I have health insurance, my insurance paid most of the balance. Sound physicians continues to say that they are sending an email to the collection agency to update the file for 400+ dollars to the correct amount $75.63. They have still to correct the issue and continue to drop my credit score. Can not upload anything because they have still not sent me anything.Business response

I received a **** dated 7/29 for emergency room services provided 13/30/2029. It is marked ***** days overdue. This is the first invoice Ive received. Also, my insurance has not been billed for this, although the invoice indicated that it had been.Business response

The insurance for this patient was updated, rebilled, and they paid in full leaving a zero balance for the patient.

Was in the hosiptal for a work related incident on 7/2019. Recieved a bill from sound physicians for $230.00 about 6 months later. Contacted sound physicians and told them to if my health insurance was denying they must contact the Massachusetts workers compensation unit and gave them a direct number to contact for payment as my claim was approved. On 7/2021 I have learned that sound physicians has sent my account to collections and has been placed on my credit report with no previous attempt to collect the debt after that initial call. This should not be allowed!Business response

I am writing this compliant as I have been unable to contact anyone regarding my issue. My insurance was charged twice for services rendered. They paid once and declined to pay a second time as it had already been paid. I called my insurance to confirm that I should owe nothing and that they were in fact paid and that I should not receiving a bill. Instead Sound Physicians kept sending me the same bill and I could never reach anyone when I did have time to call during their operating hours. Eventually the bill was sent to collections, I only know that it was because it showed up on my credit report. My insurance paid them, I do not owe them anything, even if I did they still failed to deduct the payment my insurance provided them. I have copies of statements from my insurance showing they were billed twice and paid only once.Business response
