  I had a bill from Quest Diagnostics (a blood work lab) and used the questdiagnostics/bill term to search on ******. The Doxo site is a sponsored search and in the ****** results is listed before QuestDiagnostics. Naively I clicked on the doxo link. I would have expected the Doxo website to clearly mention that they are not associated with Quest, and maybe they did mention in very small font or at the corner of the page. I paid a $16 bill and got charged 3+ dollars as an additional charge. I just went through assuming that Quest might have outsourced its ******** to this Doxo and hence I have no other way.I realize that its my mistake of not choosing the correct link but this is very misleading of doxo to cleverly manage itself as a sponsored ****** search and then deceive customers into charging this ridiculous service charge

  *********************. I used them to pay a medical bill not knowing that they are a 3rd party and not affiliated with the medical company I thought I was paying. They charged me $3.99 to make the payment that would have been free if I had gone to the correct website. Worse is that my payment never made it to the medical company it was suppose to go to. I had to pay it again so I wouldnt go to collections while I researched what happened to my payment. Doxo sent me a copy of the canceled check to prove I paid it. First they sent it in an attachment I couldnt open, the a copy where you couldnt read the back of the check, and finally a copy where you could read it. The medical office that was suppose to get the payment was able to tell me that the check was deposited into an account at the ********. The medical office doesnt use that bank which isnt even in my state. So now Im at a dead end. The bank wont tell me whose account it was deposited into. Doxo is already under investigation for signing people up for their program and not telling them. Stealing my entire check is just another scam of theirs.

While check images can sometimes be hard to read, it sounds like that could have been communicated more clearly.   Since writing my first report, I learned from Doxo that the address the check from Doxo was sent to wasnt the medical center that it was suppose to go to. They sent it to the wrong address. I googled the address and it is out of state. I had to tell Doxo that it wasnt the correct address. The check went to a questionable company that doesnt have their own website. Despite that, they have told me that they reached out to the medical center that the check was suppose to go to and are having them research it. I already heard from another Doxo employee that they made a mistake and sent it to the wrong address. There is no research needed. I sent them a message that said that. Finally, after weeks of talking to both Doxo and the medical center that the check went to, I may finally get my refund! Doxo says I should get a check in 4 weeks. I think they were just trying to string me along and hope I would give up. There wasnt much research I could do on my own. The bank that the check went to isnt going to tell me whose fake account it was deposited ******* was extremely frustrating that I had to rely on other companies to try and find where my check went. Never using Doxo again. And not even sure I will get my check in 4 weeks. Maybe thats another one of their delay tactics

  If you look on the internet, I am only one of many people who used Doxo and yet the check never made it to its destination. I got the ** answer from Doxo that said that the check was cashed, as if that is proof. It isnt. Yes it was cashed but that doesnt mean it was cashed by the company it was suppose to go to. My check went out of state to a bank in ******** that I have never heard of and that the medical center I was trying to pay doesnt use. The address that Doxo used to send the check to is connected to the *******************************. And that place doesnt even appear to exist. Thats suspicious. The *** is already investigating them for falsely signing customers up for a plan that charges a monthly fee. Is an entire missing check that surprising when Doxo is already accused of making money off of signing people up with Doxo for services that were never requested? Add it up. The *** investigation, an obscure bank, an address to a place that doesnt seem to exist. Seems shady to me
