  Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a formal complaint against LAGE CONSTRUCTION LLC, represented by *******************************. I contracted their services for interior painting of my condominium and have encountered significant problems that I have been unable to resolve with ****************** directly.Company Name: LAGE CONSTRUCTION LLC Representative: ******************************* Contact Information: ************************************************************* TEL:************ I am writing to express my serious concern regarding the painting service that was scheduled for my condominium through LAGE CONSTRUCTION LLC.On July 24, ******************************* visited my property to provide an estimate for the interior painting work. Based on our agreement, I paid a deposit of $900 on that same day. We scheduled that all of my furniture would be moved on August 17, and the painting work would take place on August 18 and 19.However, despite our agreement that the furniture would be moved on August 17, nobody arrived to do this work. When I called to inquire about this, I was assured that someone would definitely arrive at 8:00 AM on August 18. However, no one showed up at that time, and I have received no further communication from him or his company since then.I had arranged for floor work to begin on August 19, based on the completion of the painting. He failure to show up as agreed is now affecting other aspects of the renovation work.I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by the lack of professionalism and accountability demonstrated by LAGE CONSTRUCTION LLC, and the inconvenience and financial loss this has caused me. As a consumer, I believe that I have been treated unfairly and that my rights have been violated.I kindly request your assistance in investigating this matter and, if possible, facilitating a resolution.   Hi,I signed a general contract with *************************** (owner of Lage Construction LLC WA) to do painting (complete interior and exterior) work at my primary residence.I signed the contract with the contractor (***************************) to paint interior and exterior in $7600. I paid $4800 in advance as a deposit. The contractor starting causing issue from day 1 as soon as he got the deposit money. He started saying bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets grease cleanup and lot of other important things are not covered. He painted the doors from one side only and said only visible side of the door is covered. Technically, he started asking for more money than we initially decided in the contract. He started threatening to leave the home painting in the middle and in mess. To avoid the issue, I signed another contract with ****** in $9000 and asked him to cover everything this time. When I signed the contract I realized that he has intentionally removed few things (like Exterior painting) from the contract. When I confront him, he said he will paint exterior and no need to worry. He asked me to pay more deposit. I again paid him $2000 more. He worked for 2 days and said he account is blocked and can't access the fund. He said he need to buy painting stuff so pay more. I paid him another $1200. So total $8000 paid out of $9000 contract. He completed to 20-25% of total work and didn't touch the crucial parts of home.As soon as he got $8000, he stopped come to work and stopped picking up my phone. I tried multiple days to contact him but he didn't pick up my phone and didn't reply to my messages.Finally, he replied after couple of days and asked me to pay $4000 ($2000 extra+ $2000 illegal taxes).He asked me to pay in advance all ($4000 more) the money. On refusing to do so, he left the work in middle and didn't show up. He completed (low quality) only 20-25% work and ran away with the money. He said he is not afraid of police and court and asked me to go to them.
