I received services on two DOS from this practice and I was overcharged on both visits. My dental provider sent an EOB with the charges, amounts and responsibilities and shows the amount I was actually responsible for. I have contacted the dental office in regards to the matter and have been told one excuse after another. No one from the office has been helpful, I am told billing will contact me, someone will call me back, it's done through a third party, e.t.c. I have become very irritated with the treatment I have been receiving and lack of customer satisfaction. My insurance company has now escalated the matter to their patient advocate department to try and assist me in this matter. I feel this office is conducting inappropriate practices.

I made an appointment with Dental One Associated dental office located in Woodbridge VA.  When I went there their dentist told me to that there was some work that requires some serious attention and will cost me about US$ 800 out of my pocket. So I agreed to it and prior to my appointment date I was laid off from work so on the day of my appointment I went to their office to explain my situation and told the manager by the name of ***** that I can't afford the services and would like to cancel my appointment. She told me that I should have cancelled my appointment 24 hours prior to my actual appointment so she told me that I will have to pay US$ 100 for not cancelling it on time. I asked her the reason I came in person was to show my courtesy that I was laid off and that is the reason I can't pay. So she still insisted and she wrote on the report that I didn't cancel the appointment because I was out of town. She was very rude and I am disputing the US$ 100 that she has put for collection and also would like to give them bad reviews as the workers over there are all rude. Thank you *********, **** * *****

    To Whom It May Concern:
*** ***** had an appointment with are hygienist for a Scaling and Root plaining on July 25, 2022. He also had confirmed the appointment in advance. On the day of his appointment, he came in at his appointment time and told me that he was not going to do the treatment because he was out of town and could not call his insurance. *** ***** was informed that are policy was 24 hour notice or there would be a missed appointment fee. I explained that all he had to do was call and cancel or he could have canceled via text or on line.
On July 7th *** ***** was presented a treatment plan for the work that was going to be performed on July 25th. *** ***** accepted the treatment and signed the treatment plan stating that his out of pocket expense $424.80 and made the appointment for the 25th. *** ***** left without treatment and told me that he didn't care about the missed appointment fee because he never pay. According to the letter I receive *** ***** stated he had lost his job and that's why He couldn't do the treatment once again that was never stated on July 25th. If that would have been the case and stated to the office at that time a missed appointment fee wouldn't have been applied. We are willing to work with the patient.
    Sincerely,
    Cindy H***** Office Manager
