I received a phone call from ********** at 10:12 AM on 1/30/2024 from a salesperson at Focus LLC. I am on the *** Registry, yet Focus LLC continues to call me in an attempt to sell me on their ad products. Despite having been told numerous times to not contact me and informing them that my phone number is on the *** registry, they continue to call. Now I am resorting to filing a complaint through BBB to get the point across to Focus LLC. Focus LLC, please screen for *** registrants, it is illegal to not comply with this list. Thank you.

I spoke directly to the Owner of the business and apologized to him direcltly for being called. He let me know it was not only us he had received many and we were just up on the list that tipped the bucket for the day. He wants to remove this post and we did place him in our internal DNC. We are a small business and reviews like these effect our ability to gain trust with clients especially when they are not based on our performance. Please remove,

thank you and have a great day!

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

If able, I approve Better Business Bureau removing this complaint so as not to affect Focus, LLC in the future.

      Sincerely,

      *******************

I was contacted by a sales representative in Oct 2022 to promote my business by putting ads 'in front of thousands of highly qualified buyers' as she put it. I paid $900 between two different *********************** with 2 different businesses. I paid for 1 visual and 2 copy only ads for each business. This was only for 1 month of service. When I met with their "highly qualified" design team, they produced visual and copy that I would expect from a toddler. Their copy was clunky, it didn't flow, it was messy wording & if I was a consumer, I wouldn't understand or be enticed to click on the ad. This was after I detailed to them everything about the ads on the phone, with websites & landing pages for them to use. I had to write my own copy for their services I paid them to do. This calls into question their quality of setting up the ad on the backend as this is a meticulous process. I've made my own successful ads in the past but I opted to try a service to give myself a break during the holiday season. Truly a horrendous mistake to trust these people. Both businesses I stepped back only a little on posting on social media and other outlets I normally use. BOTH businesses saw drops in numbers via my statistics. When looking at where the traffic came from, they brought 2.1% and 1.7% of the traffic. I brought in the rest. It's interesting that there is no place to actively review them. As a business owner, integrity is huge in serving your customers. The little I've found on blogs people wrote about them is receiving awful service just like I received. No wonder they don't want transparency or reviews.I emailed them both 10 and 5 days out from *********** charge date. According to their contract I must notify them before 3 days prior to the next charge happen. In the same email I notified them 10 days out, I made an ad change. They responded to the changes but not the cancelation. They charged me and I disputed it with my card. They did eventually recognize this extra charge.

Please refer to screenshots above of said emails from us and the client. We have made all the efforts and we also were approved to launch per her emails. Thank you

      HI *********,

We have made many attempts to call to resolve any issues or frustrations. We are also a little confused by this post due to the last reply we received was that ********* approved her ads and said that These look great lets launch. We will admit the one mistake we made we corrected and we refunded her the $400 from her being billed by mistake, and then on top of the refund she is requesting an additional $900.00 that is not owed to due to the fact that we provided the services that were promised and approved by you. The evidence is in the emails you sent in approving your ads and telling us, (********* replied with) -" Looks great, thank you! Ready to Launch". These were your exact words. Our ad team has bent over backwards, and has gone above and beyond to make sure you had exactly what you wanted before your ads went live. If you did not want the services or did not like the ads, we would have loved to hear this to remedy any and all issues ahead of time. Especially would have been great to know before we launched and spent money on your advertising. Instead you chose to move forward and let us know the ads looked great. I apologize if you are not satisfied with your results, we have been in business for years and we always do the best and strive to improve year over year to get better. We promise exposure and we promise your ads to run on ****** in front of potential buyers, but nowhere in our statements or on our sites do we promise or guarantee results. We are an advertising firm and based on the analytics and your feedback we did our job, and even refunded you a full ****** due to an error on our end.  This post is truly unbecoming of a business owner and very unprofessional and feels like an attempt to hurt a small business due to the fact that you are un happy with your results. In the future please call us directly and work with us on a solution before the attempt of destroying a business online. I know our business owner is fantastic to work with and would be more than willing to find a solution.
