      They don't care about evidence. My daughter was involved in an accident. It was captured on surveillance video. The video was entered into evidence at her contested hearing for her ticket. Based on the evidence the case was dismissed against her yet ***** sided with the other driver and paid off the other insurance company. They said that the court didn't blame the other driver, however they ignored the fact that the court dismissed the case against my daughter. With customer service like that from the claims department we are dropping Pemco.

      We have previously responded to this concern on a different platform.

      We are sorry for the frustration this issue has cause. Unfortunately, there are instances when a ticket can be dismissed in court, and it doesn't change the liability decision for an accident.

      I discovered that my experience is not unique. PEMCO customer for 30+ years, was on my parent's PEMCO policy before that. PEMCO was fixture supporting the family for years. Involved in a minor fender ****** in early 2023 and my wife got a ticket for 5 miles over outside ********* (which is a known big speed trap) after nothing for years and years, and our auto coverage got cancelled. We have spent hundreds of thousands of premium dollars with them over the years (we have homeowners and an umbrella as well), only to discover they are not the partner we thought they were. As a local, I confess to having been a naive PEMCO promoter, only to be disillusioned--they are truly the opposite of their marketing messaging. Buyer beware!

      Pemco was fine until I had an accident, after over 30+ years of no accidents.. Poor customer service and refusal to continue coverage., despite excellent driving history!

      I was shopping around for insurance and heard good reviews of Pemco. To only be denied a quote for 3 years because I had one claim for a window chip that was worth $30 on my current insurance, on a car we dont even own anymore. There should be exceptions to their policy for Window chips. So ridiculous.Very disappointed, and the guy was rude about it.

      We have had Pemco homeowners insurance for over 20 years. We have paid over $2000.00 every year, and have never filed a claim. This year we got extensive damage from a wind storm, we had to replace parts of our well, just so we could get water. We also had damage to our shed, garden area and driveway. Pemco has refused to cover our claim, and instead told use that our yearly premium was due, or they would drop our coverage. Funny how they want their money in a timely manner, but when they have to pay out, they refuse. Too bad you don't know they are useless, until you need them!

      I had Pemco before and they were a great Insurance company when I was buying my car now I am being over charged for coverage since I own my car. The representative said to present my last 13 months of coverage from my prior insurance which I did and told me that I still could not be covered. I experienced a house fire deemed by the fire chief as landlord negligence due to the fire place being the only source of heat for my family which includes my daughter's age 4, and 11. If it wasn't for my dog whining at 7:30 am we would all probably lost in a house fire. I tried to explain this situation and how I lost my phone and alot of what I owned, As well as leaving the state the same day as we had no where to go. ********* gave us only $730 to figure everything out. How many days would that last at a hotel? Then we were homeless until a relative was able to take us in, then I am told the house that was supposed to be fixed for us to inhabit again is not available, basically from the lack of response from the property management. Then 4 days before a promised place we are told after being completely approved we cannot move in for whatever reason. Now I am being denied insurance for the car that I own because of this experience is ridiculous. Everyone experiences hard times is there no empathy or grace ******* to just be denied is crazy. I know now that PEMCO is nit the company I thought they were, helping the locals and making attaining insurance easier. Very sad.
