    On or about May 16, 2023 a collection was posted to my credit report from ************************* company representing Alaire Apartment Homes at ******************************************************************I was a resident at the complex for 3 months and moved out in January of 2021. I paid the money to break the lase (` $2,500). On February 15, 2021 I received a notice of a move out cost. I sent the following email on February 16,2021 to **************************** "I am writing about the move out charges from our recent move. We have been charged for light cleaning and painting, I would like to dispute the charges. We used the move out cleaning check sheet to ensure that every thing was cleaned to move out specifications. I have attached phots of the condition of the apartment when we moved out. The phots shows that the apartment was cleaned upon move out. As to the paint, we were only in the apartment for 3 months and no paint damage was caused. Please call me at ************ to discuss"My sister (it was a joint lease) had also spoke to the company. On April 19, 2021 I sent a follow-up email to ************************** requesting a written response to my dispute.We had no contact with the business until the collection posted the dispute.

    Hello,

    After a file is sent to Genisis, the account is no longer with us to discuss. The account is now with Genisis and they do have a dispute department to discuss this matter further.     I am rejecting this response because: it is not acceptable to say that you can not help me because you did not respond to my written request almost 2 years ago.  If you had responded the account would not have gone to a collection company.
