We booked this property in November through booking.com. put in payment information and everything, recieved a confirmation number through booking. Booking.com was not the only place the house was listed as available for the dates we selected. We drove 4.5 hours on Christmas day, left our home at 530 am with four excited children for a family vacation. I requested an early checkin time when we got close to *********** and shortly after recieved a phone call that this house was never available as it had been reserved in June. It should have never showed up on multiple sites as available if it wasn't. I don't blame booking.com this was completely weekend hideouts problem. When I desperately told the lady ****** I believe that we had a confirmation number, I was yelled at and told this wasn't her problem and there was nothing she could do. That this was bookings fault. That she never confirmed the reservation. Nowhere was it listed that I'd get a seperate confirmation email from the weekend hideout it's Self. Thankfully booking.com was able to find us another place to stay but it definitely wasn't what we were hoping for. We will never attempt to book with Weekend hideout again. The lady was extremely rude.
