1 starGot scammed into signing a contract that has 48 months leasing of an equipments $599 per month, the equipment full price is only $2000 at most. Called the company customer service just 10 mins after, to cancel the agreement since the sale rep ***** explain that equipment leasing, only talking about saving rate but actually transfer the fee to my customers instead and called it the cash discount program, I tried to reach out multiple times to cancel everything, before any equipment or my account is completed set up, but nobody is willing to help, I even offer the cancellation fee of one time payment, but they dont want to help. They want to keep me in their rip off contract of 48 months whether I use their service or equipment or not. Please contact me to get the cancellation done, Im tired to running around trying to get someone to help me resolve this.Review fromHannah P

1 starRiverside and ALL its affiliated companies are a huge scam designed to scam business out of hard-earned money. After being borderline harassed with cold calls multiple times a day over the phone for months and a representative already stopping by once to talk, I finally decided to hear her out. In that talk I, a young new business owner was lied to by that representative who claimed guaranteed savings complete software integrations and cancelations at any time. What they dont tell you or give you a chance to read for yourself in the contract is that you are stuck in a 48 month lease with 2 contracts costing me more then $580 a month for a credit card processer I was given 5 different processers and my small shop in a small town only needs 1 after calling to return the extras they told me no that they were mine now whether I needed them or not and I had to pay for them anyway. I was promised integration with my current software and after voicing my concerns that it wouldnt work, I was assured by the sales representative that it would well it didnt. Then a random inconsistent charge was taken out of my account for over $900 this was done before I even had set up or used the machine. I have called multiple times trying to get my program switched with no one being able to even give me an answer till finally I was done. I tried canceling and they told me no and the only way to get out of there contract is to pay $695 plus continuing paying $587 each month for the machines and Im not even using 4 of them! I will be putting this company on a stop pay with my bank sending the machines back with a certified signature and contacting my lawyer. Riverside company has been nothing but a headache since the sales person walked through the door.Review fromBart M

1 starBeware!! Make sure to read this. This company has over 150 BBB complaints and you can also find complaints on Reddit. We fell for the pitch for this company, had to wait over six months for services to even begin, and the services have been AWFUL. We were charged over 2K for processing when they werent even providing services yet, never got follow through on our hand held devices, and had a slew of upset customers because our system had been screwed up. We called several times, eventually moving to termination for the contract not being upheld on their end. They are refusing to return the money owed, they say process with us and youll get your refund or else we keep iteven though it was admittedly wrongly and fraudulently charged. They are a NIGHTMARE, dont do it!! Also beware that if you dont act like ***** ******** their employees will raise their voices, talk over you, and tell you that you have no option but to comply.Review fromArturo M

1 stariverside Payments Scam - A Warning to All Potential Customers I recently became a victim of a scam involving Riverside Payments, and I feel compelled to warn others about this deceptive company. I was initially approached by a representative claiming that they could help my business save money on payment processing fees. The pitch seemed legitimate, and I was convinced to sign up for their services. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse:Unclear Terms and Hidden Fees: The contract I signed had vague language regarding fees, and I was never fully informed of the additional costs I would incur. After I agreed to their services, I discovered numerous hidden charges, which were not clearly explained at the time of signing.Unresponsive ***************** When I attempted to reach out to their support team for clarification on the fees, I encountered long wait times and eventually received no response at all. Attempts to contact management or a supervisor were also unsuccessful.Unauthorized Transactions: To my surprise, Riverside Payments began processing transactions without my authorization. I noticed charges on my business bank account that were not agreed upon, further increasing my distrust in their practices.Difficulty Cancelling: When I decided to cancel the service, I faced even more challenges. The company made it nearly impossible to cancel my account without paying additional fees. Despite my attempts to contact them multiple times, I was given the ************ is clear that Riverside Payments operates with dishonest practices, preying on unsuspecting business owners. I urge anyone considering their services to avoid them at all costs. I am now in the process of reporting them to the appropriate authorities, and I hope others take heed before falling victim to the same scam. Please be cautious and do your due diligence before signing any agreements with this company.Review fromAlexander D

1 starRiverside claims to save money on processing, it's all lies. They charge more than anyone else. And make it impossible to cancel. They keep taking money out of my account. I have repeatedly asked to cancel and every time I get told I have to talk to another person in the company. Nothing will ever be resolved until my business closes. What company makes you sign a contract for 4 years? I told ****** ********, I won't be in business for 4 more years!, She said all you have to do is send a letter that your company is no longer in business. This is the worst company. The only reason there is 1 star is because they won't post without one.Review fromMar E

1 starRiverside payments inc. A few months ago in my business come "*******" she came to offer card processing service where I was supposedly going to save money and I accepted thinking she really going to help me, I told her. I wanted a self-checkout system she called the office and they told her yes they operated that type of machines I told her to then send me that and the person from the office told me the only thing you have to do is put the change , she told me to sign an agreement where I agreed that they were going to save me money and she told memany times that was not a contract.that they did not like to have customers by force , then some clover package arrived at my store I didn't want to work with Clover , because I personally never do a contract with clover she do the installation and they are installing the machines that Clover sent were not what they told me that did not serve to scan things or to make a self-charge and I told her that I better not want to work with them anymore she told me that they were going to send me some labels so that I could return all the equipment I haven't even received a label to return the equipment, then came the first charge that was more than 500 dollars and it doesn't seem fair to me that they charge something that one is not using then they never told me that I had to make a payment to Clover apart from the payment that is being made to Riverside I told them that in no way am I saving with them on the contrary I am spending a lot of money for something that I did not like and I do not want to work with them and they now say that the "Agreement" is a 48-month contract, something that they never explained to me and I am very disappointed with that because they are not helping me at all and everything was a lieReview fromDebbie G

1 starI have been in business for 12 years and this has by far been the worst experience that I have ever had. A lady stopped in unsolicited to talk with me about my credit card processing company. She informed me that she could save me close to $1000 a month in processing fees. I had explained that at this point I was not interested in the program there was just too much going on at the time. Several months later she stops in repeatedly with how much I would be saving. I hesitated but I went ahead and signed up. I received the new equipment within 2 weeks. I dragged my feet on getting everything up and going. However, I wish that I never saw this woman or heard of Riverside. The saving that I am supposed to see, I have not seen at all. In fact, I have been using it for 10 days and my projection is that at the end of the month I am going to be paying the same as with my other company. The *** they replaced with is so far behind anything for a restaurant. I have called them every day since day one and it has been nothing except one issue after another. Trying to get help from anyone there is horrible, no call backs. I wish that I could just quit them and stay with my previous company. Please, before deciding to go with this company, do your research. Make sure that what you will get will be better than what you currently have. My employees and I all feel like we went from ***** 16 back to ***** flip phone. Just think twice before going with this company
