    I went in to this dealership serious about making deal on an Acura MDX as advertised below for ***** dollars. When I spoke to the sales representative (I believe his name is *****) he tried to sell the same car to me by giving me a quote of ***** dollars which is ***** dollars above the advertised price.I thought this salesman was a bad apple in a tree. I decided to give this dealership a second chance however to improve transparency decided to email them instead and specifically asked to have communication done via text. The person who contacted me was very malicious and fraudulent. Despite of me asking for his name multiple times he wouldnt tell me his name nor would he give me any information I requested.After multiple text requests the salesmans name is *****.They have very shady business practices. Given their shady business practices and potential harm to name of Acura Manufacturer I have shared my experience with the auto dealer.

    *************************** came to shop for a new Acura at Hinshaws Acura, but he did not purchase a vehicle as he could not come to an agreement with the dealership.

    Our General Manager and our New Car Sales Manager have attempted to reach ************** to discuss his concerns and have not heard back from him.

    During our initial communication I did text the sales manager asking about a transparent quote received absolutely no response. I did not get any form of resolution from the General Manager ********************* either. 

    I feel my time and effort was waisted in an attempt for this dealership to scam me. They have not offered any resolution or any transparent quote. Their customer service and client relations have been poor.

    Hinshaw Acura is not being truthful about their response. Attempts have been made to contact the business however no response received.

    They also have not beeN truthful or transparent about responding to my quote inquiries. I feel my time was wasted and I have not been compensated for my time that this business wasted.

    I have been been trying to get a hard inquiry removed from my Transunion credit report for over a year without success. I had a pre-approval letter when I went in the dealership to purchase a vehicle. I told *********** ************************* that I had a pre-approval letter and he told me that although I had a pre-approval letter from USAA I still had to fill out the credit application otherwise I couldnt purchase a vehicle. I asked if it would be a hard inquiry on my credit report and he said no. I later noticed that it was and called the finance department several times and even went back to talk to him in person. I even spoke and texted the general manager ***************** on 9/14/22 about it. Im beyond irritated that it has been resolved yet!

    I am rejecting this response because on September 14, 2022 ***************** and I had been communicating about the salesman ***** incorrectly telling me that I had to do a contract because I had already been pre-approved thru my credit union. I even have a text message asking about the status of the inquiry he said was going to be removed and it never was. He read the message and never replied back saying that since I signed a contract I was authorizing them to run a hard inquiry on my credit report.

    The whole car buying process was beyond stressful! I made a sexual harassment complaint against ***** (you can see some of it in the text messages between us), the car broke down the first 7 days I had it and ***************** had to come down to my job on the base and get it because the driver they sent had a felony record and couldnt get a visitor access pass AND I have a hard inquiry on my credit report!

    I respectfully request that Hinshaw Acura AND ***************** correct the mistake they made and delete this inquiry off my credit report IMMEDIATELY!

    On June 29, 2020. Hinshaws Acura purchased my vehicle for $42,077.55. I made an agreement with '*************************' a salesperson at Hinshaw's Acura. Hinshaw's Acura took possession of my 2020 Acura MDX on June 29, 2022. I received a check from Hinshaw's Acura for the amount of $ ********* as I had a balance on my Acura Finance Account. However, I have not received a check for $2,077.75 per my agreement with Hinshaw's Acura. I am enclosing the name of the salesperson along with the agreement written on the back of his business card. I have no document from Hinshaw's showing the purchase price. I think I have been scammed.

    I have received the refund check from Hinshaws Acura for $2,283.45 today. My complaint with Hinshaws Acura has been resolved to my satisfaction.
    I want to thank BBB for its help. I also want to personally thank *************** for helping me resolve this issue with Hinshaws Acura in a timely manner.
