I went in and bought a 2016 **** escape on 2/20/2025, test drove it and it seemed fine other than two minor things the back up camera glitches and the roof has water marks. Was told y **** (salesman) they'd set up an appt for the back up camera to be looked at...havent heard from him since. Well not even a week later on 02/25/2025 I noticed a leak under the car...called them and got it in; was told I'd get a call back later that day on what they found...didn't get a call until the next day and was told they fixed the antifreeze leak. I picked up the car on 02/26/2025 and was told "that's your one freebie." They left a whole part disconnected under the hood after "fixing" the leak. On 03/03/2025 I noticed there is still a leak under my car (not sure if it's brake fluid or oil). I called them again which they told me to bring it back in at 9 am the next morning. Upon bringing it in I was told "we'll take a look at it and see if it's covered (under the 6000/6 month warranty) or how much it's going to cost you." Why would it cost me anything when these issues should have been taken care of?

The client bought a vehicle that was sold AS IS attached is a copy of the federal buyer's guide showing a list of problems a used vehicle can have. Auto credit has looked at the vehicle and is helping but repairs are not free either the client or the sales department would need to pay the repairs the client is responsible for the repairs if the repairs are not covered under the 6 month 6000 mile vehicle service contract the client purchased.

Hi, so I am a single mom working part time and in school. I just purchased a car through Auto Credit sales in ******* valley WA. I test drove it 2 times and was by myself. Everything sounded fine tell I brought it home that night. I brought the car into my brother who is a mechanic and his manager told me to take the car back immediately because the transmission fluid was muddy and had a ***** substance in it and that the transmission was bad. So I brought it back in that day not even 24hrs of having the car and the dealers told me there was nothing that they will do its as is. Their mechanic asked me to bring it in for them to flush which I did and it sounds worse. They had told me that they also had me sign the wrong title application which I havent still signed and I saw that they had me with a 29% interest rate. I didnt have anyone to go with me so I am just at a loss because I have a 4 yr old working part time and in school. Is there anything or any advice on how I can get my deposit back and get a different car so my transmission doesnt blow in this one?

The following vehicle was sold as is. We have let the customer know that we are willing to look at the vehicle for them but it will not be a free repair and that they will need to drop off the vehicle and give us time to look at it. The dealership cannot know what is going to happen to a  used car after the sale. We do not offer loaner vehicles.

We apologize that the mechanic didn't take your concerns correctly, but we cannot just repair the car for free. The vehicle is sold as is. If you purchased a Service Contract you are more than welcome to use that at any repair facility of your choice there is a limited coverage on the service contract if you purchased it.

I am rejecting this response because of the current issues. I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding my vehicle, which I have been making payments on. Since the accident that occurred while the vehicle was in your possession, I have experienced ongoing issues that have made it unreliable and difficult to manage.
Given these circumstances, I would like to explore the possibility of surrendering the vehicle to you, as I no longer feel comfortable dealing with its continued problems. Please let me know the steps required to proceed with this, and whether there are any additional considerations I should be aware of.

This company updated their payment system online. It no longer allows me to make payments. I work during their business hours and dont have time to call. I have asked them to call me to make payments, they refuse or delay for multiple days. They are now threatening to repossess my car over barely $320 - I offered to pay $200 today if they would actually call me. They did call me but are saying it needs to be paid in full by tomorrow or they will be repossessing my car. I offered to pay $200 today and the remaining $130 roughly on Thursday. They would not let me speak to management, owners, and told me to pay the entire amount or they would repossess my car. This was never an issue with their previous payment system. I can show supporting texts and emails if needed to prove I have been trying my best to get this matter resolved with little to no help from the company.

The client purchased a vehicle from us on 6-16-2023 the sale price on the vehicle was $ ********. The client also purchased ************* and a service contract when purchasing the vehicle. The client also signed the Carfax when the vehicle was purchased which one of the spots, we have the client sign is next to any issues on the Carfax and on the Carfax the client signed it showed the vehicle was in a collision. The payment that the client signed for was $384.90 if the payment has changed that would be between them and the financial institution that financed the vehicle for the client, the dealership does not hold the financing on this loan Industrial CU of Whatcom County is who financed this vehicle.

Attached is a copy of the law contract and used car order and also a copy of the as is and the Carfax that was printed at the time of sale.

I bought a car 2 months ago and they aren't doing anything to help me out. They are a corrupt business. And targeted me as a native American single mom. They used pushy tactics and would not let me leave the car lot sorting the sale. I thought they were being nice but as I look back it was a dirty sales technique. Since then they are refusing to do repairs so I mentioned suing then and they are now being rude.

Client had vehicle towed into the dealership for repairs and wanted the repair done asap the shop did not have client on the schedule so the client was told it would be a few days before it could get in and be looked at the client then had a tow truck pick the car up. The dealership cannot just stop what they are doing to get on a car that is not on the schedule when there are others already on it. The client does have a *********** contract that is accepted at most repair shops if the repair is a covered component, then AUL will help pay for the repairs. The vehicle was sold as is.

We would gladly have looked at the vehicle, but it would have to have an appointment to get looked at.

      Thank you.

