I bought a moped from *************** on 5/14/22 ($2,125.08) and they changed the oil on 6/3/22 ($66.00). On 6/18/22 my scooter turned off while I was driving and took over an hour to get back on. It runs until I stop accelerating, for example when I get to a red light. I called *************** and they said the ethanol in the fuel could clogging the carburetor. They did not tell me to get ethanol-free gas when I bought it. They are offering to fix it for $250. They should offer to fix it free of charge or at least a large discount for failing to warn me to buy ethanol-free gas. I emailed the company and did not receive a response but they did publicly reply to my ****** review (no offer to resolve dispute).Business response

On May 21, 2022 my son and I visited Max-MPG ********************** to buy a Dirt Bike. The owner told us the price of the bike we want . He told us the price out the door is $1299. We agreed and bought the bike. When the transaction was posted on my credit card I was charged $400 more on the price of the bike plus tax. He did not mention about the extra $400 which is for set up fee. Hes denying the out the door price he told us. Also the bike is making a weird metal grinding noise and told us its normal . Theres no warranty whatsoever for this new bike. I want the owner to return the setup fee that was added to the Out the door price he quoted me.Business response

I really don't know how to respond to this complaint. I am enclosing the purchase order which the customer signed when he took delivery of the motorcycle. Everything is in writing. We don't charge accounts after customers leave. We provide a purchase order with itemized totals. Regarding the grinding sound which he refers to. It is the chain drive. He brought the bike back after riding it for sometime and had failed to follow the provided maintenance list. So the chain was very loose and making grinding noises. We adjusted that for him with no charge and explained it to him. There is really nothing else to say. Again I don't really understand this complaint since the documentation is clear. If you have any further questions you can contact us directly at the shop. ************
