I would give him less stars if I could. ***************** with Special K Painting, ********** **. Stole $3, 450 from us by not performing but 1% of the work. power washing the outside of the house and broke the seals of five of our large picture windows costing us $2,000 for the repairs. In additional he cleaned our 50 year roof and gutters (it was not in the contract, and I insisted 3 times for him to stop the cleaning, but he chose to do it anyway. He made me feel so guilty about it, so I gave him a "NEW" not used port-a- band saw ($200 value) He then came back and back-charged me $1,690 for the cleaning of roof and gutters. He told me that he would lien my home if I didn't pay him in 3 days. and hw tie up the sale of our home. Since we were selling the home we had an arbitrator try to resolve the issue without success. A later 2nd quote was $100. So we paid the $1690 to keep a buyer from going sideway on us, He kept the $3,450 as well. Come to find out, through the ******************* ********** of ***** and Industries ********************* Division a certified verification determined that *****************, Special K Painting, ********** ** was not a state registered as required **************** law, Two state violations have/will be issued
