      Rocket Reach has taken my personal information, including my image, job history, and degree details, from linkedin / other job search site without my explicit permission and is displaying it on their platform. While I voluntarily shared this information on ******** or other job search site, I did not authorize Rocket Reach or any third party to access or use it. Ive tried removed my image and other details from ****** for privacy and safety reasons, but Rocket Reach continues to display my information, making it available to anyone who searches for it and allowing them to purchase it. I reached out to Rocket Reach, providing them with a screenshot from their site showing my personal information and requesting its removal. However, despite this evidence, they claimed they could not locate my profile and have refused to escalate the matter. After multiple follow-up emails, they have ignored my requests for resolution. It is rude to provide all the information in ****** search without my consent.       My personal information has been posted on this website. I've tried multiple times to have them remove it, but I never sent the link that the website claims it will send via email. Imperative that my personal information is taken down.

      Complaint Summary: Unauthorized Auto-Renewal and Denied Refund by RocketReach Invoice #****** On April 17, 2025, RocketReach charged me $1,296 for an annual subscription renewal (Invoice #******) without providing any prior notice. I contacted them immediately the same day to request a refund, as I was unaware the subscription would auto-renew and had no intention of continuing the service.RocketReach responded by saying the subscription renews automatically unless manually canceled before the renewal date. While this may be in their policy, I believe it is unethical to charge such a large amount without any reminder or notice. Reputable companies send advance renewal notifications, especially for high-ticket items, giving customers the opportunity to review or cancel the service.I have not used the renewed subscription, which just began today, and I canceled it immediately upon seeing the charge. Still, RocketReach refuses to issue a refund.This is not just poor customer experienceit feels like predatory behavior. Customers should not be surprised with large charges, especially when they havent received clear notice. Im requesting a full refund of the $1,296, and I hope BBB can help resolve this matter.I have attached the invoice, my email and their answer.

      At RocketReach, we aim to provide full transparency into subscription terms so that every user has clear visibility and control over their billing. Renewal information is presented at the time of purchase and is always accessible through your accounts Usage & Billing section. All subscriptions are set to renew automatically unless canceled, and cancellations are entirely self-serve, giving our users 100% control over future charges.

      Additionally, at the time of purchase, users agree to our Subscriber Terms, which outline both our auto-renewal process and our no-refund policy.

      That said, we understand that subscription renewals can sometimes catch people off guardespecially for higher-tier plans. As a one-time courtesy, we have processed a downgrade from the annual subscription to a single-month plan and issued a partial refund for the difference between the two plans.

      Here are the details of the adjustment:
      - Original Annual Subscription Price: $1,296
      - New Plan: Single-month Subscription
      - New Plan Cost: $165
      - Partial Refund Issued: $1,131
      - Plan End Date: May 18, 2025
      - Included Lookup Credits: 250 lookups available until the plan ends

      Status: The monthly subscription has also been canceled and will not renew moving forward

      The refund has been issued back to your original form of payment. Please allow 510 business days for the funds to appear on your statement.

      RocketReach is apparently a data mining website that collects PII, including phone numbers, email addresses, work history, and photos about people WITHOUT CONSENT. I found myself on this website today with all my personal details, including how to reach me by phone and email! I requested that my data be removed via the "Do Not Sell My Info" option on their website, and they did nothing. I would like this taken down and my data and profile removed immediately. Please help. I never ever consented for my data to be used by this website, and I do not want any unsolicited photos of myself to be posted without my ********** RR profile: ****************************************************************

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. I am satisfied with the deletion of my profile, thank you for your support. However, please note the business did indicate there would be a removal of the ****** search results (it said "here" but no link was provided), and I am very much looking forward to this as my picture still comes up in ****** searches, with this being the only result or instance where such occurs. I am hopeful this will be resolved soon.

      Finally, I would appreciate that it be relayed to RocketReach that four attempts were made to have my profile removed via their "Do Not Sell My Info" feature - all were unsuccessful. For that reason, I reached out to the BBB for support. I do hope in the future the business will take these requests for deletion seriously and ensure that each and every request is actioned. In our current climate, digital privacy is difficult enough to manage for the average individual. Consent for collecting and posting personal information should be treated with paramount respect for individual privacy.

      When I search my name on ****** Search a link to my profile page on Rocketsearch is coming up along with a photo of a man. I am a woman not a man and this is not my photo. Note, it is against the law here in the *** to alter someone's identity and to cause them harm. This is malice and has been done with ill intent and it is causing damage to my reputation and keeping me from getting a job.I filed out the profile removal request form; ***** ******** from support reached out confirming that my profile was removed. I submitted a refresh of outdated content in ****** search but ****** did not remove it because the *** to my profile is still active on their website eventhough they removed the content. Removing the content is useless when you dont remove the *** I asked ***** ******** several times to remove the *** but he was not responsive.Please do the right thing and remove the photo, link and all my content from your database permanently. Thank you.
