I was inpatient at ********************************** in February of 2023. Somehow The Vancouver Clinic got an old billing address that I have not lived at for ********************************************************************************** full within days of receiving the statement. They did not have my correct phone number either. As a result, they turned my account over to ***************************** They are telling me it was my responsibility to update my demographics and they got the address from the hospital which I know is not accurate if EVERY other provider including the ambulance company had the correct billing address. I expect The Vancouver Clinic to make this right or I will continue to escalate and am not opposed to contacting the Washington Attorney General ******************** to file an Attorney General complaint. They need to make this right and remove this from **************************** and my credit report.

I went in for a wellness visit to a new doctor. I was charged ****** for talking about things outside of the wellness visit. I don't even know what that means anymore but I thought I would explain the 5 different things that were a concern to me. I'm on ******** and can't afford extra bills. Especially not on something that should have been covered. This seems really shady too me and seems like they are billing people extra because they can get away with it. Please at least look into this practice. I would have been more than happy to pay a copay but not this.

On 4/8/24 I transported a 80yr old friend to the Vancouver Clinic in ************ for MOHS surgery. It started at 10am and on average takes 3-4 hours or more. At 1215pm I received a call from my friend stating they still had a little bit left to get but that the Dr decided they needed an hour lunch break and to come back at 130pm. This is unheard of and I said it was not ok to stop mid-procedure for an hour lunch break. I was met with attitude from the receptionist, Well the Dr has to eat or they might get shaky hands. Are you kidding? This is beyond unprofessional and borders on elder abuse. This is a complete error on this companys judgement. The level of care here is atrocious for people with ********* elderly and afraid to advocate for themselves.

In Feb 2023 I had my eyes examined at the Ophthalmolgy Clinic. I was told my prescription had not changed and I have glaucoma. Used my insurance and paid $500 for new glasses and lenses. I complained about the scrip, and was given another examination. In March 2023 Ophthalmology Clinic admitted they were wrong, had another examination, and they said I didn't have glaucoma, and provided new prescription. I spent $684 for another pair of glassed and new lenses. When I picked up the glasses, the calculation of the progressive was off and I could not see through the glasses. They did them again, but were unable to fix them on my face properly. I filed a complaint with administration. Only received a call from the supervisor, who was not very helpful. Finally, I had to wait, but I made an appointment with Peace Health Ophthalmology Clinic for a second opinion, so at least I would have something in writing. I had a doctor examine me. I was told that for my eyes, the second prescription from Vancouver Clinic was wrong, the lenses were wrong, and the fitting was wrong. I filed a second complaint with Vancouver Clinic but again they refuse to respond. When I asked for the chain of command, because there was no follow up on my first complaint, administration was very vague and unwilling to reach any resolution. Administration did not have a viable process for my complaint, and if they had one, they did not want to provide one. I do not want to be seen at Vancouver Clinic Ophthalmology for any reason. I want a return for the amount I paid for the two pairs of lens.

*****, ************ The visit was in November 2022; I already paid $188 towards this bill, insurance paid $219, and today, I got hit by the last portion of this bill: *****. Just a day before my appointment with them. This brought up my old grievances with Vancouver Clinic. ****************************** treated me then. I told the doctos that I only agreed to the tests if they would change the course of my treatment. I had had a low-degree fever for weeks by then. He tested me for viral infections. It appeared that he wanted to rule out viral infection so he could describe antibiotics to me. When I walked in, I told him that I thought I would need antibiotics. After all tests came back negative, he said I did not need antibiotics. Those tests did not change the course of my treatment. And also there is no treatment available for those viral infections if I had tested positive. I messaged the doctor, but he did not give me the courtesy to reply. The other issue I had with the clinic was with a different doctor, in 2022. My daughter (*******************) had a stomach ache. She was not in visible pain when we arrived. We talked to the doctor ******* and I told him that if the problem came back, we would get the ultrasound done. He told me that if I did not go that day, my daughter could not have children. This wording is unprofessional, and guilt-tripping me into a procedure. A professional doctor would have explained what made him worried and the chances of that possible diagnosis and allowed me to make an informed decision. When I contacted the clinic about the issue with ************** they brushed me off; they did not even try to understand my point. They demanded payment, which I took care of. **** they demand more payment just a say before my appointment- without acknowledging my complaint, learning from it, and improving their services and communication. We go to doctors because we need help and not for unnecessary medical procedures that are not clearly communicated to us.

We took our Daughter to ****** hospital on June 19th, her appendix needed to be removed. We had her appendix removed. After dealing with ****** billing (which was very helpful) we got a bill from Vancouver Clinic with just a total - no explanation of costs. We didnt even know Vancouver clinic saw our daughter. When I asked for a breakdown of the bill they wouldnt send it because of company policy they needed approval from my daughter. We finally got them to send a breakdown of the bill and now I am in collections. I feel I should not be in collections over their company policy now that theyve sent me what I needed, we have started the claim process- if you can get them to take me out of collections that would be very helpful. I dont even want to pay this since I feel bated - we did not go to ****** ER in Salmon Creek to be billed by Vancouver clinic on Millplain - this whole charge of $1,814 is theft in my opinion. Please ask them to remove me from collections- we have started the claim

On or around April 28 2023, I had a phone visit with the ************************* on my sleep apnea problem. On that day, I told the dr. I did not want to take this issue any further at this time. I told him I would not have any insurance on the 1st of may. He proceeded to do something on May 5th, that I had no knowledge of him doing or having permission to do anything. As I mentioned before, I wouldn't have insurance. So I called them and explained the situation, they sent me a letter back saying it was all coded right. It had nothing to do with the coding, I said to stop and they didn't. They billed me for ******

I was seen in office with my primary care doctor on 10/05, I recently gave birth and needed to be seen by OB, had an appointment on 10/18, talked about pain management, OB recommended to contact my primary care doctor because ** was unable to provide pain meds and my primary care doctor needed to do that. When I left my appointment, I sent a message to my primary to get help for my pain, they system told me it could be up to 3 days before I hear something back. I called in the next day making sure my message was coming through, they confirmed it is waiting for my primary care provider to check it and also put it as urgent. 3 days later, still no contact back to me regarding my issue, I called in to see why i am being ignores, no one can tell me why, but my doctor has been in everyday and still has not even looked at my message. ****** is now telling me that I need to go in for another appointment even though I have already been seen 2 times for this issue and should not be forced to go again, I have a new baby and trying to get back to work, I cannot take time off to go back in for a 3rd time for the same reason. They are running a scam to get as much insurance as possible and are caring for their patients

Vancouver clinic dropped me as a patient and although they were the sole medical facility that was aiding me through the most fragile, detrimental and crucial years of my health after being diagnosed with HIV. Their reason was for missed appointments but they did not even allow me to explain that I was missing appointments due to the fact that I was visiting their facility three times a week for phototherapy and I had missed those appointments because I was instructed to do so by the staff after experiencing ***** on my skin. I was never given advance notice of my patient status being revoked, and it took three months to begin phototherapy at a new physicians office. My psoriasis in the meantime overtook my whole lower half of my body causing me extreme depression and lingering health issues. The stress alone of having to leave the team that did my blood work for years-The only team that I trusted to do so- is still something I have not overcome.I wish nothing more than my voice to be heard so that no one else may be subjected to such unfortunate and unfair treatment.
