Hello, Officer I am a ********** resident and live in *******. On March 19, 2023, I bought Kia ***** at Kia ********************** Dealer. Unfortunately, now I realized that I got cheated and overcharged for $4995 which is called as Renton Kia dealership adjusted price after I researched. To be honest with you, I am a kind of easy and honest and **** work hard man, and dont know even how to bargain. What happened that day to me was that I had a hectic day coz my old cars engine started spitting huge smog out on I405 highway nearby Exit 6 that so, I pulled over my old car right away and called 911. Later, State Patrol came in and helped me call the Towing. So, I took Lyft and arrived in Kia ********************** without preparing and researching anything for buying a new car.I tested Kia ***** with a young salesman, and I saw the price sticker $21868 at car passenger side window. I was pretty satisfying the price, so I went inside building and provided my credit info to them. After few minutes, another salesman came in and show me monthly payment and car price is $26868. I asked him why this price is different than the one I saw. The salesman immediately showed me a pic in his device in which I saw there is another price $26868 on small prices sticker next to the original retail price sticker $21868. And he said that the final price is $26868, Retail price $21868 + Dealer adjusted price $4995 = $26868.I was so exhausted and tired of talking to him coz I already had gone through a hectic and tired day. Now am thinking that I shouldve asked for more detail about the adjusted price $4995 to them, and I wouldve started bargaining with the salesman from that point. But my brain kept focusing on negotiation of reduction of Monthly payments amounts only and didnt get any feelings that they were cheating me now. I believe that it was happened because of tiredness. Finally, I reached agreement of Monthly payments and signed all paperwork and backed home. Next day, I have learned ****** after I had phone call with my friend and reached all everywhere. I have confirmed that I was cheated and overcharged $4995 that this Kia ***** retail sales price is $21868 not $26868. They dont have right to add dealership adjusted price $4995. Now I completely understand why the financial guy in Renton kia was begging me to buy *** Insurance coz this car price is overvalued. I looked at the *** Insurance paper and found out that on *** Insurance paper, the actual car price is $21868 (not $26868) in the retail price section. Obviously, we can easily see that the Renton Kia Dealer cheated a **** client by adding dealer adjusted price $4995. Probably, they were celebrating for their achievement by deceiving a **** stupid customer after they knew that I desperately needed a car that day.********, I found out another problem after several days that there is no spare tire in back car trunk. I was so disappointed all, so I contacted salesman in terms of getting general manager email or phone numbers in Kia ********************** coz I want to talk directly to general manager of Kia ********************** to solve all these problems. But unfortunately, nobody wants to help my issues. Now, I made decision to move my issues to State General Attorney.Help me please!Best

I purchased a new 2023 **************in Hybrid on 2/3/2023 from Car Pros Kia Renton. The final agreed base sales price of the vehicle was $40790.00. The vehicle qualifies for the "Alternative Fuel Vehicles and Plug-In Hybrids **************** Tax Exemptions" and should have been exempt from sales tax. According to the law $20000 of the sale should have been exempt from sales tax and I should be refunded $2080. Despite this exemption the final sale included a charge of $3826.16 for sales tax. Information regarding the exemption can be found at the following link: ***************************************************************** The dealership never mentioned this exemption and collected the sales tax in violation of the law. I have contacted the dealership for resolution but have not received a satisfactory response (no acknowledgement of wrong doing and no plan for reimbursement). The associated sales agreement can be identified as DEAL# ****** with associated CUST# *****.

On 1/31/2023, I took my Kia ****** here for routine ****** mile service. This included service to the fluids and fuel filter. The vehicle was running perfectly before the service. After picking my car up from service, the engine was sputtering and the check engine light came on. I brought the car back to **************** center the next morning on 2/1/2023. At this time, they told me the reason for the problems was because the spark plugs needed to be replaced. They kept the car overnight, and replaced the spark plugs, and they charged me $379.23 for this. After replacing the spark plugs, I picked the car up, and the engine was still sputtering and the check engine light came on again. Because of this, I brought the car back to them and they told me the problems were actually caused by contaminated fuel, and the spark plugs I paid for were not actually necessary. I asked if the contamination was caused by them during the service, and he looked at his notes, and said that yes it is likely that Car Pros contaminated my fuel during the fuel filter and fluids service performed on 1/31. I asked for a refund for the $379.23, since the spark plugs not actually necessary for me, and the damage was actually caused by ****************. At this time I was told to reach out to the service manager, named *****************, and that he would help me out. I have been repeatedly trying to contact ****** since 2/3/2023, but he will not answer my calls or reply to my emails. This morning, I reached out to my credit card company to dispute the charge, because it is fraudulent, and nobody at Car Pros is willing to speak with me about it.The contamination they caused did long-term damage to my car. I am not seeking restitution for the full amount paid during the service when they damaged my car. I only am asking to be reimbursed for the spark plugs, which I did not need or want, and which were sold to me under the false pretenses that they would fix the issues, which were actually caused by Car Pros during the service to my vehicle on 1/31/2023.