      Complaint: 22025892

I am rejecting this response because:

I was told by the manager to come get my car because they couldn't do anything for me.  I did say I was going to sue but it was because of several things that led up to that moment. It was said put off frustration. I had been messaging with my original salesperson and he said go talk to the guy at the store.  I thought this meant they had a solution. So I got ready and found a ride. When I showed up the guy was rude and his solution was to trace on my car but for way le@ than what I paid for it. . I would have just ayayed home and waited until Monday had I not been led to believe they had an actual teal  solution. After that I was very frustrated and when I called on Monday I was told that I would just have to wait and they jad no idea when they could get to it.  I tried to ask when.  And the manager of the place said they will get to it when they get to it. That's when I get extremely frustrated and said something about suing. After I called down.  I tried to call again and he said come get your car. We can't help you.  I admit that I was wrong to mention a lawsuit but as this ******* led me to great frustration I said something I regret.  Which I would like to go back and take those words back because I allowed their rude behavior to cause me to be rude back.

I had to take my car to another place. I found out that the car need 5000 in repairs. Which I have to say led me to find out that I was further lied to by the salesperson.  He said he had the mechanic run diagnostics on the car before we bought it. That the only issue was an 02 sensor and a door motor.  When the other company ran douala their was a whole list of issues.  There was also work done to the car that was. Not reported by the car lot. Which was the reason for my car drive shaft falling off in the first place.  The repairs that were not reported was work on the ****** case which whoever did the work actually didn't tighten the bolts and that's why the drive shaft fell off on the forest place.

One last thing I would like to ******* is Auto Credit said they would fix the  sensor and the door.  They kept my car for a day and created more issues for it.  The motor they fixed was not fixed correctly. I don't believe the sensor was fixed properly either.

**** is a company that continually conducts shady business.

      Sincerely,

      *****************

Bought a van from them in May and since have had nothing but issues. The van is a lemon, it doesn't run and has various issues they "fixed" after having us bring it in under the pretense that it would be covered under warranty. They then tried to charge us for repairs less than a month after buying it. Their customer service and ********************** are some of the worst I have ever experienced. They have repeatedly harassed us after telling us not to contact them, and then continuing to contact us to antagonize us. They have cursed at us, used course language with us, and been wildly disrespectful to my trans girlfriend, and I really think that has something to do with it. This store should not even be running and it's surprising that they are if this is the lack of care they exhibit and the outright bigotry against us. These people are awful and it's caused massive amounts of stress, anxiety, and depression and cost my girlfriend her job due to not being able to get back and forth to work because the car won't run AFTER being "fixed" if someone cojld please help us take the correct legal action and process it would be greatly appreciated.

My original price on the vehicle I got was ****** I believe. After loan fees it was 23k roughly. I have had nothing but issues with the vehicle, differential had to be replaced, transmission cable had to be replaced, there are other issues that had to be fixed by myself. I wanted to trade my truck in and the bank said they would buy back my loan but when I was speaking to someone over text they told me it was negative 7k in equity and that my truck was only worth 11k. So I was grossly overcharged and now am stuck with a crappy truck. When I told him it was their Northside location that did this, all the reply I got was "ugh" and no response after that. I tried to email and it wouldn't go through. I want this negative equity to somehow be fixed is removed or paid for some they over charged me for the price of the truck. They also did this to me with my car!

      Business Response

      Date: 07/01/2024

The client purchased the vehicle on 07/23/2022 for $18,999 plus tax title and license the client also purchased a service contract and GAP insurance the client did finance $23,118.67 after down payment. The Vehicle was listed at $20,999 online and we sold the vehicle for $18,999 which is a $2,000 reduction from the sales price we had on the vehicle the client agreed to the terms of the purchase of the vehicle we did not overcharge the client on the purchase of the vehicle. The dealership does not have control on what the book values of a vehicle are going to be 2 years later after the purchase. The book value of a vehicle changes all the time the vehicle had ******* on it when it was purchased and now the vehicle has ******* which also impacts the book value of the vehicle Auto Credit is not responsible for the negative equity that is owed on your vehicle. Attached is a copy of the used car order the book value at time of purchase and the book value as of July 1,2024. The trade in value is what dealers use to take a vehicle in on trade and that is assuming that the vehicle needs no work besides general cleaning and minor repairs if the vehicle has major issues, then the cost of major repairs would reduce the value of the vehicle.

I did a credit application online told I was approved I said I needed a 1 ton preferably a dually but a 2500 would work as long as it's a long bed. I've been talking g with a guy named *****. We talked about a **** f350 he said great and had it moved over to the store in ******* north and scheduled a time for me to come to drive and get it well none of this happened other than I drove 200 miles 1 way for a truck that was advertised in there system and wasn't even the right 1. Let alone cleaned and in street legal condition that's 400 miles in fuel and 10 hours of my time that was waisted I think I need to at least be reimbursed for the fuel at 400 18 = ***** gallons. *****!!! The salesmen ****** and ***** said they have seen this happen b4 and tried telling the main office to stop hourly pay 30 hr 10 300 dollars

We set appointments for clients the **** F-350 that was a diesel that the client wanted to look at is the one that was at the dealership. The appointment was set for a day that the client stated he was going to be in ******* that is the reason there was a appointment set but the customer has been in touch with the other 3 dealerships out of 4 and knew that he would have a hard time with that price range. We do not owe the customer for his time or fuel in this matter he is the one that set the appointment and came up to look at the vehicle.

      Thank you

I am rejecting this response because: seriously u think that is a response it clearly shows in texts from ur office that I was able to buy the truck financed thru you and shoot the truck wasn't even close to road worthy. Yes I understand ur the big business and I'm the little bad guy but I'll give u a bad rep on every social media platform and every truckstop there is from West coast to east coast I'm a truck driver and we do get around. Even ur own employees agree, u should pay for my time and fuel next stop is court

      Sincerely,
