    If I could give 0 stars, I would. My problems with PTLA have been endless. Long story short, they have no clue how to manage their company. Ever since I have lived here, they have fired every competent manager running ******* at June ***** and have the worst customer service I have ever seen. The issues stem from Poor upper management. Ever since we moved here, weve had nothing but electrical issues that are left unresolved, several lease documentation discrepancies, parking disputes that PTLA never resolves, and a lack of understanding of military leasing laws. Theres a lack of care, and it truly shows. Avoid leasing from them like the plague.

    Zero stars! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY if you can at all avoid it.This company charges outrageous fees and provides no service for those fees.We sought to transfer our lease early. They charge $250/renter to do this and require YOU to find the new renter (even demanding you inquire into their finances) only to make sure you are unsuccessful in the process by not responding to emails or calls until it is too late. We made repeated attempts over 2 1/2 months with more than half a dozen ptential renters only to lose each one due to lack of response by PTLA. At 3 months still on our lease they said "to bad, so sad" we won't do it within 90 days of the end of your lease. They ignored our calls, sent canned email responses to our questions and requests and sat on our submissions until the potential renters moved on.

    I rented from PTLAfor4years.The apartment wasfilthy when I moved in.I called and complained they said they couldnt do anything but that I wouldnt be charged for some cleaning when I left due to the dirty conditions.In that time the kitchen sink ended up leaking twice. I immediately contactedPTLA and told them it was severe and needed to be dealt with immediately and sent pictures.It took a week for a repairman to show up.The cabinets were heavily water damaged and I expressed my concerns about black mold under the cabinets.Because the kitchen sink, a main component of what I was paying to rent was un-usable for a 25% of the month, I asked for a rent discount. PTLA literally laughed at me and said no.The owner once said everyone leaves at least 5 hours worth of cleaning. I was charged for exactly 5hr of cleaning. I moved out 3/27/23.I received a partial deposit on4/14/23 with a letter dated4/7/23 and check dated 4/10/23. On 4/19/23 PTLA canceled my check without any notice or reasoning. I noticed the next day after they closed. I called4/21/23 and asked what was going on with my check. The receptionist didnt know and said he would call me back. No call back. I called back several times and finally got someone to call me back 4/26/23. At which point they told me they had some bank fraud stuff and checks were cancelled. RCW59.18.208states that PTLA had 21 days from me moving out to return my deposit. On 4/26/23 PTLA told me to come in on Friday after 1:30pm to get my check, I asked if PTLA would be paying me any of the fees that they charge me ($5/day on any outstanding balance or $35 for any returned checks) again the woman at PTLA literally laughed at me and said no. On that Friday I got a call at 12:49pm and was informed that they were closing early at 2:30pm. I was unable to make that work, PTLA didnt apologize for the late notice and said they were open Monday 5/1/23. I got my check on 5/1/23, well past the 21 days permitted under **************** law.

    I applied to rent a property from this place March 1st 2023 at which time they told me I would hear something in 2-3 days, also when I viewed the apartment, I noticed a leak in the kitchen where there was water on the floor. I let them know right away.When I didn't hear anything, I called them. They said it was still under review. This happened several times until it was a month. Finally, they said they needed 1 more piece of documentation. My father took it in the next morning. They said they should have an answer right away which I did not. Finally, my mom went in, (I am, a student and work a full-time job and I have 2 young boys) mom told them it had been nearly a month, this was a Friday. They said they would upload the documents to the fellow who reviews student applications, and I should hear from him by Monday. When my mom checked in with this fellow on Wednesday, he said it was still under review. At which time she told him she was filing a complaint with the BBB and that she was calling the ************************** The next day I received a call that my application was accepted.They advised I could pick up the keys that next Tuesday. I called them Tuesday am and they said I could pick they keys up at 33:30 pm because they had to repair the leak in the kitchen.Very Disappointing
