If I could give negative stars, I would. Sent my ring in to get diamond cleaned. They sent it back, but the diamond was not secure. It spun around, loosely, until it fell out. Sent it back in to get fixed and the wanted to charge me full price to fix. Terrible service and terrible customer support. They were offended we asked for a discount. We thought it was fair, considering, the ring was basically destroyed after they cleaned it. They sent the ring to us not long after they sent a pretty abrasive response. I would purchase your wedding ring somewhere else!!Blue Nile Inc

1 starBuyer beware of Blue Nile (now owned by Signet). This was the worst experience I've ever had with a jeweler claiming to honor a lifetime "quality" ********. I purchased a silver bracelet for my wife less than two years ago, and the clasp mechanism broke after minimal wear and use. When I contacted support, I was told to "take it to a local jeweler because our in-house jewelers can't work on silver." After multiple emails, I was finally told to send it in, but they warned me it would take 78 weeks just for review, and Id have to pay for shipping. Remember, they initially said their in-house jewelers cant work on silver, so Im not sure how they plan to assess or repair itespecially since the issue is with the inside of the clasp ************** Niles ******** should clearly state it doesnt cover silver items. This experience was a waste of time and money, and I strongly recommend thinking twice before purchasing from ********* or their parent company, Signet.Review fromBrynn Z

1 starIf I could give a zero star review I would. As I'm looking at other peoples reviews and after talking to the store manager, many people have had the same issues that I've had. A week after my fiance proposed a halo diamond fell out. I took it in to get fixed and it took 6 weeks to get it back. When they returned it, the diamond was still missing, there were scratched on my band that werent there before and the size was still wrong. They said they would make me a new setting with 14k gold instead of 18k and I accepted. It took another 6 weeks to get my ring back. The halo diamonds were all out of line, not in line, some were sticking out more, some were pushed in more but I decided to deal with it since I didn't want to be without my ring anymore. A few weeks after that I took it in to get cleaned and when they gave it back to me a diamond in the halo was missing that wasn't missing right before I brought it in. The next day I was at my dinner table and another diamond simply fell out while I was sitting there. Right onto the table. I told them that I wanted to keep my diamond but get a refund for the band because of how many issues there have been and how much money we spent and they refused.Review fromKyle S

1 starI ordered a 1.5 carat diamond ring. The shipping was taking longer than promised so I looked at ********************* for options.Blue Niles website states that they price match.I found the EXACT SAME diamond on ********************* and requested a price match. They refused, so I canceled my order. I took my $9,500 worth of business elsewhere. Please beware they do not honor their word and run a scam operation.Review fromBrandon H

1 starExcited to try out their "Price match guarantee". Quickly discovered that even if you find the EXACT SAME DIAMOND (same lab report # and everything), they are just able to decline to match the price. Would not recommend this company to anyoneReview fromKelli G

1 starPurchased an emerald **** for my daughter. It was advertised as an engagement **** but she was wea**** it as a stackable ****. After 3 weeks, one of the stones fell out. I sent it in for repair & they told me 4 other stones were crushed. Ive been asking for pictures of the alleged damage since March ! They want me to pay for the repair. They have said that emeralds are not meant to be worn every day. I told *********** pictures of them advertising the **** as an engagement **** ( which to my knowledge is worn everyday, & with a wedding band ) They have offered me 75$ towards the repairs. Theyve termed the damage excessive wear after 3 weeks. Blue Nile refuses to work with me on this matter. *** asked to speak with a ************** refuse. They actually tried passing someone off as a *********** recognized the name. When I told them I knew she was a supervisor & not a manager they said the manager was in a meeting. Blue Niles customer service is nonexistent.Review fromTristen J

1 starWe had a disappointing experience with Blue Nile. Seven days after my fianc proposed a halo diamond fell out. It took about 6 weeks to get it fixed and returned back to us. Upon return, after having it less than 48 hours for the second time, another halo diamond fell out. This is when they decided to inform us this is due to their new vendor and has happened to other people as well. Although we were out of our thirty day window, we requested a full refund for the entire ring. We were provided the options to refund the setting only or get another setting through them, which could be up to another six weeks of waiting time. We decided to take the refund of the setting due to our lack of trust in their quality. Now, we are stuck having to spend more money at another company to rectify Blue Niles poor product. It's frustrating and disappointing to have to invest additional time and money into fixing their absence of product quality. Being engaged for 3 months and only being able to enjoy your ring for roughly nine days is a bummer when it should be a once in a lifetime experience. The employees were nice and it was not their fault, but I would not recommend this company due to their poor product.Review fromSam B

1 starI purchased an engagement ring from Blue Nile in September 2023, using their custom ring builder. I selected a cushion cut diamond using their inventory tool, set in the Trio pave 18K band. I would never purchase from Blue Nile again, and I would never recommend anyone purchase with them. I purchased a ring too big, and returned it within Blue Nile's 30 policy to receive a smaller size. After weeks of phone calls to Blue Nile with no one accountable for delays in ring resizing, I finally emailed the *** of Blue Nile and their PR inbox. The *** personally called me, and said he would work with Blue Nile's director of service to see to it that my ring was resized and returned by the end of the week. The *** called me a second time to tell me that he saw the ring in person and signed off on it being sent to me. On receiving the new ring, there were noticeably visible scuff marks and burrs. Blue Nile compensated me $500 for the inconvenience, but I am no longer within return policy for a low quality item in a condition that is unacceptable. While I have been in email contact with the *** and director of service, they are no longer responsive now that the ring is in my possession.Review fromCJ L

1 starWe visited Blue Nile's *************** Showroom for a simple ring resizing, and it turned out to be a horrible experience. The store manager was initially nice, but the moment she realized we werent there to buy more, her attitude flipped. She basically ignored our needs because we weren't spending more money. The worst part? She flat-out refused to help us resize the ring. She made some excuse about not having forms, which is ridiculous. Then, when we asked for sizing help, she was no help at all. She told us to use a sizing tool that didn't even fit and then just said to call customer service. It was like she couldnt be bothered to help us in person. We ended up going to *********, where they treated us like valued customers. The difference was night and day.I'm really angry about this. We chose Blue Nile for something as special as an engagement ring, and they let us down completely. I regret buying from them and I'm telling everyone to avoid Blue Nile. Their service was unacceptable and ruined what should have been a happy experience.Review fromLiz R

1 starIf I could leave 0 stars I would. Do not buy from them.I ordered a pair of earrings on 11-29-2023 as a holiday gift. The item was in stock when the order was placed. The shipping date kept getting delayed and Chanukkah was approaching. I sent an email requesting more information and nobody got back to me. I called customer service and they said they would look into it for me. When I didn't hear back, I called again.I was told there would be a delay in shipping until January, but that I would be the first on the list to receive them. I mentioned again that this was a Chanukkah gift. It was still possible for me to purchase something else, but they assured me I would receive it after the new year.My sister was so excited to receive the earrings when I shared a photo of them during the holidays.Flash Forward to this week. The item I ordered is now out of stock, so my order has been canceled.
