I can't say enough how much Goodbill helped me. I was treated kindly and with patience, not to meantion given extremely fast responses to every question/ concern I had. From the beginning they were supportive, they listened to the entire story of what I went through and why I didn't understand the bill I'd gotten. I was kept informed throughout the whole process but very little was asked of me overall. In the end they saved me Hundreds of dollars and so much stress and frustration in dealing with the hospital on my behalf. I want to reiterate how important it was to me that they immediately took me seriously and acknowledged how difficult this process is without help. Between deciphering medical and insurance codes to requesting forms I didn't even know existed or were available to me, their help was truly invaluable. Thank goodness for Goodbill!! I left the ** a few months ago with a $4.5k bill (it was astronomically inflated and my insurance already covered $10k of charges!!) I was terrified about what this type of debt would mean for me. Figuring out what to do about medical debt is insanely complex, so I took a chance using Goodbill. I was very worried that this would be yet another scam targeted at vulnerable people. However, Goodbill was very upfront about how their system works (I saw a review that said they were not upfront about the charges but I disagree- they make it plain and clear that they charge a percentage of whatever they save you and if they don't save you money they don't charge you) and I was even able to contact my personal Goodbill case manager (************************* <3) before I ever signed up. Goodbill helped me take my 4.5k medical debt down all the way to $0! I am genuinely so impressed and grateful. I know I could have never handled that situation successfully on my own- the healthcare system is designed to make it difficult for you! I will never stop singing my praises for this company- they truly are designed to help people, which is so rare.Review from Christina L
