    Terrible customer support, they wont reply in email or phone. Because for 6 months they have no parts. My MOTOR has failed in less than 1 year and its a 4 year warranty. They dont have motorss because they must fail a lot. Their excuse is the supplier. Meanwhile I am out 3K for an electric bike that only supplies power if I use the throttle, not by pedaling. The throttle is on or off and its 25mph which is too fast for most of my driving. They simply are hiding because they dont have the part, the main motor part, that has failed me.

    After going through a couple of different e-trikes we decided to spring for an Evelo. I forget the exact name of the type we got - but it's very sturdy and solid compared to the earlier ones. One of our etrikes won't hold a charge, so you can't just charge it, unplug it, leave it for a while, then expect to be able to ride it. The Evelo etrike does not have that problem. So if you are looking for etrikes, this is a solid choice. It isn't small though. If you are looking for something to fit through doorways this wouldn't be it.

    Before I decided which ebike to purchase, I went through an extensive review of the various ebike models / options on the market. Of course I was looking to find a good match for my riding needs. However, in addition to cost, performance, etc, I focused on signs of solid customer support from ***************. As I read through various reviews / issues from other bike owners, it seemed clear the most common 'gripe' was poor after-sale support - even for bikes that were otherwise very appealing. For that reason, I also considered the three parameters listed below - and Evelo was a clear winner in each:Warranty / Return policy: I disregarded any bike that did not have at least a 2 yr warranty. I noticed that even some 2 yr warranties were not that great, when you read the details. Poor return options for quality issues were another warning flag. Nobody even came close to Evelo's 4 year warranty and free return policies. It is clear Evelo has confidence that their customers will be satisfied.BBB rating / customer score: This is an important indicator of vendor quality / customer commitment. Some of the bike vendors do not even have a rating; others have very low scores. Evelo has high scores: 4.4 customer reviews and a ******************** rating of A+ ...Nice!Response to inquiries: As I reviewed various ebikes, I usually had a few additional questions. I used the vendor's 'Contact Us' feature to ask my questions - watching to see about their response time and quality of their responses. I would think as a potential customer I would get prompt attention, but that was not always the case. Evelo wins here hands-down. The responses I received from their support folks were very promptly answered; usually on the same day - and were extremely clear, detailed and well-written.I also appreciated the level of technical detail provided on the Evelo site - not just marketing material that I have seen elsewhere.- Evelo makes great bikes, and they stand behind their products!

    Great customer service - Bike is a huge disappointment First bike arrived and after assembly there was a constant rattle (sounded like a broken screw) coming from the motor component. Other than the rattle this is an attractive bike that is very comfortable in size, weight, etc. for my petite wife. She loves the look, style and ride. But that darned rattle... **************** was very helpful and after a few suggestions to fix the problem they agreed to send a replacement. So a good part of an afternoon was spent padding and re-boxing the original bike to be returned. Second bike arrives, gets assembled and there are problems with the controller not shifting, turning off and on by itself (wife riding up a hill and bike shuts down so there's no more pedal assist, lights or anything). Sometimes it will work, other times it won't. Again, customer service is top notch and they arrange to send a new controller and find a local bike shop to make the repairs. So a couple more weeks without a bike but it's fine. The wife loves the bike and since this will solve the problem, all good, it's worth the wait. Bike is done, rides with no issues for several weeks, wife has a big, big smile while riding this very good looking machine. Due to unforeseen circumstances we are not able to ride for about 4 weeks, our bikes sit in the garage waiting for us. Saturday morning, time to ride to the market and Galaxy 500 has no back brakes and front brake is very spongy. Air in the brake lines. This bike barely has 200 miles on it. I have a competitors ebike that was half the cost, has **** miles on it with out a lick of trouble (well, one flat tire). All electronics, components, brakes, etc. are operating as they should and I ride hard!!! I have been on dirt trails, gravel roads, jump curbs, etc. My wife rides below 20mph and her Galaxy bike has never been off city streets. I am so sick and tired of missing riding opportunities because my wife's bike doesn't work right. **************** gets
