They sold me a car with a rolled odometer I'm pretty sure computer says it has 191k dash says 175k. broke down 4 times in the month I have owned it. Sold it with no working headlights.they also from reviews put a family in a car with no breaks while they had an infant. The truck broke down while on the freeway almost killing me and my son. After leaving a bad review they threatened to not help me and still to this day I'm out a vehicle. I missed work for 2 weeks and was fired because my vehicle is my life line at work..they are knowing and willingly selling bad cars. The owner claims you signed the waiver for Washington. But never once told me what I was signing. I would never sign something waving my legal right 5o return. This company is bad. They have you fill out a review right after purchase and that's why they have good reviews. If repairs or trades aren't met I will process with legal action.

I purchased a 2010 jeep grand cherokee from inspired auto sales on approx. 02/15/23, **** out right lied about the numbers with me, the total price being financed, told me I was paying$500 for the warranty I bought and it was not it was close to ****, they only allowed me 15 mins/15 miles to test drive and they obviously had just cleared the engine codes which takes 24 miles in the jeep to re appear, so just after driving off the lot with the car the engine light came on and when I took it in to have it checked, the entire catalytic converter system is bad and this car has 2 which would cost me over $3000 to repair, the car is only valued at $4400. I was told they had disclosed to me all known issues the vehicle had and they very clearly lied. The shop I had diagnose this issue stated that this could not have just happened as both catalytic converters were working at 0% and the engine light would have come one once the *** (cars computer) received data beginning when one or both was only performing at 80%.

We are working to resolve this situation with the customer. We do not limit test drives and we do not clear check engine lights to help us sell the cars. This customer was given all the documentation to sign and was explained the as is state he was purchasing the vehicle in. We have a form in which he acknowledges his right to have a pre purchase inspection and he has signed that he declined to do so. Even with all these factors, we are still attempting to solve the issue he is having with his Catalytic Converters. He will need to recant his negative outcry he has made to the internet before we proceed.

I am rejecting this response because:
Regarding the time limit I had to sign A document prior to being allowed to test drive the vehicle which stated I was not too drive more than 15 miles or 15 minutes During the test drive on the form it had start time and return time which was 15 minutes Following the start time. I also would not have been able to drive more than 15 miles as the gas light was on and the gas gauge was passed E and the last red line. My mother was with me who alsoWas present when I signed this document. The check engine might have been cleared I have 2 Impartial exhaust mechanic shops Whom both agree there is no possible way the check engine light was not Cleared due to the diagnosis of the issue. The catalytic converters are operating at 95% blocked only filtering 5% of what goes through the exhaust, That does not just happen overnight that happens gradually over time, The check engine light would have presented itself once the catalatic converters were no longer operating at 80%.  Both mechanic shops have ******* would have been over A several month time period to get to this point if not longer, Also stated it the vehicle continues to be driven and the state it is in it will cause irreversible damage to the engine possibly causing catastrophic failure. The last contact I had with inspired auto was yesterday Wednesday and I was told they were not going to do anything for me it is not their problem and to not call them about this again. In that conversation was overheard as I was on speaker phone by 3 of my coworkers. As far as they're comment about online commeit's the only comment I put online with a review and Nothing in the review was false it simply stated I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle without having that vehicle fully inspected by a mechanic shop due and explained my situation and the major issues I have with my vehicle.  I did sign a form that was as is however That does not mean That they can deliberately Falsify the condition of the vehicle. The last conversation I had with The car lot was that I had spoken with the credit Union who financed the vehicle and they told me that if I cannot come to a resolution with the lot I would be able to call them they would have it towed back to the lot and get rid of my contract and loan and I could go somewhere else to purchase a vehicle, And I told the what all I'm asking is to pay half of the cost For the catalytic converters and I will pay the other half along with having Them installed.  I was informed they were not going to do that However I am not in a position to be without a vehicle for any period of time I don't have any other mode of transportation And besides the $2500 That it will cost to repair I like the vehicle.  And I'm not asking them to pay half of the 25 I'm asking them to pay half of the parts cost which parts are Just under $1400 Which would be roughly $700 on their end Which I feel would be a better way to go than to have me return the vehicle and Them have to pay  The entire cost to make it a running vehicle that could be sold.
    Sincerely,

We are not a type of dealership that will leave a person in the mess of a used car after it has mechanical issues. We have not been given a chance to help before we were blasted on every possible platform. We will consider helping once the one star review, and any other negative outcry is taken down. There is enough documentation to legally protect us in the AS-IS purchase. We do that so we do not get cornered by individuals who are not taking the proper steps to respectfully work out their issues. When you have cleaned up the garbage you put out there, please give the management a call to discuss a resolution.
