I signed up for a RocketReach subscription on December 2nd, from a Black Friday special advertised on their site. It was like 25$ off. There was no discount code used or entered, it was a subscription sale, that implied that this was your monthly price, if you subscribe during the Black Friday sale. Attached is the receipt. NOWHERE on the site, on checkout, or the receipt did it specify that it was for the first month, only. NOWHERE. Typically there is some kind of message, either blatant, or even small print that specifies first month only, but they did not. A month later I get billed for the full amount. I respond with basically "what is going on, why am I being charged for the full amount?". Someone replies that "oh that was first month only". She knows it's a scam, and that it wasn't specified anywhere that the discount was only for first month. Even, see the first receipt, it says it will automatically renew, which would be the amount paid on the receipt! It doesn't say auto renew at full price. I'm seeking a full refund of the $319.88 as I would not have subscribed, had I known (OR IF I WAS TOLD) that it only applied for first month. I can't even used a single credit for contact, so I did use their product at all, yet (was planning on using in Jan, so I subscribed earlier than I would have needed, just to make sure I got the discount going forward). Please help, as this is egregious and maddening. The fact that they lied, and wouldn't even refund me is telling about who they are. They already have a bad reputation, and now I see why. Thank you so much for your help. I have never made one of these complaints before, but this one I simply couldn't let go. I got scammed, they know they scammed me, and they refused to offer any acknowledgment, or remedy. Also, I ONLY opted for the large package because of the deal, which was represented to be in perpetuity. I would have gotten a smaller package, if at all, and I would have gotten it in January.
