      I purchased tickets for my mom and I to go home and visit family. I paid extra for the insurance. Sadly, my elderly mom was ill and not able to travel. I had to cancel our flight and was given a credit. I attempted to receive a refund but was denied because, the insurance did not cover Covid. I called to finally use these tickets and was told I would have to pay an additional **** on top of the **** I had already spent. The agent explained that the have to book them one way to get there and a one way to get home to use the tickets. Yet I could go on their website and buy new tickets for only ****** more. I asked for their corporate address and phone number to which he responded he was not allowed to provide me. When I stated that I am just going to lose my money because I am not able to pay this additional amount. He replied we are being more than fair. I have been with them for many years and have never had such a terrible experience or service. I will not use orbitz again

      If I could give a zero that would be perfect! Traveled, was given an email confirmation directly from the company with instructions, how to pick up from the specific location, dates, car type and was told that was a mistake that was sent that there was no reservation?? after speaking with a supervisor, I explained I was instructed to print my reservation and because there was not a reservation o ended up paying double of what this reservation was for and I get a very unprofessional negative as a solution to my issue from a supervisor?? Dont waste your time at all. Oh and no resolution to my issue because it was not their company that sent me a confirmation even though it was clearly printed and forwarded back to them from my email and received by them

      I would give a zero if I could. They steal from their customers. I booked a car in advanced and got the insurance. I was unable to pick up the car and tried to get insurance refunded back but they said they couldnt refund because it was too late. It had only been 4 days since I wouldve picked up the car and they were saying they couldnt refund because it was past the effective date and the effective date was when I booked the car. Which is insane because why would the effective date of insurance be before I would even be using the car? I would never recommend using this company and will never use it again. Find somewhere else to book through.

      Two things 1. Orbitz says that there is free cancellation till the last minute. its BIG LIE 2. I booked for 3 days. The orbitz website charged for 4 days. Tried multiple times. I regret that. They charged multiple times and I am in the process of getting money from the credit card company.They said it is a website issue. Gave one credit. Waiting for otherstwo.3. Will not go with them again, I was customer with them since 10 plus years 4. No more Orbitz.

      I would give this negative stars if I could. Buyer beware. I purchased a rental car through orbitz. I specifically searched for skip the counter option because I waited two hours in a rental car line on my previous trip.Found a car that was a higher rental price, but was willing to pay it for the skip the counter option. Well guess what got the email confirmation and I have to go to the counter. I'm so angry. I contacted orbitz and they are very sorry but they can't cancel or revise the rental. I'm livid. They gave me some lame excuse. I paid for skip the counter, the rental agreement said skip the counter but I have to go to the counter :(

      Orbitz used to be a great company. I have been a loyal customer for more than eight years (I travel extensively). I will never use Orbitz again. I have noticed a radical and unethical change in its algorithms. You search for specific dates and it gives you a great offer for different dates. If you don't double check and do not realize it, you may loose all your money. Be very careful. Double and triple check. You may be buying a product you did not request. I find these practices tricky. I have had problems three times in a row. I give up on the company. They will say I pressed the wrong buttons. After buying dozens of tickets without encountering any problems, now I have had issues with three purchases which were not what I had requested in my initial search. RESPECT THE SEARCH, ORBITZ.

      They have left me high & dry! Out $191.00 Due to them not reporting the collision insurance they sold me!!!! So the rental car place. Added it on to my bill & emailed it so we couldnt dispute it. Orbitz keeps saying it for extra stuff we added. Yet I paid orbitz $195 and they only reported $145 to the rental car company!!Taking absolutely no responsibility for their mess up!! Ive spend 6 hours on stupid chat with *********** always say they will get back to me in 72 hrs. Never do!Ive used them for years yet they dont care. All they want to do is give me credit & then they charge me to use the credit!!!Absolutely worst travel company ever!!!

      This is by far the worst travel agency you can ever use. My long story short started with Covid-19 cancelations, here I am 2 years later still dealing with the des appointment, lost the money I did pay for a hotel in ***** I was not even able to enjoy. I lost my job after but they did not care, instead of a refund I received a coupon extended until December 31, 2022, I clearly explain to them it was not in **************** to travel there and speaking with the horrible customer service personnel I realized that businesses like this one can care less for you or me or anyone other than making more and more money, I am a believer and have certainty that God ***** will one day take care of them because now days when we are dealing with so much stress, depression issues people like them do not make things easy to anyone.

      Awful awful Awful! Zero stars.Room cold as ice, complained but got nothing just lies, paid for 5 nights can't get a refund. Two children two days before Christmas door keeps blowing open because the latch is broke so much ice on the inside of the windows could see your breath heater on hi no blankets just dingy sheets no where to go 20 below out the door my kids and I had to go. Still no resolution. You can't treat people this way if we would have stayed we would have just froze and died

      I bought a ticket from Orbitz (which is EXPEDIA) and my international flight is cancelled. I contacted the airlines they referred me to Orbitz (my card was charged by Orbitz). I suffered in Uzbekistan airlines by making $$$$ roaming calls to Orbitz. But only I got, "don't call us, we are the one who call you back" FIVE different agents just disappeared by understanding the situation! DELETE THEIR APP AND "EXPEDIA" BEFORE YOU WILL BE IN SITUATION LIKE OURS!
