines in the contract. The installed system is not working and will not blow cold air. The humidifier and air scrubber remain yet to be installed or delivered. Overall this amounts to roughly $1100 in parts. The install started early Dec 2022 and has yet to be completed. I have attempted to make contact with Burns every day via his business phone and email for the last 2 weeks.
