About three weeks ago I called faiths to schedule an appointment to have my transmission looked at. A window replaced and to address an open recall. We never got a phone call to be told anything about the status. After speaking several times with a bunch of service employees. We have been told a number of different dates that they would be ready to diagnose the 2019 **** explorer. Every phone call has been a nightmare since. They didnt look at the open recall. They never returned a phone call to give a quote on the window replacement. And then after about three weeks they decide to ask us to pick the fore up without anything done. Oh also they went from a week to diag to two weeks to a month. To now they dont have time. Come get it. Knowing that it doesnt run. Also we went and looked at It. The vehicle looks like faiths left it unlocked and invited People to throw trash in it and it has a new urine smell. I noticed now the 1/5 star rating. Wish they never answered the phone. I asked that since they didnt touch anything on it. That they have it towed somewhere at their expense. And to tell me about the recall and how much I owe for the window. Its nice to be laughed at. Vehicle dropped no appointment or knowledge of owner etc, Rolled off trailer into our light pole. Tried for several days to identify the owner. Customer called in to have diagnosis of transmission. Asked for physical address. We were unable to get address or signed authorization for diagnostics. Our transmission specialists is in very high demand. Vehicle in very rough condition. Had police come down to review situation was advised to get authorization prior to doing any repairs unable to do so. Customer picked up the vehicle and filed this complaint. Interior of the vehicle filthy every exterior panel damaged rear quarter glass broken brakes extremely rusted. In the end no work without written authorization . *******************Initial Complaint

On 2/11/24 I called Faiths Toyota, which appears to be a new business name, about a 2021 Toyota CH-R my daughter wanted. My daughter was only interested in this car. I spoke with a ***** that was an internet specialist at this dealership. She said the car was available and they could hold it for 99$. I gave her my card info to hold this car. My daughter filled out the online credit application that day which was a Sunday. She said they should have an answer in a few hours. I was passed on to a salesman and he said he would be in touch the next day Monday 2/12/24. He called stating that my daughter would need a co-signer as she had little credit and work history. I asked him again to confirm the car was still being held and he said yes in your daughters name. He took my personal info to move forward with financing but never had my signed authorization to pull my credit to over 10 banks. Later that day another person calls me its the finance manager. He states he got a possible approval but needs documents. He then states that the 2021 Toyota CHR is not available and started talking me into other used cars he recommended. I was very upset as I was getting notifications of my credit being affected. I checked my credit report to find that my credit had been pulled at over 10 banks without my authorization for a car that was now not for sale. The sales manager called me to try getting me to buy other cars on the lot which the photos on their website were filthy! He blew it all off when I said I was very upset as I have been trying to repair my credit and now I have all these hard inquiries that are there for 2 years! If I had known this 2021 Toyota CHR was never even available I would not have put 99$ down nor would I have pursued it. I want my credit report cleared from every bank they submitted to without my signed authorization as soon as possible. This dealership should not be submitting financing without signed authorization especially on vehicles not for sale!Business Response

We couldnt get an approval on the ***R right away and so she agreed to co sign and as we didnt have an approval the vehicle did sell. So then we asked to work on other vehicle and we did as the requested and they were not happy with anything we could do.

I am not satisfied as I called and put a deposit to hold this vehicle and now they are lying saying it was sold because they were waiting on financing! The sales manager told me the vehicle needed to much work and was wholesaled after they pulled my credit to over 10 banks I did not authorize them to do that. This business is not telling the truth. I want all the banks that Faith Toyota pulled my credit report to removed. You do not do this to a customer without signed consent and you dont go and sell a car when a customer put a deposit on it. [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.] I previously attached the text message with ***** a salesman there stating the car was on hold for my daughter, this is not allowing me to upload it again.

I bought my car from faiths back in October and had to wait a year for the camera that was supposed to be fixed to be replaced so to back order I completely understand thats out of there hands but I also told them the drivers seat rocks and the lumbar does not work and was told we will take care of it when it comes in for the camera. When the car just went in for the camera a month ago the seat was not fixed and I was pretty much ignored and told cant find anyone to approve the repair. How do I know the seat is not going to break while driving and cause a major safety concern or an accident? I have made many attempts to contact them to have this resolved with no return phone calls or emails. Im looking to have the seat fixed like they said they would. I will be sure to share my experience with all. Including the sales guy contacting me for a private business he wanted to start after I bought my car and he left the dealer.Business Response

Placed a refundable deposit on a car on 4/25/2022 for $500. I have called since the week of 7/20/23 to get my refund. I have been told repeatedly its on its way and being processed but after over a month it has not been. Also, the last time I called I was hung up on by the receptionist saying they are new here and then I got the dial tone.Business Response

He doesnt pick up and we have no email

My father, ******************************; my husband, ******************************************; and myself, ********************************************** (previously ***************************) went to Faith's Toyota to finance a vehicle on 3/11/22. When we purchased and signed paperwork for the vehicle on 3/11/22 we were informed by ********************* (salesman) that they needed to hold onto the car to fix and inspect it, so it would be inspected and have an inspection sticker on the vehicle when we came to pick it up days later. In the attachments I added to this complaint you can see they ran an inspection on 3/17/22 and 3/18/22 and the car failed both times. They called us to tell us that the car was ready for pickup as it was fixed, inspected, and cleaned. When we went to pick the car up it wasn't cleaned, fixed nor inspected. We were in a rush as we were moving up north with our children that day. We were unaware of it not being inspected or inspectable as we were told it was. We went to get and oil change and the mechanic informed us we did not have an inspection sticker and the issue with the vehicle could damage the engine due to it being emissions based. After this, we used a vehicle code reader at home and found out there was an issue with the emissions and cam shaft (The reason Faith's failed it). We contacted *****'s Toyota about the issue via phone and were met with unkind words and were told "that's how car buying goes". In conclusion, this willingness to take advantage of one family proves they are capable of such acts; we must ask ourselves how many others this has happened to.Business Response

On Saturday, August 6, 2022, I went to Faith Toyota/Ford car dealership and put $500 down on a 2010 Toyota Tundra, I had a purchase contract with them, My credit union was going to finance the vehicle, I told the salesperson that I was going out of country and would be back on August 17th, The car dealership sold the vehicle that I had placed a down on payment on and had a contract on four days after we we had a signed purchase agreement. We followed up several times to confirm if he could get finance and every time he had no answer for us.

On june 08/2022 i signed the contract for A new 2022 toyota tacoma. When we agree on the deal they told me the car Will be delivered from ******* to ******** where i live. So after like 3 weeks the car was delivered To me. But the car was delivered with only one key And is missing the owners manuals.And the dealer keep saying they Will mail The second key and the manuals.But never happened.I went to the local toyota dealer and they Told me just the key alone can cost up to $350.00.So i Will appreciate if any one can help me Becouse i been calling the dealer but they don't do nothing.ThanksBusiness Response
