I am disabled. I have degenerative bone problems and arthritis physically and general anxiety and depression. I especially have horrible anxiety about dentists. But the *********************** freedom fund provinded $1500 for new dentures in April of 2021. I paid another $125 on top of that. In the middle of the process Dentists changed and I went from a confident dentist to a barely competant dentist. ********************** assured me that they would fit and Id be eating steak and nuts in no time. The atmosphere in that office is chaotic at best and its so crowded you can barely navigate through all the extra chairs. He is distracted by all the other mistakes he's making that he's barely focused on what he's currently s******* up. By November of 2021 I finally received my teeth and immediately they didn't feel right but, I was told to just use them and Id get used to them. But after two weeks of patience, I still didn't feel like they were even mine. They swam around in my mouth and no amount of adhesive would hold it. So, I came back to hsve him fix them and his solution was to grind my few remaining teeth which need crowns, tofix the bite. Then we squeezed out a half a tube of adhesive and shoved them back in and said fixed. It still didn't fix how the plate fit in my mouth. As soon as I try to chew, the whole plate moves. So, I called back several times and was ignored but eventually they fit me in saying that my insurance was covering it all but, when I got there they said that I had to have them relined. (Which was stated on the phone) They had to send them out for that and I now have to pay extra for something I think shouldn't have to be done. If they made them correctly, they should fit. And I was reassured that after I paid that initial payment that these teeth would function properly without any other out of pocket expense. I think they should live up to their words and keep trying till these fit properly.Customer response

Good Afternoon,
In response to Jame's complaint, I wanted to convey our apologies for the situation evolving to this point. I was unaware there was an issue until I received an email today from the BBB with the complaint. It's unfortunate that the denture wasn't a perfect fit from the start. Over the course of a denture's life, relines are sometimes needed and at the cost of the patient. Given the fact it was a bad fit from the start, the office should have sent out for a reline at no cost. I will use this situation to educate the office and have them reach out to ***** so we can get his denture relined.
