Possinly the worst experience i have had with a service company. I Had a repair done september of ***************************** july but brennan was unable to get part for or service my unit for over an month. I was quoted $1500 for the repairs only to get a bill for $2700. As it dose in september It was starting to cool off so we didn't use unit much if at all. So in July as temps rised we started up the ac unit. Only to have same problem that was supposed to be fixed. I called brennan about issue. I was charged another $200 for an inspection. Tech discovered parts under warranty were not working. I was told that the parts were under warranty. However brennan still charged me another $300 to do the repairs. The repairs that should have been done right first time. I would warn anyone to choose a different company.

This should have no stars. So angry & disappointed. Have a ************ unit that was installed 5 years ago. When I tried the ** unit several weeks ago, very little cool air coming out. Already had a maintenance day set up, changed to a repair, but nothing earlier was available. Went thru a week of 90+ degree weather with no **. When tech guy came, he proceeded to tell me I had a leak & lost a lot of freon that would have to be replaced. AND would have to pay $690 to put dye in to diagnose & return in a month. So I forked over (charged) $1900 to fill up 7+ lbs of freon & set a date for Aug. The kicker is... I pay for maintenance every year. The tech guy said last year's notes showed I was a low on freon, yet the person then never investigated or bothered to say anything. If he had maybe he would have discovered a *********** wouldn't have had to pay for that much freon. I will let guy repair in August...if he can find the problem (& who knows what more I'll have to pay), but I will NEVER use this company again or recommend to anyone.

I wanted to follow up again on the issue we have been working on. I appreciate your efforts however it seems nothing has happened. That is too bad I am disappointed. This naturally affects Brennan credibility and our decision of where to purchase a new furnace. Again to summarize:The Brennan repair person came out to diagnose and hopefully repair our furnace. It had stopped working for about 6 hours a few days before. Then started working again on its own. I wanted to know why it stopped and if it could be fixed or I needed to replace it.He performed absolutely no diagnostics nor did he take a tool or testing device out. He summarized the error codes I gave him from when it was not working. He talked a great deal and did nothing. He tried to sell me a service plan When he found out ***** had already been out to quote a new furnace he became offended and he was done. By the way the actual issue I hoped he would diagnose and fix was sludge in the water drain thing on the side of furnace. The competent repair tech that caught that actually heard it before removing cover. It has worked great since. I truly and sincerely feel that the money I paid Brennan - $206.99 - for the diagnostics and repair was a waste of money and time. I feel that a refund would be appropriate and deserved. This experience has tainted by impression of Brennan which I once held in high regard.

May 2022: I called for a repair to the heat pump this company installed. When the serviceman arrived he backed over a hard-wired sidewalk light with his work van. He flippantly told me he backed over lights all the time and Brennan would repair it. After inspecting my unit he said I needed a new board costing $3000 which did not fix the problem. I am still waiting on the company to fix the damage to my property they created. I had another company fix the heat pump for a third of the price of the unneeded board.

We had Brennan come out 2/3/21, 2/4/21, and 2/5/21 to install a heat pump system at our residence. We spent $15,942 on our units. Brennan claims to have a factory parts/5 year labor warranty on their work as long as annual maintenance is performed by Brennan. We had Brennan come out and service our unit one year later in 2/2022 and followed that requirement. However, despite paying for upkeep on our almost new unit, on 11/27/22, the unit completely stopped functioning. It does not work at all. We have no heat in the middle of the winter. Despite multiple calls and voicemails, 9 days later, we are still without heat or any resolution to our issue. I mentioned in my multiple voicemails that we have two small kids and no heat and are in an emergency situation but have yet to talk to a service technician on the phone. Multiple times, an operator will answer their phone and promise me a call back by the end of the day that never comes. Brennan is a deceitful company that does not honor their warranty and won't even return a phone call to fix an issue with their own units they installed. As a next step, I'll be contacting an attorney to take legal action against the company for faulty parts and poor installation. My unit should not be broken less than two years old with annual maintenance. I would not recommend ever doing business with a company like Brennan.

My elderly parents called to have their condensation pump looked at because it was making a lot of noise. Brennan sent out a service technician and charged them $180. The technician told my parents that there was nothing wrong with the pump and pumps make noise. My husband went over to hear the pump and it was really loud and not normal at all. We have the same pump at our house and it does not sound like that.....it was so loud that you can literally hear it starting on a different floor of the house. My husband called Brennan to ask for the diagnostic report from the service technician who made the house visit and was told that there wasn't one. He spoke to the on-site supervisor, who then said, the technician who was sent out was super junior and if it is really loud, then likely it will need to be replaced. They can send a more senior technician to go and take a look at the pump for another $180 to make a diagnosis.I mean honestly....I would hope that a company who specializes in heating services would send out trained professionals who don't waste your time. And, if there is a training issue, I would hope you would want to make things right by sending out another technician without charging again for what the first technician should have caught or refunding the service charge from the first visit. We are taking our business elsewhere.