2/10/2023 I called Car Pros *** to service my wheel/tire. I asked if I would be able to use my insurance. They stated it was not a problem. When I arrived to drop off my car they informed me I needed to pay and get my insurance to reimburse... I handed them the estimate from my insurance and explained that is the only work I wanted done to my car. They then called to say I needed oil change brakes and filters changed. I had an appointment with my regular shop for those services. So I again stated I only wanted the work authorized by my insurance that was on the estimate given to the shop. They insisted I needed new tires. My insurance asked for a picture of the damaged tire. I called 3 times as well as emailed stating that the shop needed to email the picture and get prior approval from my insurance before putting the tires on. After 6 days of no return calls or emails I physically went to the shop. They said they emailed the insurance company. They did not and they charged me for a "diagnosis fee of "$249.95 that I did not approve" I paid a total of $2166.31 My estimate from my insurance was $503.37. I had asked for an estimate from the shop for 6 days via phone calls and emails and was never given a quote. I am asking for the $249.95 to be reimbursed due to the fact it was never authorized or disclosed. They inflated other charges and parts as well. But in all fairness I am willing to pay the full price for the work done but not the unauthorized $249.95 diagnosis. The car did not need or warrant a diagnosis. All that it needed was a wheel and tire replaced. As you can see in the estimate the insurance company gave the information on where to get the tire for much cheaper.

As an act of goodwill, we have offered to refund the diagnostic fee.

We have found the ** Mail to be slower these days, which is why we offered to provide the customer a refund via credit card. Our manager will reach out directly to see if there are other options. My car was totalled on October after it has been stolen. I have been contacting *** of renton for the past two months since this is my first time having a new car and wasn't sure on what to do. Once I figured what I needed to do. I call multiple times and left multiple messages asking them to see if there is warranties on my car and if so I need to cancel them. It took them three weeks just for someone to say yes and that I have to come in. I came in early on Friday the 12th of Nov to sign the paper to have the warranties canceled. Since then I have been calling asking for papers saying the warranty has been canceled and any copies of checks that *** be coming back to me or my lien holder for insurance purposes. Today I called and was trying to reach someone again in the finance department. It went to vm. I called again and the person I was speaking to is arguing with the person in finance about taking the call. Which he then transfers me again and no answer. I call back and they don't even answer just puts me on hold. I am currently still sitting on hold it has been 10 min now and no one has even picked up to say anything. All I need is my paper work. After all you should be willing to give that to me after scamming me and trading in my car for only $100 and I didn't notice until now. All I want is my paper work and they keep giving me the ru. Around. I just need my warranties canceled and to make sure it is dated back to me coming in and signing the paper which is the Friday 12th of Nov. I also tried to get in contact with *********************** who apparently is covering for him whiles he's on vacation. Can someone please help to resolve this issue. I'm literally still on hold right now.

My ******* Veloster was towed to Renton ******* CarPros ************* in Renton, WA on 08/09/2022 due to transmission failure. I was contacted by *** letting me know he received my vehicle. 10 days later, I texted *** for an update, he replied yes, they authorized transmission replacement. Called again on 8/22 and left voicemail with no return call. Texted again for an update on 8/31, *** replied no ETS for transmission as of today. I then asked about a loaner vehicle but received no reply. On 9/2, I went to the dealership in person and spoke to ***, since I never received a call back. He only stated he didnt know how long it would be and no, there were not any loaner vehicles available. 33 days later, I texted him on 10/5 and 10/18 for a status update with no reply. On 10/19, I called at 9:03am and 5:20pm and left voicemail messages with no response. I have had no update or time frame for 2 and half months. I have had no transportation since August 9th.

Car pros *** of Renton sold me a Oil change maintenance plan that only works at their dealerships. This wasnt disclosed clearly at time of purchase in March 2022. I moved out of state and have been attempting to have the plan cancelled and refunded since August 2022. I finally escalated to management in august and they told me to send an email to a person who never responded so then I started calling again. I have left messages with several members of the finance team and finally got a copy of the finance form in September 2022 at which point I sent to to the email address that was provided. A week later that email bounced back so I called and was given a personal email address to send it to. Since then I have been trying to get the dealership to confirm they have received the form and are in fact processing it to no avail.

We went to look at a used *********************************************************** purchasing it. The car was not even a year old and had 15k miles on it and body damage they decided they didnt want to repair. They attempted to overcharge on this car by $15,000 over the cost of a brand new off the line 2023 model by saying that used cars were at a premium. I do understand how supply and demand works so I was equally as annoyed to see them try to undervalue out trade in by over $10,000. A car of a much higher quality ******* with fewer miles on it and a plug-in hybrid, to boot, which are at a super high premium. We are only interested in trading it in due to needing some wheelchair spare for our five year old daughter.I suppose the dealership heard that and assumed desperation. When I told them no thanks and explained the absolute nonsense of why, they raised our trade in significantly but refused to lower the car price. I walked because Im neither ignorant or desperate. There have been multiple calls, emails, and texts begging for our business but this dealer is preying on people in desperate situations and hoping someone will need it so bad they are willing to pay a markup that should honestly be illegal. Kia ********* should be ashamed to continue supplying this dealership.

First, I would like to apologize that we were unable to provide this customer with the deal that they wanted. I can understand why this pricing would appear to be undesirable. The current environment of labor and inventory shortages has caused our operating, labor and inventory acquisition prices to skyrocket. This has put upward pricing pressure on used vehicles, both at our dealerships and others. In order to protect the livelihood of the 600+ employees, we have had to adjust our pricing strategy. Car Pros dedication to integrity, transparency and customer service has lead ** to become the number one Kia ******** in *****************. We value each and every one of our hundreds of thousands of customers. I regret that we were unable to meet this customers expectations, but sincerely hope they were able to find a vehicle, and price, that met their needs.

Paid for license and registration, they havent provided it and will not respond to my questions about why or whats happening with it. I received a check in the mail for a partial refund for license and registration fees with no explanation. Im trying to register the car myself and they will not give me the title number or even confirm that the car has a title. No one will respond and Im now driving an unregistered untitled car with no response from the dealership.
